Here at Deadzone, we do not require that players share their full list of alternate characters. If someone wants to keep an alternate secret from the other players, either as a way of getting a break, a way to avoid dealing with other player's preconceptions of that player, or for some other reason, that's their business, and it's fine. We do recommend that the players let the admin know if you plan to keep an alternate secret, so that we don't accidentally leak it.
That said, because we have rules in Deadzone relating to character limits and how frequently a single player may apply, you can not keep your alts secret from the admin. We won't ask you to reveal your real life name if you don't want to, but you have to at least let us know if you're a returning player, and who else you play. This rule was always implicit in the existence of our character limits and frequency of application rules, but we are now making it explicit. If a player is caught pretending to be multiple players, it will be assumed that this is being done as an attempt to get around one of our character limits rules. As such, it will be dealt with harshly. Depending on circumstances and previous dealings with the player, consequences can include a moratorium on applying for new characters up to a full out ban of a year or more from the board.
Don't do it.
