"Hey, what are you- Whooooaaaa!" Knockout does not sound happy when he is grabbed and lifted up. Not at all. He flails at first before he realizes that it's a good idea to stay still when a blind robot is trying to fly with him in their arms. It does not stop him from looking around with absolute terror in his eyes, though. "What is going- I don't know! The ground is opening up and there is something moving, something BIG!"

Skywarp is not amused in the slightest with the fuss Knock Out puts up and clamps down hard on him to keep him from squirming free and subsequently plummeting to whatever injury awaits him below. Wind Sheer, taking care to make sure their immediate vicinity is clear of anything but Blast Off, also peers downward.
"He's right," says the Mini-Con. "Underground machinery, I think."
"I don't recall asking you," Skywarp replies. Wind Sheer is taken aback, but says nothing more to Skywarp and instead looks at Knock Out. If he can reach the carbot, he'll give him a reassuring pat on the nearest arm or shoulder before retreating to his designated place. Skywarp turns his eyeless gaze toward the ground out of reflex, then curses quietly because why did he do that? and looks toward the sound of Blast Off's voice. "Who's missing?"
In the shadows below where the grounds have cracked open, the ladders and chutes nearest the top are clearly visible now. Sharp eyes will catch the suggestion of motion deeper down, just out of sight. Wind Sheer eyes the underground game warily and shivers.

Wow, Skywarp and the Micromaster don't get along?
"Frenzy," Blast Off reports, and somewhat wearily, the shuttle tries to fly closer to Skywarp so that Knock Out can jump off and ride someone who is not blind.

OOC: Crossposted.
The hissing makes Magnus slow his stride, in part because he can't pinpoint the source, though it's loud. He advances, rifle in hand again, cautiously. There are glimpses of airborne shapes as the smoke from exploding and burnt bumper cars clears – one of them looks like Blast Off – and there's… a massive chasm in the ground. Magnus sees ladders and twisting chutes that, as he draws closer, just keep stretching further down.
"More insanity?" he wonders, scowling.

"An answer is an answer! You really shouldn't be so picky, you know. You aren't exactly in a position to deny any help!" Knock Out is actually standing up for the little guy! "ESPECIALLY WHEN HE'S THE ONE MAKING SURE YOU DON'T FLY INTO SOMETHING AND TAKE ME WITH YOU!" Or not. He wisely stops squirming, either because the pat worked or because his self preservation reached a stage where keeping still actually sounds like a better idea.
Until Blast Off comes close, at least. He wriggles out of Skywarp's grasp and drops onto the shuttle, carefully positioning himself so he won't fall off at a moment's notice. "We can pick Frenzy up when we know what's going on!" The doctor peers into the shfiting machinery, and when his gaze shifts, he sees something unexpected. "...Is that an Autobot?"

Skywarp turns a stony expression on Knock Out's defence of Wind Sheer, but he says nothing; there's no point in explaining the situation with the Mini-Con. For his part, Wind Sheer only seems to quietly shrink away from the support. He did, after all, speak out of turn, and if he tried to clear the air, it would just make Skywarp angry.
"Can't say," Skywarp replies with an overabundance of sarcasm, turning. If it is an Autobot, that's certainly fortuitous. "But he might be the least of our problems if your friend's gone missing around here."
The chasm Magnus approaches seems to have reached its apex; it isn't opening any wider, though parts are still settling into position. There's a chance the edges are still unstable. He might want to keep his distance.

The ground attempts to open underneath Ultra Magnus and drop him down a slick, slimy chute.
The first layer of the tube is a layer of lubricant slime. the second layer is a layer of protective slime. The third layer is a layer of meat and bone.
Someone hollowed out a live giant snake and preserved it in resin to make this chute.
It's still hissing.
Should Ultra Magnus fall down the chute, he will find himself next to Frenzy and the dripping fangs of the snake's mouth.
Blast Off reports, "Ultra Magnus, I think."

Abruptly, Ultra Magnus has no footing. He tries to catch himself on the edge of the new hole in the ground, but it's just out of his reach. His fingertips scrape noisily as he misses the mark, then he only has a handful of slick, viscous gunk. The stuff is all over the walls of the tunnel – is this a living organism? – and keeps him sliding downward. He can't even brake his descent by jamming his feet against one wall and his hands against the other; the tunnel is just too wide. He curses viciously and considers shooting his way out.
He comes to a sudden, jarring stop before he can open fire. Magnus rolls with the landing, just missing an alien flash of silver, and slams shoulder first into the back of a very large fang.

