Hook's goals for this attack are deceptively complex to the untrained optic.
1) Use liberated mining explosives and Stunticons to destroy the power-receiving station immediate to Autobot base. 2) Invade the Autobot base, reach Medical, and unleash Engineering Scourge to cause havoc. Cause havoc himself. Torment whoever is standing by as the medical engineer. Cause further structural damage that has not already been caused on their way back out. 3) Find Long Haul, cosh him over the head, and carry him back to the Decepticon base to be fixed.
But, really, they're remarkably easy to-understand-goals if one looks at things from the right perspective. Destroy the supply line, destroy the repair point, rescue the prisoner-of-war. Any combat engineer could tell you this was the right way to run a battle. Or, at least, the not-wrong way.
"Keep a sharp optic out," he warns the two Stunticons. "Mirage's maps think there's a trap between here and there."
A trap that the Stunticons are likely to run into first, because Hook isn't going to do something silly like drive between the mechs with forcefields and the mechs shooting.
Hopefully, Mixmaster will join him, but if not, he expects his gestalt-mate to cause quite enough havoc for other people. Hopefully their enemies.

The black Ferrari that is Wildrider cackles with anticipation. "Trap schmap! I just hope it makes a loud explosion when I plow into it!"
He's already taken off, his headlight lasers making random pock marks in the walls as he goes. It's more or less in the direction of where Hook wants him to go, only he's weaving about to cause as much destruction as he possibly can as he does.

Mixmaster resents that last remark. The only havoc he will be causing today will be to the Autobots...unless someone just happens to wander in range, but anything resulting from that is most certainly Not His Fault.
The chuckles from the cement mixer hadn't quite died down as he pulled up behind Hook.
"Traps, Hook?" He giggled, "are our honorable, upstanding Autobots really resorting to underhanded tactics-tactics, now?" He pauses and his tone changes subtly, almost too subtle a change to detect, "whatever is the world coming to?"
Yes, he remembers the Autobots forcing Devastator's obediance; no he hasn't let it go yet.

Scourge has never been quite so pleaded with Hook as he is right now. He's getting a chance to use his special qualities! Havoc is always fun, oh so very fun. Scourge is almost giddy. Almost. He follows along behind the Constructicon, running through a checklist of the best things to, ah, employ.
Scourge most certainly approves of Hook's plan to use the Stunticons to disable traps. Let those most likely to survive direct combat go first and draw the fire, so that the more fragile 'cons, like himself, can safely get to the fun. And, oh, fun this will be.

The Decepticon's resident cowardly hovercraft comes speeding along the road, taking up place safely behind the Construticons so as to limit his chance at running into traps.
Of course, Shortround has a plan. Namely, he plans to break away from the group at the first sighting of a toy store. But until then, he keeps his turret twitching a bit, ready to fire it at anything that takes him by surprise.

"Spinister seems to think the current Autobot leader is rather... Decepticon-ly. Of course, Spinister is also constantly surprised that no one has tried to usurp command yet." Spinister is a little strange.
If Wildrider wants to plow into traps, that's not Hook's problem. Wildrider has forcefields for a reason, and he's perfectly capable of reading maps himself. Well, the Constructicon is just guessing about the second part.
"Hmm. Mixmaster, spin us something like napalm for later use." This is also thinking like a combat engineer. Use the explosives or use the flame-thrower....
Combat engineers get the best decisions sometimes.

Hidden behind cover and just out of sight, is Wheelie, recently returned from his sewer flooding adventure. Sadly, neither of the Decepticons he really wants to attack are here, but he's more than willing to make do.
For now, though, it's a simple plan, one that had worked on Quintesson guards and sharkticons numerous times in the past. Shoot one, move to a totally different spot, shoot another, repeat. Never let them see where you're coming from.
Pulling out his slingshot, he lobs a firerock at Shortround. Take the weakest out first, then work your way up.

After dodging around an enraged Dinobot and hurtling out of a collapsing building, Dead End found himself in an alley alone. Shortly thereafter, Hook's order caught up with him, and Dead End rolled up on the tail-end of the Constructicon/Stunticon party, his radar strobing over the immediate area.
Hmm, someone is firing projectiles at their little task force from cover. How rude! Dead End deployed his trunk-mounted lasers and fired toward Wheelie.

