He- He's talking to her, isn't he? He's a stranger, and he's telling her not give up hope...
If he'll let her, Petunia flings her arms around Mr. Flynn in a sudden, enthusiastic hug. Equally suddenly, she releases him and steps back, her cheeks flaring red.

Aidan doesn't stop Petunia from hugging him, largely because he's too busy looking surprised. He does need to brace himself on the counter; his thin frame isn't sturdy enough to shrug off this sort of thing. But he just smiles that mild, sleepy smile of his and gets back to business.
"Do you think this will do?" he asks after clearing his throat, and tries to direct her attention to the arrangement.

"It's lovely! She'll love it." Hopefully. Also, hopefully Elly isn't allergic to anything.
Petunia smiles and reaches for her wallet.
OOC: wrap?

"I certainly hope so," Aidan says with full sincerity as he circles the counter to ring up Petunia's order. It's a little pricier than a bouquet from the supermarket cooler even excluding the cost of the vase, but he'll be proud to say that it's far superior in meaning and in longevity. The grocery florists never cut the flower stems properly; it makes it harder for the flowers to pull in water, shortens the life of the arrangement. He can't stand it. The bouquet is short-lived enough of a thing already.
With Petunia's receipt, he includes a single snowdrop.
OOC: Wrap is cool.
