"Shockwave's," Fleetwind answers in response to Duskwing's question. He nods towards Misfire. "Misfire's right, I was talking about the hologram."
He reviews the manifest on his datapad, then looks over at Misfire, turning just in time to catch the tail-end of the quickly hidden fond smile. He doesn't behave as though he saw it.
"Let's focus on the lab and sickbay components, since they're all going to be going in the same area," he suggests.
And then Lyzack goes rushing out of the room. Fleetwind turns towards the door just as she disappears through it, his optics flickering. Then he just shrugs and goes back to the area where he had been working, removing the top of one of the boxes to make sure that everything that's supposed to be inside is.

Duskwing looks slightly nonplussed at Lyzack's reaction, then shrugs. "Of course you're not crass. You're a dame!"
He slews his head around to look at Fleetwind, but misses any special smiles between Misfire and Fleetwind. "Huh. Why is dere a Shockwave hologram? Somebody run a sim and forget to turn it off?" He moves up and tries to look over Fleetwind's shoulder at the manifest. "'kay. Dat's the C24 stack in hangar 3, right? Or is dat the munitions stack?"

Aimless's laughing fit is interrupted as a giant robot cat tries to determine if Aimless is a scooby snack. "Hey!" he cries, scrambling to his feet and after Misfire, "I am not canned food! Keep your paws to yourself!"
Misfire nods at Fleetwind's direction, scoops up Aimless, and heads off down a different tunnel. He return shortly with two crates of items earmarked for the new medbay.
Picking up the conversation where he left off, Misfire says to Duskwing, "The one that showed up when Scourge took over. Heard it shot that Gigatron fellow for some reason or another." Misfire snorts, "Wish it had done more than shoot him, honestly."

It is unclear just how much of verbal speech that Lionessbreast understands. Complicating the matter is that even if Lionessbreast understands what Skystrike and Aimless are saying, she might not be inclined to obey, contrary creature that she is. After a moment, she backs off and sits up on her haunches, tail swinging lazily behind her. She stares at Aimless. However he moves, her head will track to follow him.
Lyzack does not directly look at Skystrike in the hall. She just picks up a reasonable number of crates for her given size and strength, without any waste of time, but she isn't obviously recklessly rushing, either. There are loading drones that do a more exciting and spirited performance than this.

Skystrike is rather used to being around fully sentient cats, so her general reaction to any new cats is to treat them like people. She will not appreciate Lioness Breast being disobedient regardless of whether or not the cat understood her anyways.
At least the cat was being less baffling than its owner. The berkut silently shakes her head after Lyzack walks past her and grabs the rest of the crates for the terminals before returning to the room.
“Gigatron,” she echoes Misfire darkly, optics narrowing. “Agreed on that account.” Tactical nuclear warhead would have been much more prudent course of action. “Isn’t he from the same universe as Shockwave?”

"If he is, I wasn't aware of it," Fleetwind answers Skystrike with a shrug. "But then, I only have grunt-level security access." Technically, he has Intelligence-division grunt-level security access, but that's still not all that impressive. "Medical files might have some clues, but we should probably take most of what Gigatron told us with a grain of silicate."
He shakes his head at Duskwing. "No, C24, hanger 2. You're right about the other one being munitions." Meaning they probably don't want that near the medical bay stack.
He finishes the inventory of the current box, checks it off, and moves onto the next. It's a rather tedious task, but, given that it's not unusual for inventory to go... missing during operations like this, it's necessary.

"I dunno. Just know he wasn't from back home, 'cause he didn't no nothin' 'bout Slogism. An' did it anyway," Duskwing says darkly as he trundles off to Hanger 2 to pick up more medbay supplies.
The newbie, Lyzack, seems to be ignoring him. Maybe she's too busy to stop and chat. Or maybe she's like the rest of them and thinks she's too important to talk to a grunt like Duskwing. He flexes his ailerons in annoyance; he'll see later--maybe in the mess hall, where she can't just pretend to have work to ignore him with. If she's really snubbing him, well.. he can ignore right back. He can ignore Autobots aiming shots at her back real well, if it comes to that.
Various surly and disgruntled thoughts chase through Duskwing's mind as he picks up another armload of crates. Why does Fleetwind just have to count everything up and check the invoices so carefully? How the slag is he supposed to skim off his share of 'lost' supplies if Yellowbelly keeps doing that? Skim off without being caught, that is. Can't help himself in the cargo bay, because if the invoice and Fleet's inventory don't match, and Duskwing is the one who carted them in... yeah, no. Maybe Ole Yeller will slack off by the time they get to Hangar 3 and the munitions crates.
Still scowling, he ambles back in with another armload of crates.

Aimless is going to stay transformed and on Misfire's hip for as long as the giant robot cat is eying him. He has no desire to become a cat treat.
Misfire shrugs and agrees with Fleetwind, "Yeah, I don't think they were from the same place." He will set down his current set of boxes and heads back for some more.

Lyzack is just having reality-clash issues.
Returning laden with crates, she looks to Fleetwind, not quite at him, but in his general vicinity. Since Aimless is busy being a gun instead of food, Lionessbreast pads over to Lyzack and rubs up against Lyzack's ankle while Lyzack is trying to hold still while carrying crates. Lyzack squirms a bit, face briefly contorting. She asks softly, "These crates, uhm..."
Where do they go?

“It would at least explain the hostility, at least,” Skystrike comments idly. “Shockwave is a mech of reason and his ghost is likely the same.” If they were from the same universe, whatever Gigatron must have done, it must have really ticked their previous lord off. There must have been a reason why the hologram had shot after all.
Setting the creates down, the blue jet idly wonders if they would have been better prepared, If Shockwave had been here. But Gigatron had taken down their leaders, their frontliners and Bruticus (albeit, missing a leg) in a single battle.

"Perhaps he just suspected something?" Fleetwind asks, and then he points out, "I mean, he didn't exactly leave under the... best of circumstances for us."
Old Yeller continues in his annoying task of being annoyingly honest. If Duskwing wants to vanish some supplies, he'll have to do so later. At that point, Fleetwind will no longer be watching - the inventories won't be his responsibility anymore, so he won't care.
He glances up as Lyzack asks about the crates, and gestures towards a pile on the far wall. "Over there, unless I'm mistaken."
OOC: Since the main goals of this thread (introduce Lyzack, establish that the 'Cons are building an under-snow antartic base) have been accomplished, perhaps we should move to a working fade?

Duskwing just drops his crates in a pile next to another stack. He's feeling much too put upon to check where they go this time--nursing his resentments has higher priority. He continues to move crates without speaking much, but gives everyone plenty of surly glares.
--- Fade good with me. You can skip/drop Duskwing into the background now.

Misfire continues to generic tote and carry duties. Periodically, he seems to be deep in thought, occassionally casting looks at Fleetwind when the pastel jet isn't looking.