Demolishor, rumbling along slowly in tank mode, makes his way down the street towards Hook. He sets his sights on Shortround and picks up speed, reckoning that between them they can hold down the whatever.
"Hey." The tank doesn't bother with more formality than nudging Shortround in the back with his treads and swiveling around to see who's shooting at them now.

Wildrider can indeed read maps, the trick is getting him to pay attention to them. But for now he seems to be making his way towards the mark. Through as many walls as possible, mind you.
"HAAAA HA HAA!"
He's either ignorant or indifferent to the fact that his fellow Decepticon is under fire.

Mixmaster perks up as noticeably as a mixing truck can at Hook's order.
"Right away, Hook!"
The chemist settled slightly lower over his wheels as he pondered the task, occasional mutterings filtering into empty space. New ideas spun his drum as he applied them.
The new arrivals came without notice. At least until the attack.
That annoyed him. The solution was still unstable, which meant he couldn't transform or leave it alone, which also meant he couldn't attack just yet.
Unless...
Mixmaster cackled happily and brought his chemical gun to bear, aiming at where the last attack came from. He fired twice, saving the rest to continue his work after the danger had passed.
Unstable and questionably tampered with napalm-like substance. Fly!

Oh, so his allies are being fired upon? Yawn. Scourge has much bigger things to be thinking about, like what to test on these Autobots and how to get proper data as to the results. Worse case scenario, he'll just have to test again. The little scientist lets out a disturbing laugh.
If whoever be out there gets close enough, or threatens Scourge personally, he will taste Scourge's sword and the experimental solution thereupon. Until that point, Scourge will continue his merry hike.

Shortround would try not to panic. But then a red hot rock hits him dangerously close to the intake fans. Throwing caution to the wind, he speeds up to nearly his full speed and turns sharply, before turning off both of his turbines, firing his plasma rifle in the rough direction of the attacker...
Unfortunately, Shortround appears to have forgotten his lack of brakes and his general ability to slide across the ground while he still has his intake fans going. And as such, Shortround slides away from the group and right into...
A pit trap. The ground beneath him falls away, dropping the hovercraft down into the sewers amid a pile of rubble. This wouldn't be so bad, if it wasn't for the fact Shortround landed in a now somewhat flooded sewer upside down, eliminating any possibility of being able to hover along and instead just sinking to the bottom
//... I think I found a pit trap// he transmits, before transforming. Now how is he going to get out of this mess...
OOC: And Shortround is out of this topic/stuck in the sewers for now

Well isn't this a lovely parade.
Two Stunticons and two Constructicons if she was identifying teams right, then some tank she didn't recognize and a small...bug? It looked like the hovercraft had taken himself out of the equation, but that still left a lot more people behind then was probably a good idea to be confronting with what looked like just one other person. So she got to be very careful, because letting them just wander around probably wasn't smart either.
So then, harass and distract. With that in mind she abruptly darted out of the alley she had been hiding in, making a beeline directly for Hook as fast as she can and not lose a significant amount of accuracy.
While one hand reaches out to try and snatch at his hook, the other swipes at the line connecting it to him so that if she connects, one claw after another drags across it, ending with the heavier blade in her wrist hopefully biting the rest of the way through. Whether or not she manages to accomplish her minor bit of thievery, she doesn't stop to gloat or even pause to take in the reactions of the others there as she roars her thrusters and takes off down the alley across from the one she had been originally hiding in as fast as she can. Momentary rush of slightly crazy boldness or not, she wasn't going to stick around to trade punches, she knew who would lose that fight.

//Demolishor, go make yourself useful and get Long Range back up.//
And then Shortround randomly panics, plows through the front of the convoy, and finds the pit trap Hook has been warning people about. Is his entire division defective?
Before Hook can continue on that line of thought, someone fast and agile zips by, snags his hook, and shears through his line, before dashing off with his hook in hand.
The crane just splutters. //My hook! KILL HIM WITH FIRE!//
