Rodimus looks rather surprised at Sentinel's question. He stays propped against the wall, but now his hands move to his side and then lift in a 'why not?' sort of gesture. "We, uhm... have a couple of Wreckers?" he asks, a bit confused as to what the other Prime even expects. "And two Dinobots," he adds. They're kiiiiiiind of like an elite team. Or at least an elitist team. "We really haven't had enough people to worry too much about subdivisions yet, and outside of your Jetstorm and Jetfire, haven't had a complete Special Team show up yet."
The fact that Rodimus refers to them as a 'complete' Special Team might seem a bit odd in and of itself, but where Rodimus is from such a phrase usually refers to a Combiner Group in its totality.
"I suppose we're getting enough people in Mil-Sec to start thinking about a sort of trans-dimensional Wrecker-squad," Rodimus adds thoughtfully. He crosses his arms once more, this time resting his left elbow in his right palm, so that he can tap his chin with his left index finger.

Sentinel Prime has never heard of Wreckers, but they sound dreadfully uncouth, like a dirty squad of demolitionists. Dinobots, however, he has heard of, and he grimaces. Sentinel Prime groans, "Dinobots? In the same train of thought as the Elite Guard? You have got to be kidding me."
He also glances over at Jetfire and Jetstorm, confused. They're a special team now? He guesses they're certainly special enough.
However, Sentinel Prime is a big, fat opportunist, when the chips are down, and he's smelling an opportunity for his grasping self to get a piece of energony goodness now. Sentinel Prime turns on a thousand watt smile and holds out one of his hands to shake, offering, "If you need any help, any help at all, organising your, uh, trans-dimensional Wrecker-squad," that name is way too long, "let me know. I'd be glad to assist."

"I'll... keep that in mind, Sentinel," Rodimus answers, a slight smile over a mostly neutral tone. "I'm sure we can find something for you." Something which may or may not have any connection at all to the Wreckers, but put together like that, it sure implies it, doesn't it?
"You're going to have to be a lot more flexible in your thinking while you're here, Sentinel. You know, adapt." Rodimus observes to the other Prime casually as he pushes against the wall, righting himself. "Just because something or some one has a name matching the version you knew doesn't mean he or it's going to be like what you expect." He pauses and glances over. "You can handle that, right?"
The thing about being 'flexible' or 'adaptable' is that even if someone is not those things, they never want to admit to not being those things (sometimes, older people will, mentioning being 'set in their ways,' but it's not usually something they admit happily!). Turn it into a challenge on top of things, and people will pretend to accept all sorts of things for the sake of appearing flexible. Sure, maybe they haven't really accepted these things, but sometimes pretense is enough to get by with.
"Back home, my universe's Grimlock was a valued member of my command staff," he adds, unaware of what a loaded phrase 'my command staff' can be, when thrown out so casually. "Not really something you'd want as top dog,-" he then interrupts himself to mutter, "-still don't get what the hell they were thinking there,-" returning to normal tone, "-but effective enough in his position. But despite the surface, he was a very different person from the Grimlock we have here, who might be different from any you know." He shakes his head, grinning wryly as he heads towards the door. "It gets confusing, I know."
OOC: Heading towards wrap-up? Although just reacting to the casual bombs dropped might be another round or two there!

Sentinel Prime is not sure what to make of Rodimus Prime's reply. He's not even sure he wants to get involved with these Wrecker people. Sentinel Prime just doesn't want to be in with the normal troops. Ugh. Sentinel Prime briefly glares at his hand and then takes it back, since Rodimus Prime won't shake it. What, is there something wrong with it? Does this Rodimus Prime think he's too good to shake Sentinel Prime's hand, with his fancy command staff and - - command staff? The guy had a command staff? Primes are command staff, but they doesn't usually have formal officers that report to them, just troops. So this Rodimus Prime is a real big shot. Better handle him real carefully. Sentinel Prime goggles a bit. Sentinel Prime does bridle when Rodimus Prime implies that he's not very flexible in his thinking, fingers clenching and his jaw setting. (But really, flexible thinking is the bane of his existence.) He hmphs and says too quickly, "Of course I can! I just got done getting the drop on some of Megatron's top men." Wait, wait, wait, did he just imply that some Grimlock ended up as a top dog? Must have been nothing like that lumbering lunk Sentinel Prime ran into. (More alike than he knows.) Guh. - - - OOC: Guess so?

