Patra leaps away from the two men, thankful for Counterpunch's distraction and narrowly avoiding a taser-ing. Rolling over Clio's hood to reach the driver's side and flinging open the door, she calls back, "I'm sorry to hear that, but I really must be going!"
OOC: Feel free to give me a smack if you guys think that's too much action for one post!

What, does the lady think she's the Dukes of Hazzard, now, sliding over hoods?
"You're not going anywhere! Stop!" Simmons shouts, reaching into his coat to access the shoulder-holster that contains not a taser, but a pistol.
There's a noise that could but a gunshot, but could also be a Hummer backfiring. Simmons, who just finished standing back up, falls back down to the ground with his hands over his head, shouting "Shooter! hit the deck!" His suit and tie are now unacceptably dirty.

Mikey begins to draw his own weapon and is in the process of aiming it when a noise that sounds like gunfire goes off from a source that isn't him, causing him to instinctively pull the trigger, but also leading to the shot going wild as he automatically hits the ground. He doesn't cover his hands over his head but instead tries to look around. Has the SUV started its engine, too? What are these, remote control cars?
... That gives Franklin an idea, though not one he can act on at the moment.
Counterpunch starts to back up, prepping for a turn-around so that he can be off as soon as Patra's inside. This whole mission didn't go as well as he'd hoped, and he won't be able to even attempt his secondary mission, but it was still... educational.

Patra tosses herself into Clio, her partner's engine roaring to life as she slams the door shut behind herself. How nice of the other Decepticons to help keep her from getting little bits of metal lodged in her body!
Patra barely has time to put her hands on the steering wheel before Clio takes off as fast as she can accelerate. It's awfully tempting to try and run the two humans on the ground over, but that seems like it might make for more trouble than it's worth.

Swindle's engine roars to life. He backs up and turns around, preparing to peel away after Clio and Counterpunch. The arms dealer makes a private note to himself to park head-out in the future, in case he needs to make another quick escape without transforming.
Simmons cautiously takes his hands off his head and looks around, rising to his feet. Seeing that the coast seems to be clear, in that no-one is shooting at him, he immediately runs for the driver's side door of the black SUV he arrived in.

Counterpunch is off with the others - maybe even faster, what with being a BMW. Of course, all three of them have a head start humans.
Mikey runs to the SUV, shouting "Hey!" as Simmons heads towards the driver's door - though he jumps in the passenger's side, anyway. Oh, well. Boss wants to drive, boss can drive. But Franklin does buckles his seat belt.
"I don't think we should turn back on the cells or call for back-up until we're out of range of this place, sir," he says, jerking his head towards the radio antenna component as he talks. "We need to get copies of this place's recordings for right now. Those cars started by themselves and drove on their own, and if even a cell phone interferes with reception here, a remote control powerful enough to do that will definitely show up!"

Clio's wheels carry her away from the scene as fast as they can carry her, Patra slipping on her seat belt and taking up her position of pretend driver. With any luck, the Decepticons will leave the humans in the dust, or at least get far enough ahead that Clio can stop briefly to let Patra get into her armour and link-up so she can make use of the Nebulan's power for a boost of speed.
How annoying, though. They barely accomplished anything! What an unfortunate waste of time.

Swindle is bringing up the rear behind Counterpunch and Clio, driving as fast as he can, but most of his attention is behind himself, not ahead. If he could transform he could throw tire spikes onto the road. Or an oil slick. Or land mines. They should have brought Oil Slick for this.
Franklin is wise to buckle up, because as soon as Simmons is in the car and his own seat-belt is buckled, he starts the car and puts the pedal to the metal, an obsessive predator intent on his prey. "As soon as we're clear of the array, call HQ! I want a chopper here, pronto!"
OOC: I would prefer the 'Cons swiftly outrunning (i.e. in one round) the Feds, or maybe Space Bridging out and then a wrap. Everyone else? (Sorry for late post.)

Oh, hey, Simmons actually listened to his suggestion about not turning on the radios too soon! What a pleasant surprise! He nods, reaching for the radio, finger hovering over the "on" switch. "Got it, sir!"
Counterpunch quickly overtakes Clio, passing her by and leaving her behind. He's got no reason to put his neck out for her, after all.
OOC: I'm with Swindle. I'm good for a fast wrap. Sector Seven will later find out that these guys were not remote control, which in and of itself is still something.

Clio may not be as fast as Counterpunch, but the Decepticons have a good head start, racing away from the two agents and leaving them in the dust.
