"And that's for impersonating me, you blasted grill-cracked, axel-shattered, diode-blown bootleg of a sneak," Kup growls as he stands over the unconscious hound, holding the heavy rock he had used to knock the other unconscious. His armor is blackened and burnt from over-exposure to the dark flames, his expression twisted into one of fury.
He lifts the rock above his head once more, and with a feral scream, throws it downward, atop the unconscious Mirage. Then, leaving Mirage for the dead, he stumbles a few feet further to the clash before falling to his knees and watching.
Rodimus looks like he has this under control, but Kup's here just in case... and to make sure no one else gets in the bloody way.

Rodimus hisses in pain as Scourge's hand clamps down tight on his, his optics narrowing reflexively, but he does not let go. Then, his face falls to sorrow and he looks down when Scourge begged that he be wiped. "I... I can't," he says. This is not to say he is emotionally unable to - he literally can't. That's not one of his abilities. But to even be asked is chilling enough, a cool spike of fear against the burning hot black flames.
Still, his efforts seem to be working... seem to have worked. He can feel his alternate weakening as the Matrix is cut off, and as he weakens, the black flames grow smaller, fade... and eventually vanish entirely.
Rodimus cycles his cooling intakes once, twice, in the dim light of the fading day. Then, once he's prepared himself, he once more opens the pathways and pulls... forces his alternate into the Matrix as he once did to Unicron, turning what was once the Dark Prime's greatest tool into his ultimate prison. For a moment, the black flames burst forth once more, a last, desperate bid for the sky, for freedom, and then they die.
He kneels amidst the bodies - the dead body of his alternate, the shattered husk of Midnight, the charred remains of Scourge, and it is obvious he did not get through this untouched, either. Paint peeled, metal melted and recooled, hinges charred, he hardly looks a 'Red Knight' now. No, just some tired old mech with barely the strength to keep from collapsing.
Still, with great effort, he manages two small words over the unblocked, general frequency.
//It's over.//

Sorry for not posting this last round, but Starscream-1 is definitely out of thread. Also: Rodimus posing done with player permission.
The Gray F-15 that crashed into the ground comes to and transforms just in time to see the last of the black flames flicker and dwindle into nothing. The husk of his foe is fallen, at the hand of his more noble counterpart, but not at a cost. Starscream can ill afford to mourn if there are still enemies on the battlefield. This is not a time to celebrate or mourn, it's a time to make sure that no more fall than are necessary.
To that end Starscream makes his way to Rodimus, picking him up and supporting his weight as he makes their way to safety. Quietly, he says, "Thank you."

Scourge feels like slag warmed over, to be perfectly frank, with an emphasis on warmed over.
He feels like he has a fever.
But he can think again, and it's wonderful.
Scourge says shakily but sincerely, "Thanks, kid."

Stalker has long since snapped out of the control of the flames, however he still appears to be watching over the crater.
This is a lie, he's actually checking his internal fuel levels. And unfortunately for him, he's spent too much. He's terribly fuel inefficient, and so, the first thing to go is his jamming. The rocket moves from his shoulder to his back, and he woozily stands up. He won't be able to jam anything more today until he gets some more fuel into him, which is now his first priority.
Stalker transforms into his tank mode and heads off on the long trail back to the Decepticon base. No sense mourning over lost opportunities, surely something will happen in the future to let him have some more fun...

Part of Rodimus Prime can't believe he's leaning on Starscream, any Starscream, for assistance. Most of him is too exhausted to care. However, Shockwave's words over the general frequency remind him of something: the other Matrix. After all the trouble he went through to imprison his alternate there, he can't just leave it to be grabbed up by... by... whomever.
Now resisting Starscream's attempt to lead him off the battlefield, though still likely leaning against him for support, Rodimus turns back in time to catch Scourge's thanks. The worn smile he returns is genuine. "Glad to see you're back to yourself," he chuckles. The good humor fades quickly, though, as his optics drift to the body of his alternate, then up again, towards the alternate Kup, who even now is trying to make his way towards them.
"I spoke prematurely, though," he murmurs grimly as his gaze then shifts towards Emirate Xaaron, and he radios the other for advice.
"This isn't over."

Oh thank Sigma--Scourge is back. Starscream sighs in relief. When Rodimus starts to resist, Starscream pauses. "What is it? What is needed to be done?" And what can he do to help?

