Skyblast knifes through the air, heading off to the south quadrant of city. He draws on his fuel reserves and produces his cannon, slung under his cockpit. He suggests, over the whip of the wind, "Go after the ugly buildings first, so that the prettier ones will die slowly in flames."
That said, he opens up on what look to be some mass-fabricated condos. Get that stain out of his sight!

Slingshot drifts along behind Skyblast, swinging out wide on either flank to fire his twin mortar cannons at whatever happens to be in front of him.
His guns shut off abruptly as his swoop points him at a particularly lovely old building with graceful minarets and a sky-colored dome. They come on again immediately after, and the rocket-powered grenades that are his mortar rounds wreak havoc on the district.
He's even humming to himself. Someone who might know the tune might put in the proper lyrics: "I said 'It's just a boy's game, but girls play too'./My heart is working over time/In this kind of game, people get hurt-"1

They have orders now, orders which do not involve lovingly demolishing a several story parking garage, just because the abandoned vehicles inside offend Skyblast's sight. That, and they make the most beautiful orange-blossom explosions when he nails them with his cannon. He sighs, ever the put-upon artist, and the Valkyrie pulls up, attempting to gain some altitude and ferret out these foolish transgressors.
Skyblast cannot put a name to Slingshot's song, because Earth isn't one of the many planets on which he has rained havoc, but he takes it for granted that Slingshot will follow. The other jet is a weapon. His place is in battle, which they shall shortly have, if they are lucky.

Slingshot's guns go silent as he peels off from mortaring the city towards the incoming Decepticons.
Maybe one of them is Fleetwind. He owes his sky-painter a few more chunks of the pastel jet's hide.
