//Yes, there's decoys// Thundercracker replies. //But don't worry, I'm pretty sure I can tell them apart.// Because wasn't it him that found the fabric for the decoys in the first place? All he has to do is find the flag NOT made from that material. That and keep an optic out for potential booby traps that his team may have set up while he wasn't around.
Decoy... decoy... decoy... there! He darts forward and grabs the real flag, then tears away in an effort to put some distance between himself and Wreckage. //Got it, Starscream!//

Wreckage is afire from head to feet; the sounds and scents of battle surround him and tension – anticipation – sings through every cable and plate, every circuit and relay in his body. He wants a fight. He sees he has one the instant Thundercracker fails to answer or even acknowledge him and instead charges for a group of their flags. The white warrior is, as a general rule, not given to automatic suspicion of fellow Decepticons. Unknowns, certainly, and he holds himself aloof from his comrades, but they are for the most part united under a common goal and work toward that with periodic glitches like Bonecrusher. Even so, Wreckage finds it a reasonable assumption that Thundercracker has spotted the real flag among Skystrike's decoys – and is attempting to take it.
Even as Thundercracker reaches, Wreckage is in motion, turning to pursue, weight shifting onto the forward spurs of his feet. Thundercracker may not be touching the ground, but he is well within reach and Wreckage rushes him at full speed, glass crunching and pavement cracking underfoot.
"Traitor!" he roars as he takes his last two strides and leaps headlong at the Seeker's exposed back, throwing his full weight into the tackle, trying to drive Thundercracker into the ground face first. He grabs for either wing's trailing edge to secure a hold and if Thundercracker feels like struggling, he can have a knee spike in the back for his troubles. Fortunately for him, Wreckage is quite fond of traitors. The Stryker dealt with several personally at Tyger Pax and enjoyed every last dying shriek.

Sky-Byte arrives to the scene in as quiet and round-about manner as possible. One good thing about being a flying shark is that a flying shark makes much less noise going about than these jets. Okay, so insertion near smoke. Sky-Byte comes to a stop between two buildings near the edge of the make-shift screen. Frenzy can go do his thing, however the little mech's supposed to do it.
Now this whole situation seems very interesting. Sky-Byte can't really see what's going on, but with the scream of jet engines and the occasional flash of some color showing up in that mess...What is that about a traitor he hears? Oh? Sky-Byte's sensor of bad situations are tingling, but this time, it's not his own bad situation. How curious--how delightful!
If Frenzy has debarked on his mission, Sky-Byte begins prowling around the edge of the smoke cloud, looking around and trying to glean information on whatever is going on in this chaos.

Frenzy drops lightly off Sky-Byte's back and skitters off through the smoke. Robbed of sight, the little infiltrator moves much more carefully and cautiously. He listens intently, one hand resting on the wall of a building to keep himself oriented.
The roar of "Traitor!" does not go unheeded. Obscured by the smoke, Frenzy twists around to stare in the direction of Wreckage's yell.
This... is relevant. Time to investigate.
So thinking, Frenzy scampers towards the sound, keeping one hand carefully on a wall still as he runs. A very tiny scratching sound might be heard, but it's doubtful with the yelling of larger mechs going on.

Starscream’s transformation rang out far too close by but Skystrike doesn’t let herself tense. Clenches her fist and idly wonders how Starscream hadn’t spotted her yet—no, he has. He had to have. She wasn’t going to let herself assume otherwise. The better question was whether or not the smokescreen was really working in her favor or if the Air Commander was just toying with her. She went with the former and hoped it was right, brightening her optics to the normal Decepticon red rather than the usually dim pinpoints of light. She kept pressed against the wall so that the sharper upward angle of her wings wouldn’t be seen.
“Sir?” Skystrike asked in her best imitation of Thundercracker’s voice as she brought an arm up to aim a shoulder cannon at their leader. It was a few notes off, still too deep to really be her ‘teammate’s’ voice, but that didn’t matter because the next moment because Wreckage’s voice rang out through the miasma and cleared everything up pretty quick. The berkut cut the power to her antigravs as she opened fire on Starscream, dropping further into the smoke under him.