Kup should be old enough to know you always confirm the kill, never assume. But one can't fault the old-timer too much; it is a bit hard to keep up with just how best to kill so many different versions of a Transformer.
Mirage was only mostly dead; however there is no Miracle Maximus about to create a chocolate-coated energon pill to bring him back to life. Pure stubbornness is what drives the beaten hound to drag himself the short distance to his master's body, to prop himself up and steady his rifle upon his bended knee as best he can with one hand.
Even with one hand, he's still the best shot standing (sitting?) on this field, and he'll be damned if anyone is picking anything out of his Prime's chest. That other...he took Rodimus' death from Mirage, but the hound's master isn't truly dead, he's not even mostly dead. That has to be true. It has to be, or Mirage might as well have burnt with the husk he now guards.

That fever's not going away. Maybe it'll be with him forever. He played with fire, and he got burned. Stupid Scourge. Why'd he have to stick his neck out, anyway?
His gaze drifts over to the body of the fallen Prime, and notes, "That thing," everyone should know what he means - the Matrix, "belongs under lock and key. Here, let me get it out."

Kup - not the one that just conked Mirage on the head, but an entirely different Kup, a much shinier Kup - jobs up. He attempts to move towards Mirage and the body of his Prime, and his acid rifle is out, though he knows he has little hope against a crowd this powerful.
"That thing," he says lowly, though his voice isn't so gruff as his alternate's, "belongs with the Autobots, as it always has. Our Autobots."

"Damnitall," growls Kup as the guy he just conked out sneaks past him, anyway. He lifts his musket towards the spy, then switches direction to turn it towards his alternate as he comes up.
"Scourge is right!" he growls, moving in towards Rodimus and Starscream as he keeps his weapon trained on the alternate Autobots. "It needs to be locked up." A quick glance at the live Prime. "Just give the word, lad."
He doesn't think to stop Scourge from trying to grab it.

"The Matrix," says Rodimus Prime, answering Starscream's question. "Your reality's. It needs to be taken care of." And, indeed, even while they are only coming to that realization, the artifact proves that it can still cause trouble, as Mirage and the alternate Kup show their faces and arm their weapons. Rodimus, still being supported by Starscream, raises one arm to point his exhaust pipes towards the alternate Autobots. Then he sees that those pipes are melted closed, so he painfully lets go of Starscream, managing, shakily, to hold himself upright, and lifts the other arm instead. Those pipes are still in-tact.
Ignoring the 'good' Kup for the moment, he speaks. "Now, let's think this through. You two are outnumbered and outgunned. Surrender, and things will go better for you. Don't, and I will shoot you both where you stand."

Starscream reluctantly lets Rodimus stand on his own. When Rodimus issues the ultimatum, he raises his own arm-mounted cannon at 'his' Mirage, with his off-hand. "I just dare you to turn invisible, Mirage." If the Autobot so much as flickers, Starscream will fire a null-ray, full charge.
He's not even going to dignify the request that it be returned to the Autobots with a response. There is no way he is going to allow it to be handed to them, and it seems as if Rodimus agrees with him. But what about the alternative? Whatever it might be, it will wait until these two are dealt with.
Starscream almost feels bad for himself that there is a part of him wanting Mirage to flinch. Almost.

Mirage watches as things unfold, listens to the two Kup’s declarations and the Prime and Starscream’s ultimatums. Do they honestly think he cares at this point what might they can do to him? All they can do is kill him, and if truth be told, Mirage is dead already.
“I can’t shift, Starscream,” he says matter-of-factly, “That rusty old bastard packs a wallop and he crushed a good chunk of my vital operating systems. I’m just stubborn.” He coughs, “Though my continued functioning might have something to do with how many times Rodimus almost killed me and brought me back, I suppose.” Mirage fixes the living Prime with a glare, “You took him- took his death- from me.”
His optics move to Scourge then and Mirage chuckles, “Got a taste for it, did you, Scourge? Is it calling to the Optimus in you? He liked that body of yours quite a bit, he did.” He keep his gaze on Scourge, but directs this next to Rodimus, “What do you think, Prime? Can someone with such mongrel origins hold the Matrix, carry it’s rather hefty burdens?” Mirage makes a point of stressing that plural. Hard.

Hmm, what do we have here? Two Kups, a Mirage, a dead Prime and a live one, and a blackened figure that somewhat resembles Optimus Prime.
The live Prime would be his own Rodimus Prime and the dead the demon. One of the Kups is evil and the other is good. The Mirage is likely evil. The Optimus Prime-looking fellow is probably the good Scourge.
One Kup is a lot shinier than the other Kup. Hmm.
On the outskirts, as he approaches at an ambling walking pace, cripple that he is, Emirate Xaaron kneels and selects a jagged piece of meteoric metal. Then, he straightens, winds his arm back, and flings it at the back of the shinier Kup's head. His aim is horrible. He'll probably miss. However, a rock whizzing past one's head tends to be attention-getting.
