Following Long Haul's directions, it doesn't take Perceptor all that long to arrive at the indicated facility.
The tall, towering spire rises up into the air, with several protrusions along it's structure that appear to be antennae. Though there are some areas that contain markings consistent with the written languages that none of them had managed to puzzle out yet, much of the structure appears to be covered in graceful blue and silver markings which appeared to serve no other purpose than aesthetics. Perceptor studies them intently from all sides, committing the patterns and close-ups of whatever writing there is to his memorybanks for further study later.
Nothing, however, leaps out as familiar to him, and so, after he's imaged all sides, he returns to a door in the structure. Far too small for him, of course.
At least, in his present state it is.
It might make a funny sight for any who were to happen upon him just then, lying prone on the ground, head propped on his arms, peering through the entrance into the structure beyond. There is only so much he can attempt to learn from the exterior, peering inside, though. The scale here is inconvenient; fortunately, Perceptor has a plan and an advantage over Long Haul.
Perceptor's alt mode can actually fit through said entrance.
He transforms, shunting inconvenient mass away until he is small enough to fit. Of course, what a business a microscope has with treads for motoring merrily through the doorway and into said structure is anyone's guess.
Not that that stops him from doing exactly that.
