"Same here," Rodimus agrees with Glyph, a good-natured smirk pulling up the right corner of his lips. It's a bit of an oddity - he needs periodic action of some sort, because he really does bore easily, but he doesn't actually enjoy the violence like Hot Rod had.
"The Quintessons have already managed to make some sort of transforming robot even here," Rodimus points out to Mirage. "They've got the Sharkticons, after all."
To Sentinel, he recites a lineage that he could repeat while in defrag. "The first was Prima, then Prime Nova, then Sentinel Prime, then Optimus Prime. I... can't always be certain what comes from where, and often the knowledge I have just... feels a part of me, but I do know that they've all helped at times." Implied is yes, even Optimus.
He chooses not to explain Buster or the Quintesson General Ghyrik, mostly because he doesn't particularly feel like going into that, but partially because they are only 'echos', not the actual beings themselves. Not everyone who's ever touched the Matrix leaves themselves or pieces of themselves behind, but, like the Primes, both Buster and Ghyrik actually drew from the Matrix and so the Matrix drew from them. Unicron and his own dark alternate go unmentioned for entirely different reasons.

"I never saw them transform. They just seemed like dim-witted attendants, typical muscle to me," Mirage reminds, "So, you're saying that the attendants I saw were the same things to which the Quintesson attempted to feed Sentinel? I don't really understand their... fascination with our species, or robots in general."
He casts a sympathetic glance at Glyph. He can understand the girl's sentiment. He really can.
Sentinel's radio question makes the spy sigh inwardly. So, along with being an assassin, he's supposed to be a thief, too? He's fallen so far....
//Good enough, yes. But not good enough to steal for mere personal gain, so perhaps you should give me a bit more details.//

Sentinel Prime has wanted to be a soldier ever since he knew that the concept meant, and if he's ever perfectly honest with himself, he has to admit that he doesn't want to see the front lines ever again.
At least, not until he's sure he has a handle on it. No repeats of that mess with Starscream. Or any of the other messes.
Sentinel Prime gives what he hopes comes off as a sympathetic nod to Glyph, and he starts to say, "It's pretty impressive that you-"
The world will never know what flattery Sentinel Prime was about to attempt. Rodimus Prime has completely derailed Sentinel Prime from anything sensible. He falls off the sofa and onto the floor, only catching himself because he has nearly hardwired fall routines after all the tumbles he's taken. From the floor, he stares up at Rodimus Prime, drawing a complete mental blank.
There is another him, who is dead, who is trapped in Rodimus Prime's chest, to forever serve as his adviser, stuck with a dead Optimus and some other guys. A Sentinel Prime that Emirate Xaaron didn't even bother mentioning in his history summary. Not another him, not really, just a namesake, but...
What.
Sentinel Prime will get back to Mirage on knocking over a casino when his uncreative, acid-washed, half-disabled processors have finally made sense of what Rodimus just said.

Glyph is glad that there's some sympathy!
However, before she can respond, Sentinel Prime starts to compliment here, then finds himself in the floor after Rodimus mentioned another Sentinel Prime. She's not so shocked, given the whole bit about differences in the Primes back home from Primes in other universes.
She lowers her brochure and starts to stand as a reaction, but says nothing.

"Well, they're semi-robotic themselves," Rodimus explains to Mirage, "and tend to find robotic worlds most easily habitable. At least back home they did." The young Prime's tone is casual, but his words may suggest something a bit more ominous. They should.
And then Sentinel Prime falls over.
Rodimus's optics widen. "Hey! Are you okay?" he asks, closing the distance and coming down on one knee, reaching towards Sentinel to make sure the other Autobot is all right, and perhaps even help him back up.

Mirage does not try and help Sentinel. Rodimus has that covered, and really, it isn't as if the blue Prime is actually hurt. He's just flabbergasted.
Perhaps Mirage should mention his own Sentinel Prime, and how he went willingly to be slaughtered by Megatron.
The spy shifts in his seat, waiting for the melodrama to be over.

Sentinel Prime accepts Rodimus Prime's help up. He should be touch-shy, after the torture in the asylum, but getting to lord being helped up by Rodimus Prime over Mirage seems good. Sentinel Prime gives Rodimus a weak smile and explains, "Sorry, sir, it's just... every time I hear about one of my alternates, I'm dead! I mean, he's dead. I just don't... I don't know what to make of it."
He rubs the back of his helmet, looking rather embarrassed.