Should have made the most of the moment's confusion, Skystrike. For but a moment, Starscream thought she really was Thundercracker. She pushed it though, should have struck instead of continued the bluff. By the time she finally opens fire, Starscream is alert and already taking evasive maneuvers, not to mention is firing back on Skystrike as she vanishes below his feet. He couldn't have gotten far though.
As Skystrike fell, Starscream began flying in the direction of Wreckage. Decoy flag in hand, he had an idea.

Thundercracker's victory is short-lived as several tons of Stryker smash squarely into his back. He hits the ground like a brick, his cockpit cracking with the force of his impact, and hands latch onto his wings. Fragit, who knew Wreckage could move so fast?
He doesn't try to break free just yet -- Wreckage is physically stronger than he is. He does draw the hand clutching the flag under his body, just in case Wreckage tries to wrestle it free. His other hand closes around a particularly good-sized shard of glass, and he quickly thrusts his arm back, seeking to jab the impromptu blade into Wreckage's elbow joint.
If the thrust connects, THEN he'll make a bid for freedom.

Wreckage is tall and imposing and generally very ominous-looking. He is also fairly light as armoured vehicles go, providing him unexpected speed and agility. It is a combination he finds both appealing and useful in many cases. Such as now.
In a way, he is glad Thundercracker is at least trying to put up a fight. This would hardly be as fulfilling as if he chose not to struggle. But the flash of that shard in the Seeker's hand is unexpected, and reflex is what saves Wreckage's elbow; the glass finds its home in one wheel mount instead and although Wreckage makes no sound in response, the pain snaps across his relays, forcing his hand tighter on the wing he has caught. He scowls and tries bringing down his knee on Thundercracker's back while he switches the gun for the sword on his free arm; once the blade is locked in place, he raises it and presses the tip lightly into the back of Thundercracker's head. Enough for the Seeker to know it is there.
"Blades do not suit you, comrade," Wreckage growls, loudly enough for Thundercracker to hear but too low to be more than an ominous thrum for anyone a few meters away, if it is at all audible over the sound of aircraft engines and weapons fire above. The title rolls out thick with disdain. "Tell me why I should not take your head off right now. Perhaps I will listen." //Skystrike,// he cues over radio, //Thundercracker has betrayed us. Status on Starscream.//

So this prowling around the edges isn't quite working. Sky-Byte frowns (in a way that only a transmetal shark can do) and slowly moves in. Time to prove that Scourge isn't the only sneaky con from their reality around.
Sky-Byte winces as the sound of something crashing to the ground. The sound of the scuffle barely carries to the Predacon's audios. Just what is going on? The smoke's terribly frustrating to see through and the racket of the fight above is covering up most everything. Follow that crash eh? Sky-Byte glides silently through the smoke. It's when he finally is able to make out a patch of white and dark blue that he suddenly dodges behind a nearby building.
White and blue? Well, Wreckage is the only white colored mech out there. But blue? There are two blue fliers on the other team. But hmmm, team trouble, there must be some way to take advantage of this. Perhaps he should listen just a little more longer to see what's going on first. Can't go roaring into a act without a bit of background after all! Hopefully, Frenzy is out there doing his job. Sky-Byte's eager to begin his own.

Frenzy has scrambled up another light pole and is once more pretending to be part of the equipment. He can see Wreckage and Thundercracker right there; he'd seen most of the struggle. Thundercracker going down like a ten-milli hooker with some crystals in his system had been amusing. Couldn't those look-alike jets all fly as robots?
All the leakin', fragging, polluting background noise kept him from hearing them talk! How was he supposed to hear amusing threats to work into his own vocabulary if they were being so quiet?
Still. Goal. Focus on the goal. Get the flag.
Get Thundercracker out from under Wreckage.
Annoy Wreckage.
Viciously assault someone with the flag.
Lotta fun.
Quick as a wink, Frenzy pulled himself up over the top of the light pole, judged his target, and leapt squarely for the middle of Wreckage's back.
BANZAI!

