This is a single, consolidated thread to replace all the previous stickies for this forum, save for the New Character announcement thread. Most of the information is being directly cut and pasted over.

Hello, and welcome to the Deadzone.
Deadzone is a multiverse Transformers RPG where the Transformers have found themselves stranded on an abandoned planet. They have no idea how they got there or to how to get back to their home timelines, but their enemies are present and scheming.
For more information, plus the application process, please visit our wiki at deadzone.pbwiki.com/ .
There's not much here yet, but look for the addition of place descriptions soon on the Mystery Planet. These will be the potential starting locations of all characters. What happens once they wake up, however, is up to all of you. The moderators have a few ideas of things to throw at the player-base, but the future is as yet unwritten.
We look forward to watching it unfold!

A brief reminder for any newcomers and guests visiting our board: this game is a moderated, application only RPG. While we currently have nothing in place preventing the creation of new accounts, we ask that any board member who lacks a moderator-approved character to restrict their posts to the OOC area of the board until they have completed the application process.
If an unapproved character posts in the IC area, first their post will be removed and they will receive a polite warning via PM. Second offense will result in account deletion.
Should we begin to get a large number of people unable to follow these guidelines, we will restrict account creation to mod-only, and they will be created upon the application approval.
Thank you.

Deadzone's Wikipedia can be found here.
Part of the Wiki is character profiles for all of the played characters in the game. You can find them under either their home timeline section (Emirate Xaaron is linked at the bottom of the Marvel comics file) or under the Autobot and Decepticon sections in the Library Data. These character profiles are there for your ooc reference.
I'll fill out your profiles mainly based on the application we receive for the character. If you're playing a canon character, I will also include your toy tech spec. If you're playing an original character, well, you wrote the tech spec as part of your application.
If you have a picture you'd like us to post with your profile, please PM me a link to it. We ask that they not be larger than 200x200 pixels.

First off, no one has messed up. (I would break out Evil Xaaron for that.) In fact, we like to see such enthusiasm!
Anyway, it has been a sort of informal rule that we pose in rounds. So if the order is A, B, C, and you are C, you do not post until B has gone. Make sense?
We do this so that people don't get skipped overly often and feel left out.
Now, say you are C. B hasn't posted for two days. You can go ahead and skip B and make your post, no worries.
Also, if a player comes out and says s/he can be skipped a bit, that's cool, too.
Game on folks. I hope you enjoy yourselves.

Hello! I am "SceneMod." I am not an actual character. There is no OC from any Transformers universe named SceneMod (at least, not as far as I know). No, this account was created as a way for moderators to inject things - extra information, complications, etc - into the middle of a scene. This way, if the background, the world, basically, needs to respond to something a character does, and one of the mods has a good idea what the response is, we don't have to wait until the admin's character comes back up around in the turn-order.
I have no place in any thread's turn-order, but can insert responses as necessary. Once I've responded, any turn-cycle continues in its normal manner. I do not, however, control everything that does not relate to the PCs; you guys have done a wonderful job of adding little tidbits and locations to the game world, and we don't want that to stop just because this account has been created. This account is a tool to supplement what's already in place; it replaces nothing.
Thank you, and game-on.