Glyph settles back in her seat, going back to her work. She supposes she'd have a similar reaction to if someone told her she should be dead in another universe.
Thankfully, those characters who would tell her that aren't allowed in the game!

Rodimus straightens, making sure that Sentinel is good to stand on his own before he steps back and winces, than nods. "Well... in most realities, there's only one Prime at a time, and... we've got people pulled from different spots in time, sure, but most seem to be from around only a couple of different timeframes." He rubs the back of his head. "I mean, while I've heard about a couple of other Rodimuses... Rodimii? usually when I hear about an alternate, he's a reckless kid. Not... quite as bad as your situation, I know," he admits, then he spreads his hands apart.
"Sorry. I don't know what to make of it, either."

//Hmmm, interesting challenge that. And we are attempting this why?//
"My own Sentinel died a noble- if in my opinion unnecessary- death. While other Sentinel's are similar to mine, you are nothing at all like my own Sentinel, so I'd not be too bothered about universal constants," Mirage says, smirking slightly.
"And like Rodimus says, we normally only have one Prime at a time, since the Prime is the Matrix-bearer," he frowns, "I... can't recall a time when the Matrix was passed on due to choice and not death. Rodimus?"

Sentinel Prime accepts the help Rodimus Prime is willing to give him in standing and then takes a step away. He notes absently, "My reality has a Rodimus Prime. Good Autobot." Would have made a fine Elite Guard Commander if Sentinel had ever become Magnus! And if he'd ever gotten over that case of Cosmic Rust.
He squints at Mirage and his veiled insinuations. Frag that spy and the spaceship he rode in on. Sentinel Prime will be a better Sentinel Prime than any of them! Starting with no unnecessary deaths. He explains, //Because we can't just let them keep doing that they're doing, and if we hit them in the pocketbook, the locals will get torqued off when they can't cash out. If we just blow the place up, the cons'll just collect the insurance money, laughing. Also, I bet you've noticed we're docked at the worst space station here. How fast can you say, 'money issues'?//
"Right, so... how about those Quintessons?"

Glyph just stares as Sentinel Prime derails back into Quintessons, then shrugs, looking back at her project.
"They've got a tricky tongue is all I know so far..." Though her statement is rhetorical, mostly.

That is a bit of a topic whiplash, isn't it?
"Largely scavengers where I'm from," Rodimus says with a scowl. "Followed along behind Unicron and picked at his remains. Sometimes they'd turn to conquest - mostly interested in robotic worlds. Here apparently they're both of those, merchants, and scientists besides. Robots get warned not to vacation in their territory around here." He leans against the edge of the couch and looks at the others. "Aren't we nearing talked-out on the topic, though?"

//Mmm, yes. I have noticed. It's a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Very well. I will assist. What role do you wish me to play?//
"Actually, I do think the topic is played out, but it was a fine non sequitur none the less."
Mirage gives Glyph a dazzling smile, "Tricky, perhaps, but no match for you skills I'm sure. Please, do let me know what I can do to repay this favor."
For a few moments, he toys with the arm of the couch, then asks, "By the by Sentinel, is there a Mirage in your reality? I can't recall if you've mentioned before."

Sentinel Prime didn't need to picture the cute little cunning linguist trying the tricky tongues of the Quintesson in an in-depth, probing study, but he does.
Oh great, so Mirage will deign to grace Sentinel Prime with his presence. //Just get the credits out. Got someone else to worry about security, but if that bot fails, I'm sure you can cope on your own.//
Frak Mirage. Frak Mirage and his snide little comments about non sequiteurs when Sentinel Prime was just trying to get the topic to stop being about Sentinel Prime! He lays his antennae back, lips curled a bit, and he explains, "Oh yes. Mirage is old. He's a veteran of the war. Very shady. Cliffjumper doesn't trust him. Known political agitator. Cares more about Decepticons than his own people. But you're nothing like him, Mirage."
Sentinel Prime's being very uncharitable, and he knows it, but Mirage has done nothing but push his buttons since he got here.
