Apparently Megatron isn't the only Decepticon that can fly. But why did that strange maroon-coloured one not fly?
Prime pulls one last time, hoping to knock Hellbender against the boulder. Unfortunately this distracts him from the other Decepticon. He catches the shot from Eye-Fire on his shoulder, leaving a visible blast wound.
It should be obvious to someone with as keen an optic as Eye-Fire that this Prime is beaten up pretty badly already, and the shoulder wound isn't going to help things.

When he turns around, Hellbender discovers that there's a red-and-blue Autobot attached to the other end of the line yanking at his back. Must be the Optimus Prime that Misfire was fighting. From the look of him, Misfire gave back at least some of what he got--a fact that Hellbender latches onto to silence the momentary quailing at the back of his CPU. This is Optimus Fraggin' Prime! What the slag am I doing taking him on myself!
Eye-fire's blast surprises Hellbender when it blows a chunk of Prime's shoulder away; red optics narrow slightly. This Optimus Prime isn't nearly as tough as the Prime that laid out Megatron and half the Decepticons at Autobot City.
The sudden yank pulls hard at the line now wrapped round his body; Hellbender staggers forward, his knees clanging against the boulder; the Prime is strong. How strong? Well, a line has two ends...
"Ah think maybe you hooked the wrong fish, son," Hellbender says as he grabs the line with both hands, braces himself firmly against the ground and the boulder, and yanks back with all his immense, Dinobot-grade strength.
"Eye-fire, 'less this here Prime feller comes up with some big guns, Ah think Ah can handle him fer now. Find Misfire quick as you can!" Hellbender says.

"Got it Hellbender." Eye-Fire responds, transforming into his robot mode so as to get a better look at the landscape and hopefully find Misfire in a reasonable space of time. He really, really hopes Misfire isn't out for the count, what with Eye-Fire's inability to carry anything heavy due to his weak little sniper wrists.
Spotting Misfire, Eye-Fire notices much to his chagrin that he's preety near to Prime. Moving closer to try and pick him up, Eye-Fire can only hope that Hellbender can keep him busy.

Optimus is thrown bodily over the boulder. He was taken completely by surprise by the might of this Decepticon! He tries to turn this momentum to his favour by thrusting both his feet out into a kick at Hellbender.
Whether he connects or misses, his next step is going to be to draw his axe.

Though Aimless has kept himself tucked out of sight, that doesn't mean he hasn't been paying attention. When Eye-Fire reaches Misfire, Aimless takes advantage of the distraction to dart out of his hidey hole. He leaps and transforms, neatly attaching to Misfire's rather battered hip. At least he won't have to worry about getting left behind.
Still skippable. Blanket permission to handle Misfire/Aimless as needed to get them out of there.

Hellbender is surprised that the Optimus Prime comes flying along so easily; Optimus's feet slam into his strangely curved, interlocking body armor with a loud double-clang. Hellbender stumbles back half a pace--
//The Prime has reached the crater.// radios Shockwave.
--and jabs at Optimus's face with his left fist, hard. On his other arm the evil spiky metal rotary toothbrushes Of Doom mounted on his elbow and forearm whirr to life; Hellbender twists that arm and pulls the grapple cable toward one of the cutters; in seconds, it will be severed.
"Ah'd like to stay and learn you something 'bout fighting Decepticons, but Ah got mah orders, and you get off lucky. Fer now. Try me again later when you get a bit more flight-time on your engines." The muzzle of his shoulder-mounted gun glows menacingly.
// Yes sir. Guess this here greenhorn Optimus Prime just got off lucky. Ah'll go grab Misfire--Eye-fire already spotted him for me, // Hellbender replies to Shockwave.
------ OOC: If OP and Hellbender are physically separated as a result of his punch connecting or OP evading it, Hellbender will try to disengage. If OP is climbing on him and trying to hack pieces out of him with an axe, things will go differently.

As Eye-Fire is about to bend down and try and haul Misfire and Aimless out of here, he gets an order from Shockwave. Quickly turning, he lifts up out of the canyon and away from it, hoping that Hellbender can get free from the Prime and rescue Misfire and Aimless in his stead.
Aimless is probably not going to be very happy about this, but then neither would Eye-Fire be if he wasn't prepping himself for sniping a demon.

Axe is out, and--"Uhnn!" Optimus gets knocked back from Hellbender's punch. He's almost going to hit the boulder when, well, the line goes taut and he falls on the ground.
The grapple line auto-retracts as Hellbender makes his departure. Still gripping his axe, Optimus plays possum* until he's certain that Hellbender isn't coming back. Then, wearily, he gets up. He's beaten up and dented, but he can still stand, and that means he will still do his part. However, it's clear to him that fighting the enemy here and now isn't the best use of his resources. For now he conceals himself as best he can whilst trying to find out what these two are up to.
*Not that he knows what a possum is...

The greenhorn Prime doesn't seem inclined to jump on Hellbender and start swinging just yet, so the big shell-former pivots on one foot and strides away, toward Misfire. It looks like Eye-fire has already cleared the area, no doubt in response to his orders from Lord Shockwave, so that leaves just Hellbender to salvage the unfortunate Misfire.
It bothers him a bit to leave a still-functional enemy lurking behind him, but Hellbender is needed for bigger prey, and it would bother him a lot more to leave a helpless comrade to a still-functional enemy. In spite of his power, hot temper and combativeness, Hellbender has a big streak of what some Decepticons would sneer at as 'sentimentality'.
Hellbender doesn't see it that way. It's part and parcel of his loyalty; as to those above, so below. Loyalty to his commander, loyalty to his comrades; his builder had tweaked his personality through more than a few iterations, making sure that his immense power and durability would always be an asset, not a weapon turned against the Decepticons.
As he stoops and picks up Misfire, checking to make sure that his little gun-person Aimless is securely attached, Hellbender doesn't think of all that. He simply knows that you don't abandon your comrades, and you back them up, and they back you up. (And if they don't--well, Hellbender hates traitors and deserters with a passion for good reason. They get good soldiers destroyed.)
// Hellbender here. Ah got Misfire and the little gun-guy; incoming to repair depot, // he radios on the D-band.
Once Misfire is securely in his arms, Hellbender flies off to deliver him to the Decepticon repair depot...

With patience, Optimus waits until the Decepticons have departed with one of their own. Once he's convinced the coast is clear, he quickly but carefully makes his way out of the canyon before initiating a painful transformation into vehicle mode and taking off.
