This just has way too much potential for hilarity and amusement; of course Frenzy has snuck in already. He finds himself a suitably high enough vantage that he can keep tabs on most of the action, and hides himself in the architecture. Once safely tucked away, he opens a secured channel to Barricade for the Saleen to watch it all, too.
-----------
ooc: Turmoil and Slugslinger both gave permission for Frenzy to have snuck in. Frenzy will be skippable, but may occasionally pipe up with helpful comments to any or all. He is, otherwise, just a spectator, watching for some way to exploit the whole game. Which all of you just lost. ^^w^^

Slugslinger considers; he can observe the groundpounders just as well from the air; maybe better. He also wants a much better look at the layout. He notices Skystrike's salute and address only absently and looks aside at him – no, her, he corrects himself – in a distracted fashion. Turmoil gets a little more attention, but Turmoil is also giving him the stage. Slugslinger grins at the assembled, mostly the ground units, with an expression that might almost be friendly were it not so cold.
"Try not to die too quick," he advises the enemy. He's already given his group their orders, so he transforms and rises skyward, fans filling the air with white noise.

Right, let's get this show on the road then. He casts one last, odd look at the grounders before he takes off and transforms, flying off into the sky. Now let's see what he will have to work with, and how much Slugslinger will attempt to screw things up.

Duskwing crooks a finger at Mistwind, and the little Decepticon jumps up, folding into his jetpack form and lasting onto Duskwing's back even as Duskwing jets into the air. Duskwing transforms into plane mode as he accelerates straight up--By The Book, you don't engage ground troops on the ground, you stay out of their reach and bombard them from above.
Slugslinger's orders to do exactly that register a few moments later.
"Huh. Guess Sluggy knows what he's doing," Duskwing observes as he circles, taking in the crazy-quilt city and watching the ground team head for cover or whatever else they do. Somebody else better take on the heavies, but Duskwing has a cluster bomb or two earmarked for Counterpunch and Cannonball. Not to mention his lasers.
...doesn't he have a third weapon now, that he paid Swindle an extortionate price for? Oh, yeah! He'll save that for just the right moment.
Duskwing is incapable of realizing that his judgment of "just the right moment" may be a bit... flawed. --- Permission given to pose Mistwind

"Yes, sir!" Brawl barks back to Hellbender, heavy metal feet pounding across the pavement. He kicks down the door of a Pz-Zazzian tenement, slams it shut behind him then takes up a position near one of the windows in the lobby. If it was up to him, they'd charge the enemy before they had a chance to get airborne, but it's not his place to question orders.
//Brawl reportin', sir!//

They were still missing Jetstorm and Misfire and they’d yet to have called in with pardons. She was going to have to track them down a bit later and see what they’d gotten up to, but for now, the blue seeker does as ordered.
Taking to the skies and transforming, she pushes power to her lifters and rises higher. Once there was a good amount of distance between herself and the ground, she pauses to scan and take note of where the ground team members were going off to. She also takes note of where Duskwing was, just in case.
After that, the blue flier falls into formation behind their team leader, rumbling, //They're likely going to try and snipe us from buildings. Stick to ranged combat if possible and report any changes you see in the other team’s positions.// And then to Slugslinger himself; //Commander?//
Idly, the seeker finds herself hoping that growing sense of deja vu was wrong.

'.......' '...............' '.......................!'
Mistwind is eager to answer Duskwing's call to duty. Very eager.
He can't die. As long as he's in this room, Mistwind cannot die! And they can't die either. So no-one breaks laws, everyone plays a game. Mistwind can stop the protocols that make him avoid pain for this special occassion. This experience. Today, he'll be fearless. NO crying, no squeeing, no screwing up allowed.
From high up, Mistwind pays close attention, taking in what's happening and preparing for what is about to happen.
::::: Editted because Mistwind might just better shut his mouth unless asked something::::::

Counterpunch actually does stand at attention, though the move to that stance is almost lazy, not sharp.
"Kill them, avoid dying. Got it," he grunts. So it's like a normal battle. At the order to find cover, he dives into vehicle mode and takes off, heading towards the densest clump of buildings he can find...
...and then he suddenly veers off towards another block instead, before zagging back to his original direction. Wherever he's going, it's by indirect route.
//Counterpunch, here,// he says over the radio, establishing that yes, he can hear that, too.

