OOC: This is meant to be the thread for all retreating Decepticons. Once you've posted leaving your current thread, you can post here. Skystrike, Sky-Byte, and Shortround, you guys can post now.
...Can you see the strings above me that are being pulled by the admin as I say all this?
Starscream roars along as a jet once more. He's damaged, but not critically. Of course, that doesn't matter as he will be seen to by Hook first regardless. Starscream is positively trailing compared to his usual speeds. After the high speed at which he escaped the immediate range of Omega Supreme, he slowed right down. Once others start to arrive, Starscream starts talking. "Well, despite the inability of certain people to understand the importance of occupying Omega Supreme, we did well." People can look forward to the training session of 'if you assume that the big red guardian robot is somebody else's problem, he then becomes EVERYONE'S problem' once they get the training room built in their base. Oh, and once their base is built too.

// I could definitely be doing better. // groans Sky-byte, winding his way slowly back towards Shortround and Skystrike. Oh gosh, his mouth is going to be slightly sore. Thus is the fate of this poor hapless shark.
His complaints and inner monologue are cut short as a now familiar red and white jet cuts into the area. Looks like Decepticons retreat as well from Starscream's universe as they do in Sky-byte's! The fact that his Predacons retreat even better refuses to float to the top of his mind. It's a pity that Starscream's condition isn't more banged up...
Wait, he's talking. Must try to look somewhat attentive.

Spinister is nowhere near as fast as these jets that litter the Decepticon forces. He is, at least, faster than some of the ground vehicles. Spinister does look back as he makes is retreat. If no one goes for Needlenose, he will. He won't like it. He thinks walking would do Needlenose some good, but Spinister will do carry him if he has to.
His rotors are whining at him, one of his robot mode optics is out, and he is pockmarked and scorched with small and medium arms fire all over his frame. Spinister is not a happy fellow. They were forced away from here by Omega Supreme who yet lives. Omega Supreme will recover, and he'll be back.
Moreover, they're being so obvious about this retreat. The Autobots will know where to chase them, and they have no chance at all to cover their tracks. They do have energy that the Autobots don't, but they're going to have to be canny to use that advantage to keep them ahead.
If they squander that energon on a party or other frivolous expenditure, Primus help him, Spinister is going to shoot someone.

//At least we’re not dead.// Considering Omega Supreme. // … Where are the supplies, Sky-byte?// Skystrike asked, looking around through the clearing dust. Hook was going to be mightily unhappy if it were lost now, after all the trouble they’d gone through keeping it.
At the sound of approaching jets though, the blue flier tensed and spun around, only to see a moment later that it was Starscream. Their great leader returns from a glorious battle. Yay. Now that that was over and done with, it was back to being paranoid about any Autobots that might be following their ever outstanding Air Commander. She would have preferred staying away from the other seeker for the sake of attracting less attention, but it would be a stupid idea to tell him off.

Retreat. Possibly his least favourite order. An order is still an order, unfortunately.
Yes, ostensible fellow Decepticons, that large white and grey hulk of an eight-wheeled machine trundling across the terrain back there behind you is Wreckage. Trying to keep up with the much faster fliers is a lost cause; he simply maintains top speed and follows their general heading, where necessary manoeuvering around obstacles that lend themselves poorly to being driven over.
He decides he will catch up – eventually – should he fall too far behind the others.

Starscream sent a private transmission to the frequency of 'Wreckage': //Is that you back there? The white-and-gray coloured ground unit?//
Starscream has no intent on his energon being squandered--not when their supplies are so low.
On a short-range frequency he transmits: //Has anyone found a location suitable for a base in their travels?// Hook isn't the type to appreciate the aesthetic of repairing people under the stars. And Starscream needs a throne to sit on.

// ...They're still in my mouth. // responds Sky-byte. Not that he's utterly elated that they didn't fall out. It looks like they might be staying where they are longer. His teeth aren't showing because he's smiling.
A base? If the Decepticons like wet and swampy, the swamplands he, Demolisher, and that bug (speaking of Shrapnel, where is he?) arrived in. For some odd reason, Sky-byte can't see Starscream settling down for any sort of swamplands.