Jetfire jolts slightly as Sentinel mentions his handling with Megatron's troops. Oh, he got the drop on them alright. If by 'get the drop on them' he means 'hired a bounty hunter to catch them for him'. He may not have stayed in his universe long enough to witness Sentinel's shameful ploy himself, but hearing him boast about it now after his twin told him what actually happened? He can just feel his respect for the prime draining away.
He is a good little soldier, so he will not say anything out loud - at least not in front of Sentinel. Badmouthing one's superiors is strictly to be done behind their backs - but he gives Jetstorm a sidelong glance, trying to communicate a silent 'Can you believe this guy?'
OOC: Still skippable.

Jetstorm's hackles rise a bit, and his jaw clenches. Like his brother, however, he keeps quiet. The glance is returned with a frown, and a private opening of radio frequencies. Jetstorm hasn't been here as long as Jetfire has, to be exposed to nicer commanders for very long, but he does come from the Decepticon attack on-board the Elite Guard flagship...where Sentinel didn't want to call for backup, in fear of getting in trouble.
//...should I be telling Rodimus Prime about what Sentinel actually did in regards to the badness-bots?// Sure, the truth should be told, but perhaps it should be told in private, over radio.
---------- OOC: Also still skippable.

Tattling that Sentinel is willing to hire bounty hunters is not likely to get much sympathy from Rodimus. After all, Rodimus has made dealings with such himself.
(He tends to find negotiations made with a room full of armed men pointing their weapons at said bounty hunter to be the most effective means of dealing with such people.)
It's entirely possible that Rodimus is distracted by other things, and so misses the attempt at the hand shake. It's also entirely possible that his player just missed that part of the post. Whoops!
"Great," Rodimus tells the other Prime. "Glad to hear it. Now, if you're ready, I'll show you to where Kup is, and he can get your interview done. When you're done with that, well, I'm sure you'll want to catch up with the others here from your reality," Rodimus's tone suggests he's not really all that sure, "but once you get the chance, it might be a good idea to review what we've got in our databases. That should help to give you an idea on what you're dealing with here."
He looks at Jetstorm and Jetfire and sighs. "You two... my joints are starting to ache seeing you stand around like that. Unless you guys are taking over for Slingshot, why don't you take off?"
Then, with a nod towards Override, he heads out of the room and out of the thread.

Sentinel Prime's beloved students and troops are plotting behind his back? Oh, shock and horror! Oblivious as he is, Sentinel Prime doesn't notice the sidelong glances that the twins are shooting each other, and he certainly has no reason to expect treachery from them, aside from general paranoia. He does shoot a glance over at the twins and says, as much a warning as a promise, "We'll be in touch, boys." In regulation lock-step, he follows after the other Prime, trying to catch up with him so that he's following off to the side, rather than behind. He inquires, "What's this Kup like?" Anything to get a bead on how he should be reacting. How much to lay on the charm, how much to play up the tough guy routine. "And of course I'll review the database!" - - - OOC: Out of thread?

Surely Sentinel Prime has nothing against troops talking behind their superiors' backs? Well, perhaps when it is his back that is being talked behind...
Jetfire's issue with Sentinel's stunt with Lockdown has less to with the fact that he hired a bounty hunter and more to do with the fact that he apparently lied about catching the Decepticons himself. He may have never considered the morality of hiring bounty hunters, but he is quite certain that lying to one's comrades is not a good thing.
He salutes again as the two Primes leave, giving Rodimus a "Yes, sir!" to the suggestion for them to leave. At the same time, he says to Jetstorm, //Perhaps it would be good idea for higher-ups to be knowing.//
Out loud he adds, "Shall we be going, Brother?"

Given Sentinel's bit of mouthing about the Autobot Council and Ultra Magnus, perhaps Jetfire has the right idea.
Jetstorm is also in the same boat about the bounty-hunter bit. He finds Lockdown to be a bad guy in general, but hiring out and taking credit for the captures is not a good thing. And if he's willing to do that, what else is Sentinel willing to do?
Jetstorm joins his brother in saluting and answering "Yes, sir!", then answers. //Hm...but who are we to be letting know?//
"Yes, we are having duties to be doing, after all!"

Jetfire looks contemplative as he heads out the door.
//Well, Emirate Xaaron is top head, so we should probably not be bothering him with information.// They are just ordinary troops here after-all. It is not their place to be taking problems straight to the acting Magnus. //Maybe not second-in-command Rodimus, too.// Same reason. //Maybe Kup? Untruthfulness is possible security risk, yes?//

Jetstorm follows his brother out, looking just as contemplative.
//Mm...well, he is being taken to Kup for being interviewed. Maybe we should be seeing how that goes first. Or maybe we should ask Optimus what to be doing. He is knowing Sentinel longer that us...//
---------- OOC: Out of thread, too.