Skystrike reactivates her antigravs a split second later, energy shots lighting up the smoke around her as she kicks off the building. She ignored the wall cracking under the force and quickly radios Wreckage. //He's heading your way.// It wasn't a terribly far distance from her perch to where her teammate was but she still had to be fast. Had to get there before Starscream did.
//You should move if you can.// She adds as an afterthought and-- her sensors caught a glimpse of a familiar shape through the smoke that was neither Wreckage or another seeker. A familiar finny shape no less. It disappeared behind a building a moment later.
//Sky-byte is here.// The seeker warns the stryker as she lands on top of said building, turning her sensors skywards to locate Starscream once more. When she does, she opens fire at their leader. It wasn't much of a plan, but she could only hope it would work.

Despite the smoke still enshrouding them, Starscream found it easy to find Thundercracker. The brutal sound of the assault Wreckage was inflicting on him was all it took. Taking care of Wreckage, however, would be more difficult. Starscream ignited his boot jets, hurtling himself towards Wreckage, using the force to knock him off Thundercracker.
"Thundercracker, I'll handle Wreckage!" Starscream yelled "Stop wasting time! Transform and get out of here!"
A few blasts struck Starscream on his back of his wing as Skystrike arrived. "I'll hold them off! Go!" He yelled. Whether or not Starscream could actually do that, given that he was in close quarters with Wreckage, was another story.

Thundercracker feels the impromptu blade connect, but Wreckage doesn't even squeak in pain. Instead there's the feeling of a spike being pressed to his back... and a cold touch that can only be a blade on the back of his head.
He highly doubts that, if Wreckage truly wanted his head as a trophy, anything he could say in his defense would make no difference. Besides, "I betrayed the team because I've screwed up so many times since coming here that I have to make Starscream decide not to cut my fuel lines and use me as spare parts somehow" sounds pretty pathetic, even to his own audios.
He's saved having to explain himself -- and a potential decapitation -- by Starscream slamming into Wreckage and knocking him off the blue Seeker. Thundercracker doesn't stop to ask questions or see how Wreckage took the blow. Grabbing the flag up, he transforms and shoots away, hoping to put some distance between himself and his angry teammates.
He doesn't realize that Sky-Byte and Frenzy are out there, or he'd be a little more careful...

Wreckage never gets the explanation he wants from Thundercracker. Or the satisfaction of ripping off the traitor's head. The first impact Wreckage can mostly ignore; it registers significantly enough to tell him he has been struck on the back, where his plating is folded over itself, and there is a lingering, scrabbling weight. Damn it all – Frenzy. However, a much larger concern makes himself known by bowling Wreckage over and off his prey shortly after Frenzy lands. Wreckage does not see his attacker right away, but the scream of jets and a vocal screech that has become familiar over the past months are his first clues. He sights white and red – a smattering of blue – in the subsequent tumble as he tries to lever himself back into the upper hand.
So he has the commander in his clutches. Interesting. Wreckage twists mid-roll, looking to pin Starscream like any other blasted flier; respect and an appropriate measure of fear for Starscream, as the commander of their forces, he may have, but the Seeker is also the enemy in this exercise. The enemy is to be eliminated.

Sky-Byte inches out of his hiding place to get a little closer, it's then that he witnesses first Frenzy dropping like a little gremlin onto Wreckage's back. What? Frenzy's objective is to find out what's going on and to find that flag--has he found the flag? Then all of a sudden Starscream comes hurtling in, shouting at Thundercracker who is flying away something fluttering in his hand...
Okay. Scheming aborted. No reason to try and take advantage of this situation if the flag's right in front of him. Sky-Byte thrashes out after Thundercracker's escape, not even pausing to wonder at Starscream's rescue.
That flag is going to be his. He just has to keep on Thundercracker's tail long enough to get to it.
