What the hell did Proboard do to itself? They've added a bunch of social network crap and gamer crap I don't give a flying fragfest about, and our custom buttons are gone, and our beautiful custom logo is gone, and we have this hideous shit-brown banner instead.
ADMINS, PLEASE FIX THE UGLY!
Also, I can't find the 'New Posts' button; it seems to have vanished with the horrible downgrade.

The New Posts button is at the bottom of the page now.
I am ill-pleased with this change on ProBoards's part. Seriously, it is fug, and I miss our custom banner. It had the show's logo! D:

*pokes at it* Iiiiiiii do not want to fudge with stylesheets and such for this. It looks like it kept all of our colors, it just... added beveling and crap.
(Apparently they don't realize that when even Microsoft has dumped beveling, beveling no longer means 'new and shiny')

Okay, the worst part about all this is that we have about a gazillion themes (intended to let players pick visually different themes for each character), and now in order to change something in one theme (such as the stupid shiny banner at the top), I have to change it in all.
So. Let me know what you guys consider ESSENTIAL changes and I'll... try to get around to them (so... hopefully they aren't TOO essential).

Oh hey, the change fixed the top-of-thread board links blending into the background tilesets, friggin' sweet. And mousing over them gives dropdowns, double-sweet.

Logo is back! Yay!
I don't care a lot about the rest, as long as the logo is there. You know, it'd be like having a club or something and someone suddenly rips the sign off of the building's frontside.

WHOA HOLD THE PHONE
Look at the bottom-right of the screen, there's three little icons there - click the one that looks like two people, it'll take you to a page where you can link all your accounts together, and basically serves as an account-switcher a la LJLogin! THIS IS AWESOME.

I have linked my accounts and still do not care for this new format. It is bad and I hate it. Um, not that that is meant to pressure the admins to fix it. Just chiming in.

Em, I'm not a good source for decisiveness on themes. I use nearly all of them (including the Proboards default) to differentiate between accounts. I think the only two I haven't touched are Constructicon and… the test theme? I vote for whatever's easiest, though if it relies on CSS, I might be able to pick the brains of some acquaintances who use the stuff regularly and try learning a thing or two. If it'll help.

The problem is less with what it calls for, and more that universal adjustments call for going through every single theme and applying them individually.
Aside from certain automatically universal changes, like bringing back that logo.

Can you do something about the giant rectangular turd at the top of my screen? Changing my forum theme doesn't seem to change that, nor can I change the unlovely shade of brown edging all the panels.

That's... something that calls for changing every single theme. Unfortunately, it's actually our old color scheme, only how New Proboards seems to see it.

I dunno how high-priority this is, but I just noticed that there's a little thumbs-up on posts and I dunno how keen we are on a return of up-voting posts after getting rid of it before.
