“.... Well,” says Farlane in the middle of moving to help the humans evacuate. “That’s....” Not as surprising as it should have been really. He arches a brow and glances to Mayday in a ‘what the hell just happened?’ sort of manner but there’s already an air of long suffering acceptance.
Sarentino only relaxes once Heidi manages to drag Georgia off the stage. Good grief. He’s not entirely sure what to do or feel about the recent development though so he just stands and stares at the proceedings.

Mayday stares back at Farlane, looking terribly lost and confused. He squeaks, "So do we... unevacuate people?"
"Crazy!" Christopher continues to shout dramatically at Georgia. "You are crazy!"

Oh, that Rodimus Prime is a gorgeous one, isn't he? Knock Out doesn't really pay attention to what he says, standard Autobot 'Please don't hurt our fleshy friends or else we will hit you!' posturing after all. But he does give the Prime a good, appreciative and almost shameless look over. He idly nods at his words, and when he's done, he gives him a sly, seductive grin and a complimentary wink. "You know, that paintjob is quite appropriate, because you certainly know how to set me aflame."
Hitting on Primes. It's one of his favorite hobbies.
...Wait, Needlenose actually watches this garbage? He sharply turns his head to give his comrade a funny look. He opens his mouth to say something, but instead just lets out an annoyed sigh, burying his face in his palm and murmuring something intelligible.
"Right. Well, that's decided then." This should prove to be interesting! Quite a bit, in fact, judging from all the flabbergasted and even angry glares from human and Autobots alike. And he is morbidly curious to what, exactly, Needlenose will have to say. He gives the gathered masses a sly, playful wink and a little wave with his spindly claws before he follows Needlenose, back straight and chin held high, a confident smile plastered on his face.

"And what, someone spends most of his interaction with them shooting is?" Pee-Dee asks cheerfully, in response to Needlenose.
"We can ask him after the show," Heidi says as she gently propels Georgia back with the rest of the designers.
Heidi slants a glance towards Knock Out, making a mental note to cut as much of the red car as possible from the episode when it airs. Needlenose is interesting - he knows something about fashion. Knock Out is sneering at people and flirting. Heidi has more than enough of that kind of thing to make a spin-off series.
Though, she does want to sneer a bit herself at them thinking she'd let an invited alien sit as a judge who doesn't know about fashion. Instead, though, she smiles and gestures Needlenose and Knock Out over. Then she stalks back to her chair.
Without even having to be asked, Pee-Dee settles in between the Decepticons and the human judges.
"Well," Heidi says, "the show must go on!"

Security and the camera folks eyeballs the new "judges", but as Heidi says, the show must go on, so they start scrambling to get things back on track. Mics are refitted and reassigned (Needlenose and Knock Out now have their own), and the designers are settled back into their seats.
Mirage merely raises a browridge at this new development. After a moment he shrugs and steps out of the way of Nina and Michael, allowing them to retake their seats. The spy heads backstage again.
Christ takes his seat. He whispers to whomever might be seated next to him, "I can't wait to see this episode on TV!"

Post by Rodimus Prime on Dec 31, 2011 23:04:39 GMT -5
Rodimus Prime stares blankly for a moment as the Decepticons agree to become fashion judges. He shakes his head and mutters, "This is surreal." He looks around, then looks at Bluestreak, then shakes his head. "If that's what it takes to get them to leave without putting anyone at risk, yes, yes, we're going along with this." On the up side, so far the Decepticons mostly have made themselves look like total jerks on camera.
And just when he thought things couldn't get any weirder, Knock Out hits on him. Rodimus, however, takes it in stride. "Well, you've got good taste in form, at least. Too bad it doesn't extend to faction," he answers.
Because there are two new judges, the first two outfits (the ones designed by Christ Marches to go with Rodimus Prime and the one designed by Sean Archer to go with Bluestreak) must be shown again. However, these two re-shows are edited out of the final show because the viewers have already seen them.1 This time, however, Rodimus doesn't depart with his model; he instead moves behind the designers, where he can keep a good eye on the Decepticons.
1 OOC: Assume they happened, but Mirage and I won't be reposting our outfits, and Bluestreak can pick up just as his model is leaving the stage, so his player can then describe the outfit the designer she's controlling is wearing. Also, if people want to get in new reactions to the first two outfits, catcalls, whistles, whatever, they can on this round, but technically, it won't be in the show.

One of Needlenose's antenna quirks up and the other to the side, his optics curving in a way that suggests an amused smirk as Georgia asks him if he watches. He doesn't clarify or explain, but he figures his knowledge speaks for itself.
A fashion designer needs to be able to look to unexpected sources for inspiration, and trend-watcher Needlenose is willing to even keep an eye on aliens for it. Besides, he's smart enough to have noticed that his species tends to pick up things from other cultures quickly - the Autobots are worse about it than the Decepticons, but even the Decepticons end up following the same pattern. Watch for what's popular among the species the Transformers are dealing with, and you can predict the Next Big Thing among Transformers! Not that there are many he'd admit this to, since most Decepticons are in a state of denial about the matter.
"Certainly!" he answers Pee-Dee cheerfully as he goes to take his place... beside her. He settles in to watch the show, though he gives Knock Out a bit of a look as the carformer hits on Rodimus Prime. He just snorts in amusement and shakes his head.

