"I don't suppose you'd be willing to bargain for Hook's release, as long as we're under a truce?" Starscream asks Rodimus as they pass.
He eyes the inside of the vessel appraisingly as the hatch closes behind him. He's fairly certain he could blow it up, drowning everyone inside save himself, if it came to that. Of course, he's also pretty sure he could just kill them all manually, if he had to. Vortex and Hellbender might survive that too, which would be a bonus.
The air commander's face is impassive as Costigan gives his safety lecture. He hates being reminded that there's water outside the vessel. Water massively inconveniences him.

"Eh?" Wednesday says, perking up at Metatron. His pout stretches out into his more typical goofy grin. "Aw, naw, Goldilocks-" Silvilocks? "That might actually be fun. Potentially lethal, but fun."
If things go really, really bad, he is totally willing to blow up himself and everybody else for the greater good. Or something. It'd be kind of nice not to have to blow up, though.
"Just me 'n her-" He nods his head in the direction Valerie. "-Have had a thing from before I ever knew she was a 'Con."

"Would I be willing? Probably not," Rodney answers glibly, "but that's the sort of thing you should probably ask my boss about." He glances at Metatron. Perhaps he shouldn't have said that - the Decepticons' consistent underestimation of Emirate Xaaron throughout the war has only been to their detriment, after all.
He glances towards Wednesday. 'A thing'? He smirks. "What? Ex-girlfriend?" he teases. He will probably regret this.
OOC: Let's just skip to the arrival at the undersea base, with its attendant weird sealife? At least once any interesting chitter-chat is done with, anyway.

Starscream won't be outright killed by water, unless he has some weird allergy to it. He could just scuttle the submarine once they are underway. It might be worth it, to him. The death of a Prime. Starscream clearly cares about that.
"You're assuming that Hook would want to go back," she says blithely, and she shrugs.
OOC: Fine with that.

Valerie gives Costigan a toothy grin at the Pointed Look. So they’ll probably all die asides from maybe Starscream if she uses her power? See if she cares. They’ll probably just get replaced by another displaced version of themselves. They were all utterly worthless.
… No, no, no, bad ‘Tex. No self destructive nihilistic thinking. That could just be weird squishy chemical imbalances talking and they still had a chance to change back, so just keep a reign on it and hold the slag on.
OOC: Skip is fine!

OOC: This is me belatedly realizing that Hellbender being skippable means I am next in rotation.
Starscream narrows his optics at the two Autobot leaders, red lights constricting to pinpoints in their sockets. "If we'd captured one of your Autobots and implied they had no interest in returning, I doubt you'd take it at face value," he growls as he enters his own compartment, preventing further face-to-face communication with the other passengers until they arrive at their destination.
It should be noted he doesn't really care one way or the other about Rodimus being alive. (Not any more than he cares about any other high-ranking Autobot.) He just thinks the Matrix should be in Decepticon hands, since the Autobots are clearly not competent to use it properly.
OOC: Good with a skip.

[Time skip ahoy!]
Some time later, Donal Costigan makes an announcement.
"We're in the vicinity; I have the base on sonar. Something feels off, though."
Sharks circle each other outside, flaring pectoral fins and displaying them at each other. Feelings of dread and terror permeate the water, as the telempathic sharks try to terrorize rivals into fleeing their territories and potential mates.

"Pfffft," Wednesday replies to Rodney's teasing. "Not that sort of thing. The 'I blew up her helicopter, she tried to kill me, I punched her in the face' sort of thing."
He makes a weird face, then whispers conspiratorially, "Though I think she may have the creepy hots for me."
The reeeeally creepy hots.
-
Later, Wednesday finds the hairs on the back of his neck rising with the strange dread oozing from the mutant sharks. His heart races, pumping adrenalin through his human circulatory system, and he promptly bursts into a fit of giggles.

"Given what you guys already did to Springer? Damn straight I wouldn't," Rodney answers as he winces, the psychic effects of the sharks getting more noticeable. Should he still be in this conversation by the time they get to the sharks? Probably not, but if it makes things more interesting, to heck with it.
Of course, how is what the 'Cons did to Springer different than what the Autobots did to Hook? But no. They were putting Hook back to what he was before, undoing what the Decepticons of his reality did. That's what he tells himself, but does this rising feeling of dread suggest he doesn't believe it?
Or is it just the sharks?
"The sea life down here is... strange," Cavalier explains when Donal complains of something feeling off. "Superpowers without sapient minds to drive it, so everything's going to feel 'off'. We've just got to work through it - not much else to do."

"If their powers work on us... I wonder if our power work on them," Metatron reasons.
She presses her lips to one of the walls of the submarines, and she commands, "Leave."

Vortex thinks she’s developed a new loathing for sharks. Since the Combaticons didn’t live in the underwater base in his universe, she never really knew how sharks were actually like. Clearly sharks are just evil.
She will just sulk here and try not to kill everyone, or something. She also notes Xaaron saying something about powers and she casts a slightly paranoid glance at the squishified Autobot.

The artificial emotions the sharks are broadcasting intensify Starscream's pre-existing unease. He is, after all, in a submarine full of Autobots on his way to confront a powerful enemy.
He shifts uneasily in his compartment and seriously considers getting out and walking the rest of the way.

The sharks collectively flinch, and suddenly turn tail and flee. Startled by unexpected movement, a school of fish teleports past the sub. Some of them fail to clear the sub, carpeting the deck with flopping fish, which, one by one, teleport away.
Large stands of rooted sea worms appear, surrounding the undersea installation. There were none a few minutes ago.
"Ah have the main docking bay in sight. If Ah remember correctly, the main lock is flooded, so be ready to handle that."

Wednesday's giggles trail off as the sharky terror fades away, but he can't help snorting with laughter again at their brief visitation by fish. He attempts to catch one, only to have it vanish at the touch of his finger. "Heh. Metafishical experience."
He looks up at Donal's announcement. "Ready how?"

OOC: I am going to assume that there are deep-sea suits in this, because they did know that the hatch is flooded, after all.
Cavalier grins as Metatron chases away the sharks, and then sighs as the cabin fills with fish which then vanish. At Wednesday's question, he says, "Well, there are supposed to be deep sea suits on this thing..." He glances at Metatron. "Did you spot them on the way in, by chance?"