//Ah.// Well, that’s one less thing to worry about. Skystrike transformed back into jet mode once more, not needing her robot mode’s more flexible field of vision now that she new where everything was. She idly kept count of the number of Decepticons flying or driving up behind them while listening to the new voice over the radio.
And… Starscream was asking for a suitable location for a base?
//Negative, sir. I was within the same area as Hook and Dead End on our first day here.//

Don't mind Starfighter, poor little Starfighter speedily limping along in the air on the way back to the other seekers. There were sparks coming from his underside where the Autobot had cut him and he wasn't flying as straight as he possibly could. All that mattered was going in a general 'away' direction as fast as physically possible without running into a wall. Again.
Somehow he managed to shudder to a near-halt above Starscream and wiggle his wings in a panicked psuedo-salute.
"Reporting in, sir."

Shortround isn't slow. He's just careful.
//Closest thing I just saw to a base just got demolished by that Mechabot-1 repaint back there// Shortround said over the shortwave, staying in vehicle mode due to the energon cubes. And what fine and not-exploded energon cubes they are!

Spinister considers his lord's request for good location for a temporary base. It has to be a temporary base. He's going to return home to his duty and, armed with his new knowledge, make certain that Carnivac dies. They're just in this together until they can safely depart.
Now, Spinister is one of the very few Decepticons who has ever considered how to select a base location so that it is defensible, instead of picking a base where it is easy to carve a giant Decepticon symbol. Here, he honestly does not know enough about the planet to make an informed decision, and he's getting the impression that none of them do.
The area where Needlenose arrived did have that tunnel system. Tunnels are for Autobots, where they can be hunted down like the rats that they are. However, Spinister cannot deny that there is a certain effectiveness to hiding in tunnels. There are also bad chances of being trapped down there if they don't put in enough exits or being invaded on the sly if they do put in enough exits.
Carefully, softly, he comments, //The mining town where Needlenose arrived has a tunnel system with enough height clearance that we could bivouac there for a while, but I'd advise exploring the planet better and at least looking for other options.//

The Autobot mini-Valkyrie tails after Starfighter, afterburners running hot. As he closes in, he starts to notice that there are a lot of Decepticons here. Skyblast is a daredevil of the sky. He doesn't fear what the Decepticons might do to him, just the expletives that the medic is going to have ready for him. Ratchet has that scary laser pointer of doom. He did, last Skyblast knew, anyway.
He starts evasive manoeuvres, just trying to get a count on the Decepticons and if they have anything overly exciting as cargo. There is no pattern to his movements, but there is a sort of artful gracefulness about them.
Skyblast does answer on the radio, as he is bidden.
OOC: Hello! Feel free to swing back and pot shot me. I likely won't be here long.

Wreckage is understandably cautious as he passes into the settling cloud of dust and debris around the demolished mesa. Rock fragments – some of them somewhat small, some of them somewhat large – still fall periodically as their upward momentum peters out and they have the audacity to interfere with his sensor readings as they do so. He found it enough of a nuisance righting himself after that blast wave rolled him off his tires; accidentally finding something like the massive furrow in the earth he tracks alongside, seeking an end or a bypass, is not something he feels eager to do.
Then he hears the sound of a jet roaring not ahead of him but from behind, and as the dust thins to a haze and he directs his attention skyward, he sees why. He has been stationed on Earth for some time, but he would be a blind fool if he did not recognise the skill behind the weaving, darting motions of that craft. Him, here?
// Of all I thought to see, sky-painter, I did not expect you, // he addresses the Autobot, feeling charitable in his surprise. Transforming to shoot at Skyblast would cost him speed he would rather not lose.

OOC: Starscream's player has requested we skip him, so he's being pulled from the rotation. Anytime he's ready to post back in, he can, and will be re-added. This means that Sky-Byte's up.

Sky-byte honestly does not care where they end up settling down their base, just as long as it's away from any meddling Autobots and their giant friend. A body of water would be preferable, but from what it sounds like, a mining town doesn't sound like a likely place to find a huge reservoir. Well, nearby at least. Ugh, tunnels. Who in their right mind would chose to stay in such dark, closed places? Then again, none of these individuals are in their right minds in Sky-byte's point of view.
The top of his head sparks once more, surprise more than pain startles a snarl out of him. Snarled mess of wires and circuits. Yes, a base sounds good. Some place to settle down before more debris and nonsense get knocked into him.
// Where is that Demolisher? // he asks roughly over shortwave.