In the White Room...
Greta is curled up and looks miserable. She moans, "This is just like when my parents died..."
Rumour is they were killed by a super villain! ...wait, so that's true?
Skyblast continues to be behind the curtains, because it is not his call yet.

Bluestreak nods at Rodimus. "Yes sir. I agree that it's better if we can keep them from doing anything violent this way, but I don't like having them here at all, but at least if all they are doing is making comments then nobody is getting hurt and I don't think any of us here are hotheads who are going to start fights over comments. I mean, we didn't bring Grimlock along. Or Slingshot. I do like those guys, but they are both really touchy, if you know what I mean, and Grimlock doesn't restrain himself much."
His repeat performance on the runway may not be quite as smooth and polished as before--he's as much keeping an eye on the Decepticons as on the TV cameras, and his model stumbles once out of sheer nerves--but they both manage to show off Sean's outfit again.
While the re-runs proceed, the camera catches Georgia sitting next to Christ Marches. She bites her lip and hides her fists in her lap, but she can't hide the tremors shaking her body. It's too much; she leans on Christ's shoulder and hides her face, but not before the camera reveals the tears running down her face. Fortunately, the studio make-up artists used run-proof mascara.
Georgia recovers by the time Fairlane comes forth, though her eyes are suspiciously red. She brightens as her model shows off her outfit: a classic 1920s-style 'flapper' dress, short and tailored in ruffled ivory chiffon, with decorative fringes and beading in Fairlane's shades of red and pink. There's a sassy pink hat, also matching Fairlane's hull, to top it off, and matching shoes and tiny purse.

Farlane has managed to recompose his lovely self and his model was back in his driver’s seat looking only mildly frazzled. He drives down the run way, engine purring and courteously opening his door for her to step out and show off that lovely dress.
After a moment for her to shine, he transforms as well, doing a showy little mid-transformation spin after which he poses like a pro. The pink car then winks, blows a flirty kiss at the judges before picking up his model and placing her on his should, turning and strutting back.
Sarentino seems to realize his dress was up next. He also realizes his rather nervous client was going to be up next and after all that chaos... The designer tries not to look too worried.

Mayday is next on the runway, driving slowly down it with his model riding side-saddle in her blue and white dress. Hopefully the sound equipment can't pick up his whimpering, but his model is being a sport and ignoring it, and he's doing a going job not trembling and swerving wildly. At the end of the runway, the model dismounts - much to Mayday's relief - showing off her outfit 1. He transforms, standing beside her and generally posing awkwardly and grinning nervously. When she turns and struts confidently back up the runway, he tries to do the same, but mostly scurries nervously.
Christopher has calmed down, though he keeps shooting glances at both their uninvited guests and Georgia. However, he sits up straight and pretty in anticipation of his own dress being shown. 1Full description here.

Oho, this Prime is willing to play? That just makes his grin widen, one eyebrow quirking in interest. "Hm, same to you. But hey, aside from me, nobody's perfect." He gives Rodimus one last wink before he's off. Knock Out doesn't even notice the human waving them over. He just moves to sit down and make himself as comfortable as he can be, leaning back in a pose that he knows is sexy, and taking the mic when it's offered to him. As for Needlenose's funny look and snort? That just gets a look of his own that says 'Can you blame me?'.
When the show gets underway, Knock Out, for when the camera pans to him, is shown to actually pay attention. He's leaning forward, hands folded underneath his chin and the index fingers forming a triangle that he holds against his face, his optics squinting critically. He does not say anything, but he does look occasionally to Needlenose, as if to silently discuss what they had just seen. Probably through radio, but the TV crew is not privy to his private communications.

Pee-Dee sits very quietly, watching all the dresses go by and womanfully restraining herself from asking Needlenose about his Targetmasters.
After everyone's designs are shown (or re-shown) for the judges, the designers are called up onto the runway to stand beside their models.
Heidi smiles at them. "We will be saving the judges' feedback for when we return to Parson's1. So let's hear about your designs!"
1. Because let us not roleplay that TOO MANY ROUNDS. ICly, because they're still in public.
Arright. What Heidi's asking for here is a short bit about what you were trying to accomplish with your design. Next time Pee-Dee is up, we'll shuffle all the judges off to judge things.

Christ's model stands next to him, subtly showing off her dress as to the judges as models are taught to do. Possibly Rodimus Prime is standing or sitting behind the runway, so that the judges can better compare the dress and the client, but that is up to Rodimus's player.
(Mirage is standing behind Greta and her model, BTW.)
Christ grins, "Well, it didn't take me long to figure out that Rodimus Prime is the flamboyant sort- just like me- but he's also one of his people's leaders. I wanted to capture some of that flirty extravagance of his but still keep the glam and posh that his station demands."
"He told me he really likes the color green, and obviously flames are a favorite detail of his." Christ gestures at the Prime, and continues, "I'm very happy with the finished product."

Rodimus is, indeed, standing behind Christ and his model. For the most part he shows his usual easy confidence, his photogenic smile settled firmly in place, though he does look faintly embarrassed when Christ emphasizes that he likes green. He can't help but wondering if that's going to come back and bite him.
Sean stands next to the model in his outfit and smiles. "Bluestreak's look is... relatively subdued. It's very classic, but at the same time seems to speak to the way people thought the world was heading a few decades ago. That and his colors are what inspired me to this look," Sean gestures, then he quirks a faint grin. "Of course, the fact that he's a robot doesn't hurt, either."