"Watch it. Venom ain't good for you." The words practically spill over each other, they're said so fast. There's a flash of quicksilver-motion, then a small machine lands on Ultra Magnus's helm.
"Ooh. Reins. Mush!" Frenzy tugs helpfully on the big guy's antennae, just in case he's not too up on Earth terms.
Silliness with Ultra Magnus with player-permission.

OOC: Knock Out has timed out. Skipping.
"The stranger fell," Wind Sheer reports quietly. "I saw the Autobrand on his shoulder, but he didn't look that much like the Ultra Magnus I remember." His tiny hands grasp Skywarp's back a little more tightly; even now, he has so many mixed feelings about that emblem. Skywarp suffers no such fit of conscience.
"Let him rust," the larger jet mutters with thinly veiled hatred. "If we're missing a Decepticon, we have more important things to worry about."
"But…" Wind Sheer starts to say. He cuts himself off when he sees the way the area around Skywarp's empty optic sockets pinches; he's scowling. Angry. If only Wind Sheer understood why. "But he could be useful, don't you think?" he wonders, tentative, trying to make it sound more like a suggestion. He doesn't presume to tell Skywarp what to do, but they have their orders. Skywarp makes an indistinct, dissatisfied noise at this reminder, then turns his head in Blast Off's direction.
"Where's the last you saw this Frenzy?" he asks. Wind Sheer remembers to keep his comments to himself this time rather than volunteer that the odd, jagged little robot vanished about the same time the Decepticons followed him to the bumper car cage.

"Yes, letting him rust is an idea I can get behind!" The eagerness in Knockout's voice would be cause for concern if it was not expected for Decepticons to kill Autobots. There's not much else he can do anyways, not with hanging onto Blast Off for dear life. And pointing down at that gaping snake-thing, pearly face edged with a sharp wince. "About there, where the destruction derby ring was and now there is...Whatever that thing we don't want to go into is." Pause. "Oh, and we are missing a Junkion still!"

The snake tube is not so much alive as it is prevented from dying.
Should Ultra Magnus get any venom in him, he will find that it makes the world brighter and more colourful, with sparkles flying around like will-o-the-wisps. Objects almost seem to glow.
The world is beautiful.
Like a poison dart frog.
Blast Off inquires, "Can you tell us more about this place, Skywarp? How did you come to be here?"

There is a thing on his head. Ultra Magnus scowls. There is an impossibly tiny robot on his head. A tiny robot pulling on his head.
"Off," he rumbles as he rights himself, checking his shoulder for damage as he does so. He has no idea if he can trust the little one, but he'd be stupid to ignore any warnings in this place. There is some spatter on his plating from the venom that he quickly wipes away, but none has seeped into his systems that he can tell.
OOC: Perhaps split Magnus and Frenzy off into a separate thread?

"Nope. Don't feel like it. Not gonna." Frenzy tugs on only one of Ultra Magnus's antennae this time. "Thattaway. Gotta find people, gotta kill people, gotta giggle at their hubris."
OOC: Sounds like a plan! New post is 'Wake the Snake'.

Skywarp wants to ask what a Junkion is supposed to be, but Blast Off distracts him with a question. A very important one that he almost doesn't want to answer. Answering means he has to commit. Then again, he has his orders.
"Perhaps somewhere less…" he says, and he's about to suggest less exposed but that counts for precious little here. He can't look around for himself; Wind Sheer quietly suggests the courtyard by the merry-go-round. "Closer to the ground at least." He doesn't plan to lead them off anywhere conspicuously seedy, nor away from the trap that's swallowed their comrade and the Autobot. He drifts downward, approaching the merry-go-round that sits in clear line of sight to where the bumper car cage once stood. He'll even begin to explain on the way, assuming they follow.
Parts of the story might sound familiar.
"I'm not entirely clear on how I came to be here, myself," he says. "I remember the attack on Cybertron, and then a cave-in. Half the tower came down on us, I think. I came to here, and I wasn't the only one. There were – are – others all over this place. Some Autobots, some Decepticons. As near as I can tell, we all woke under similar circumstances. Some died right after appearing." He was witness to a couple of the deaths. He still wonders if they could have been saved, or if it would've been worth saving them. He shakes his head; none of his concern now. "A strange Decepticon greeted us," Skywarp goes on. "He said something about playing some games…." Here, Wind Sheer shivers at the memory.
