Skyfire was not slow at all; in fact, he was very fast. However, jet fighter furballs are fast-moving, and jet fighters in pursuit are faster still. By the time Skyfire arrived at the coordinates Skyblast had given him, the functional fighters were long gone thataway.
Skyfire sighed. No chance to capture some more pets, then. The downed one--and where was he?--would have to do. Skyfire spread his wings wide and circled, searching for the gleam of metal amid the trees and rocks. It being night, and the downed Seeker apparently not being on fire made things a bit more difficult.
"TC! Get out and search for the crashed Seeker!" Skyfire slowed to just above stall speed and opened his bow bay door (too much cargo against the rear bay doors), letting wind howl through his cabin at over 100mph. "Radio me with coordinates as soon as you find him, and disarm him. Administer first aid if he looks critical."

"Yes, Master!" Thundercracker calls out against the wind, and he transforms and dives out of the bay door. It briefly crosses his processor that he's basically going out to search for a possible comrade, but the thought dies quickly.
It takes awhile to find the downed Seeker, and as he transforms and lands he recognizes the Decepticon quickly -- Duskwing. Surly and about as intelligent as a post, as he recalled... He examines the fallen Seeker carefully, wincing at the mangled wing and electrical scorching all over. The damage isn't life-threatening, but he's still going to be in a lot of pain when he comes back online.
//Master, located the Seeker at <insert coordinates here>. Badly damaged but not critical.// As he radios Skyfire he searches Duskwing's body for weaponry, careful not to jostle his injuries.

Duskwing's self-repair systems have a lot of work to do. They can't do anything about the torn-off wing half, or the clipped other wing, and the engine is going to take a long time to get minimally functional... but connecting severed connections and restoring processor function goes much faster. Duskwing isn't aware yet, but more and more cognitive processes are moving into the green...
His arm cannon are still very functional, just lacking a controlling will yet; ditto for his cluster bombs.

Skyfire quickly closed his forward door and swung around, flaring for a VTOL landing near the coordinates Thundercracker gave him. He can't land too close because of the trees and because crushing the captured Seeker underneath his landing gear would be... counter-productive.

Perceptor swivels around in the seat he has been strapped into throughout these hectic last few minutes, watching everything through the windows and screens of Skyfire's cockpit. There's a look of intense interest and almost clinical eagerness painted across his features.
"Ah, we have a survivor? How fortuitous," he observes in a faintly languid drawl. "Perhaps complimentary will suffice in lieu of a matched set?"

"Maybe we'll get another chance at that Thundercracker later, but lets get info out of this Seeker for now." Standing up from where she had been resting, Oracle tries not to wince at the off balance feeling of having only the one wing. "And if your pet can't handle it, I'm sure I can help. Spinister didn't mess me up that badly. They right near here? If so, where exactly?" Waiting until Skyfire opens another door for her she heads in the direction the coordinates he gave her indicate she will find the other two Seekers.
It doesn't take long before she arrives at their location and she stops for a moment before exiting the trees. Looks like Duskwing is still down, and just as messed up as Thundercracker said he was, though he might not stay that way for too long. Best to remove any potential hazards now before they become problems in the middle of interrogation, if not before. Walking over and ignoring the grinding noises from her leg as she knelt, Oracle started working on unlatching Duskwing's arm guns and setting them aside. She had to work around the damage in a few places but thing were repairing quickly enough she was glad she was doing this now. Removing the cluster bombs was next and accomplished neatly if without much care for the one having them removed.
Stowing the weapons away she stood and looked at Thundercracker before leaning down and grabbing one of Duskwing's arms. //Give me a hand Flyboy? We need to get him back to Skyfire before he wakes up, unless you really want to deal with him thrashing around at the same time as we move him.//

Thundercracker feels the briefest flash of protest at Skyfire and Oracle's requests. This is a fellow Decepticon. He's helping in the capture of a comrade... But Perceptor's reprogramming proves effective once again. //Oracle and I will have him aboard shortly, Master// he radios to Skyfire.
To Oracle he replies //I'd rather not deal with him thrashing around, and it would only worsen his injuries.// That would concern Skyfire and Perceptor in that their prize would be further damaged, but despite his reprogramming Thundercracker still felt some small degree of concern for Duskwing.
He grabs the Seeker's other arm, ready to haul him aboard Skyfire.

Duskwing's optics flickered dimly, like glowing coals as he stumbled toward full awareness. Someone was dragging him along-- diagnostics glared redly in his cockpit, warning him of heavy damage-- Duskwing started to pull away from the hand grabbing him. Then he recognized the colors and shape--Thundercracker. The other one was a pale Seeker--Fleetwind? Duskwing relaxed for the moment.

Skyfire quickly lowered his bow ramp when he spotted Oracle and Thundercracker man-handling the battered blue Seeker between them.
"Well, I think that might work all right," Skyfire admitted to Perceptor. "They better hurry it up--it looked like he moved there for a minute... Yeah, his optics are lit. He's not struggling though. I wonder why?"

Safety restraints are quickly disengaged, freeing Perceptor to slip out of Skyfire's cabin and back to the rear bay where Oracle and Skyfire's pet are dragging the unresisting subject up the loading ramp.
"A question for a more secure setting, perhaps," Perceptor observes briskly as he pulls the necessary tools from subspace. He has no desire for this Seeker to awaken fully and being responding in earnest to his altered situation. "For the moment, however, I believe a return to stasis is in order."
As soon as the three Seekers are aboard, Perceptor slips in, his work on Skyfire's pet - among others - granting him the required familiarity to crack open the subject's chest and, with a swift manipulation of several components, return the new Seeker to unconsciousness.
"Secure the subject for transport. Rodimus will require the first opportunity to... discuss matters with him."

Duskwing's lack of violent reaction was appreciated by Oracle as she watched Perceptor send him into stasis again. Thrashing around would have irritated her wounds as well as his so the ease with which this whole thing was accomplished was nice.
"Secure him, sure. Do I look like I carry restraints on me?" She paused for a moment, glancing at the others there. "Don't answer that." She did in fact reach into subspace and produce a set of arm restraints, before kneeling again to fasten them onto Duskwing. She ignored the renewed grinding from her leg as she knelt, beyond a soft hiss to herself and a mental note not to count on it.
Finished restraining the Seeker she pushed herself up and dragged Duskwing over to some unused cargo webbing and strapped him down with practiced ease. "He's secure and locked down for travel. Ready when you are Skyfire." As a precaution Oracle took up a watch station nearby. It wasn't as though she didn't trust both her work and Perceptor's, but after the things that had already gone wrong that day, she wasn't talking any more chances.

Thundercracker only looks on as Perceptor and Oracle ensure Duskwing will be no trouble on the journey, his face a seeming mask of impassiveness. Privately, though, he wonders if the poor mech has any idea what's in store for him. Skyfire has been itching for another pet in his menagerie for some time now...
Well, at least it means he won't be alone in his captivity much longer. Misery does love company...

"Good job, TC," Skyfire said as he closed his front ramp. He didn't bother to praise Oracle's good sense; it was expected, and she wasn't a pet to need patting on the head and reassurance. "Strap in, everyone!"
After waiting for Perceptor to secure himself, Skyfire launched and sped back to the burning city, where Prime awaited....