Cannonball watches as all his comrades take off for cover at Hellbender's order. Buncha leakin' sissies...
He grumbles //Cannonball 'ere//, then transforms and heads off into a mass of buildings. He'd rather face the fliers head-on, but doing so alone is foolish.

//Connected Hellbender.// Turmoil rumbled as he charged after Hellbender.
//A solid plan. Bonecrusher, you're with me, and Wreckage, you're with Brawl. You'll be looking after our flanks in case any of the fliers gets bold and tries to engage us up close while we're distracted. Counterpunch and Cannonball, find good sniping positions and knock as many as you can out of the sky until your position is compromised. After that, head to the southwestern corner of the city. Helbender, set up our primary fortification there. Take Rampage with you for backup.
After you're set up, we'll reconnoiter there for phase two. We're going to force them to come to us. When they do, we're going to bring this whole city down on their heads...//
He stopped near the entrance of the building Hellbender had selected and waited for targets to come into sight. He was exposed, but he was also a lure. They'd find him and fire at him, surely, and he'd retreat to the basement and it's waiting tunnel. Hopefully he'd frustrate them and there they would make there first mistake.

Hellbender added Wreckage and Rampage to the radio link as soon as they showed up, so they should have heard everything that followed.
// Yes, sir! Starting tunnel to southwest. Rampage, Ah think you'll fit in my cargo bin--your choice to ride inside while Ah tunnel to our basecamp, trail me, or ride outside as tailgunner. Should warn you the last one's a bit dusty. // By 'a bit dusty', Hellbender means 'throwing a steady spray of newly-crushed gravel out his tail'. Once he reaches the basement of the building he went to ground in, Hellbender's transforms into his mining worm form and revs up his grinders. Sparks fly as he slams his head into the floor, beginning the first shallow cuts that define his working area. Chunks of shattered crystal fly as he shakes his head, tossing broken flooring out of the way, then Hellbender begins to dig in earnest. Once he gets his head in and has to actually crush the crystalline material and dump it, he uses his tail to push the broken chunks into a semblance of a wall, and builds it up with fill. Once he heads down the tunnel, he'll leave a crude rubble wall for any rearguard defenders to defend the tunnel from.
Depending what Rampage opts to do, Hellbender will either roll over and open a maintenance hatch for him to access the cargo bin, or stop spraying broken glass-like crystal shards long enough for Rampage to climb onto his tail.

//Acknowledged.// Wreckage eyes this Brawl just before the door slams shut, then sighs deeply and trudges after him, fully intent on dragging him back out if need be. They cannot very well mind the flanks from inside Brawl's little hideaway. He has to wonder as he shoves the door open how much this will be like working with the big tank he remembers.

Bonecrusher affirms that he heard Turmoil's order with a grunt and a fist pounded into his opposite palm. He moves into place next to Turmoil, made obedient by the promise of getting to smash heads. And he is so looking forward to scrapping his fellow Decepticons, even if it isn't for real.
Waiting for things to begin, Bonecrusher watches the sky.

//Acknowledged,// Rampage says, sounding rather unenthused by the order. //I'll hitch a ride.//
Following Hellbender, and avoiding any flying debris, he climbs into the cargo bin when it's offered. Not the most comfortable fit, but he hunkers down in crab mode for the trip. He'll fight when combat rears its head, but until then he doesn't see why he should do any work.
OOC: Skippable until Hellbender needs to unload him.

OOC: Whoops, sorry folks. Lost track of rotation here and didn't realise Sluggy was up.
Trying to enjoy the helter-skelter urban sprawl beneath him, Slugslinger sighs a long-suffering sigh at the radio intrusion.
//Ye-ess?// he drawls out to Skystrike after deciding that a dash of impatience is a suitable response.
