"Hmph. Well enough. See that you do."
Starscream makes a sweeping gesture with his hand in response to Needlenose's statement about making a home. "We are Decepticons. We will impose our will on the world around us no matter where we are. It simply makes sense to see what state our homeworld is in before we move on to other conquests."

"Right, right," Needlenose says cheerfully. He tilts his head thoughtfully. "Anything else, Lord Starscream?"

Well, at least the plans to become masters of all the universes seem bumped off the track for now. Starscream at least had more sensible ambitions.
Upon Needlenose's inquiry if that was all, Mistwind startles. He had a question! He promptly thrusts a hand upwards, like a good obedient schoolboy. It's a few seconds before he realises that with his size, no-one is going to really notice that and that he would have to call for attention. What he wanted to ask should be asked though, so he gathers what courage that he can, takes a step forward that makes a little more noise than mechs would know him by, "Uhm... This one still has a question before this meeting concludes, Supreme Commander Starscream Sir! ... In... in case there are no more points to discuss, Sir?"

"No, nothing further, unless anyone has an issue to raise," Starscream replies.
And who said anything about not conquering the multiverse? Decepticons can't not conquer the universe. It's right there in the Decepticon Constitution.
The hulking jetformer levels his gaze on the smaller mech. "Yes, Mistwind?"

"Supreme Commander Starscream Sir" Mistwind acknowledges, "This one wants to ask whether it's possible to reuse parts of the things we're going to leave behind and... well..." he hesitates before forcing himself to continue, "ask engineering to build me a mobile battle mech? I- I hope I'm not being too bold by asking, Sir, a-and I wouldn't dare to compare myself to the warriors here..." He lowers his shoulders a little in submission, hoping no Decepticon is going to jump him for even thinking about this. "But if we can't go home and there are things here that can disable our forces as easily as it happened here on this planet... I don't want to find myself trying to play last line of defense throwing a pink plush toy in the face of whomever is trying to take over our base, Sir" That he also doesn't want an Autobot to shoot him because he's an easy kill is a thing he leaves unsaid. "I really like being able to help out the normal sized Decepticons with my alternate mode, and being small is an advantage for fuel... but... if we're going to resize Ship.... I'd really, really want to become a battle mech pilot, Supreme Commander Starscream Sir. If only for emergencies." Remember, Mistwind has seen complete transformers being build on this ship. How can he not ask? ---- Officially, Needlenose is directly after Starscream in the rotation, but both characters have no topics to bring in at the moment. To prevent Needlenose having to make an 'I'm waiting for things to be said' post (technically his 2nd one in a row) I hope it's okay to switch the order and have Mistwind ask his question first so players can make posts a bit more worthy of their time
Out of game request is currently being written. In game request was going to be made first.

"All righty, then!" Needlenose answers cheerfully, though he hesitates at Mistwind's question. He doesn't jump Mistwind or anything, though he does offer, "We could probably turn you into a gun!"
There's nothing wrong with being a gun! Lots of people are guns! Megatron was a gun!

Starscream looks down at Mistwind, gaze hard and unreadable, but inwardly he's pleased with the little mech. Always good to see a solider taking the initiative. Though he does basically want more power, which can be dangerous in a subordinate . . .
"You have my authorization to use your off-duty time to pursue this project. You'll have to pay for it out of your own rations or make what arrangements you can. Otherwise I have no objection."
Swindle, leaning against a wall, already figuring expenses on a datapad, looks up at the mention of weapons and paying for things. Someone is playing his song.
Starscream turns to look at Needlenose, facial plates contorting. "A practical option, though one I've never quite understood. My body is already a weapon," he says, holding up one taloned hand to shift effortlessly into a missile launcher, ready to rain fire from the sky, then just as quickly back into a hand with a gatling gun protruding from the wrist, "to turn it into a weapon for another to wield seems unseemly. I know Shockwave did not require a wielder in his alternate form, but it had a handle nonetheless, and your Megatron turned into an antique Earth pistol. For you to weild Nebulans as weapons is one thing, but for one of us to become a weapon to be used by a flesh creature . . . I don't like the symbolism." He pauses, retracting his weapon back into his arm. "Of course a vehicle needs a pilot, but that strikes me differently," he concludes, raising an eyeridge at the Double Targetmaster.
You didn't think you were going to talk about philosophy today, Needlenose, but it snuck up on you.

Mistwind bows incredibly low to show his gratitude, "Thank you, Supreme Commander Starscream Sir!". He'll have to find out how to start this project and who can help him, but at least he has permission to do so.*
He listens with mixed feelings to Needlenose's suggestion and Starscream's reaction, and feels his systems hitch when the commander continues on how it would be weird for one of them to turn into a weapon for someone to wield. For someone to use.... "..." His gaze lowers to the ground; in context with the addition on how a vehicle would need a pilot their discussion regards him up to a certain degree. That Starscream thinks that being a useable item is unseemly confuses Mistwind like nothing else. The mechs from his reality were build by Quintessons and meant as products. Cybertron functioned as a factory of planetary proportions. Mistwind has no complete control over his alternate mode while others can link up and use it realtime, making it extremely clear that it's meant to be used by someone else. Also, the little mech almost always refers to himself as military hardware instead of Decepticon.
With Starscream and Needlenose and between the lines every. Decepticon. not. currently. on. watch. here in the room, Mistwind understands perfectly well that the Supreme Commander is talking to the Mayhem and takes priority over any polite reply from a subordinate little jetpackformer. Convenient with a capital C.
* IC permission, that is. Waiting on OC email reply.

"Didn't say he should be used by flesh creatures!" Needlenose answers, still entirely too chipper. Although the Megatron of his reality was used by a flesh creature at least once (and that was a very weird situation). "But fair enough. The decision's between you and Mistwind, either way. I'm only here to stick my needle-nose in and make sure our happy little engineers don't get... too out of hand!"
He does notice Mistwind's down turn, but doesn't call attention to it. That would be rude. Also, maybe it's something he can use to his advantage later?

"Good. Decepticons, you are dismissed," Starscream orders, nodding to the assembled war machines.
OOC: Wrap, unless anyone has any other business?

Mistwind still keeps his head tilted downwards, but from beneath the rim of his helmet, he glances at Needlenose. There is the slightest hint of a shy but appreciative smile. Even if the Mayhem was probably looking to catch a Mistwind and put him in a pokeball to join Zigzag and Sunbeam thus forming a new brand of Triple Targetmasters™, Needlenose was comfortable with the concept of war machines as products. And he probably considered Mistwind of good enough base quality to weaponize. Is there a bigger compliment to be gotten at the moment?
Mistwind firms his stance to bring a military salute when Starscream ends the meeting, "Supreme Commander Starscream, Sir!" He then attempts to leave unless someone wishes to catch up to him.
----- Wrap is ok by me!

Needlenose can appreciate all sorts of things! Especially if they're trendy. He lifts his right hand, two fingers extended, and gives Starscream a far more casual salute than his rank really calls for. "Yessir."
OOC: I'm good with wrapping.
