Rodimus's optics continue to be almost unnaturally bright as he stares at the light well in the center of the room. Almost in a daze, he answers, "It's... it's life. Pure, concentrated... life. I think... I think it's this world's-"
And then he's cut off.

Metal groans horrifically and gives way with a high-pitched scream as two dark forms crash violently (and loudly) through the wall. Hellbender crashes to the floor, splashing water across the chamber; Scourge lands on top of him, both hands still gripping the Sword of Fury impaling the worm-former's shoulder. Still clutched in Hellbender's hand is Ravage's tail; Cybertronian-accented howls of feline rage can be heard from behind them. --- Ravage & Scourge posed with permission. OOC:Clio's player tells me she is skippable
As one might imagine, Ravage is not very happy at having been forcibly dragged from one thread into another. The screaming hellcat twists about in ways that a normal cat could not and launches himself at Hellbender's head. The fact that Scourge's bulk may or may not be in the way does matter to Ravage. There is in the cat's mind only the driving urge to kill, to rend and tear and maim.
Victoria slips through the break in the wall. There are several advantages to being so small, and being able to avoid giant brawling robots is one of those advantages.
Her purple eyes meet the optics of Rodimus Prime as she takes in the Autobot's demeanor. There is an almost resigned air about her as she speaks. Her voice echos oddly in the room, the air of which now seems oddly charged.
"You are correct, Prime."
She looks at the tangle which is Scourge, Hellbender, and Ravage, then her eyes search out Starscream, wherever the jet might be.
"I tried to warn you," she says softly.

Starscream was never trying to protect Hellbender. He's a big bot, he can take care of himself. Starscream was trying to protect Starscream. He doesn't want to get into a fight with Hellbender. Someone could get seriously damaged. Besides, one does not fight one's subordinates. One punishes them. If they're big, this can involve taking them by surprise or having flunkies work them over first. Such are the privileges of rank. Fighting someone head-on implies they're a threat to you. That's not an idea you want your inferiors to get into their heads when you're a Decepticon.
Starscream might have communicated all this to Scourge in a private transmission, but he doesn't get the chance. "You stupid, impulsive little hatchling!" he shrieks as the tanker launches himself at Hellbender and sends them both tumbling through the wall.
"Autobots!" he shouts, pointing a claw at Rodimus Prime and Seaspinner as he spots them through the ruined bulkhead. "Decepticons, battle order!" //Leave the worm for later, Lord Scourge, Rodimus Prime is here with only a puny Maximal to keep us from ripping the Matrix from his chest,// he transmits. Scourge likes Matrices, right? Go fetch!
The jetformer rises up on his jets to get a better shot at Seaspinner, deploying and firing his gatling gun, aiming to take out the vulnerable target first.
He plans to stay at the edge of the battle, out of the Prime's reach. Let Scourge take the brunt of the fighting. When the battle is over, Scourge should be damaged and weak, while Starscream just needs refueling. It'll be the perfect opportunity to relieve the insolent pup of his command . . . out an airlock or three if necessary.

Scourge does not care about the Autobot and Maximal. He does not care what the human has to say.
He does see what Starscream is trying to do, though, and he does not approve.
Scourge growls, "One chance, Hellbender. Kill the Prime for me now, and I'll listen to your excuses." He summons his trailer and adds, //Starscream, squash the bug.//

Seaspinner screams in surprise as the Decepticons crash into the room, rearing up on her back-most legs for a moment. Then Starscream starts to fire, bullets peppering the floor at her feet - and ow! That was one of her legs! Good thing she has extra - and she rushes for the shadows and straight up the nearest wall. Drawing her bow from subspace as she goes, she quickly tugs a serrated tooth-tipped arrow from her beast mode's mouth and fires it in Starscream's direction. She aims for his gun arm as well as she can, but aiming on the move isn't exactly the easiest task.
Goodness, she's glad she came online with some combat knowledge in her data tracks, as barbaric and exciting as she finds the whole business.

There Rodimus is, attempting to puzzle out the mysteries of life, when far too much of it comes crashing through the wall.
He spins towards the intruders, optics still far too bright, and summons his photon eliminator from subspace without thinking. He is warrior, he is protector, and this is life that must be protected, even if that means ending life. Such is the conflict of his existence.
He lifts his weapon towards the dark clone of his predecessor but is distracted by the arrival of... a human?
He knows this human.
And in a flash, he knows why.
His optics go wide in shock as he stares at her. "Shockw-!"
And then the pool glows brilliant white, washing out the world.
OOC: And this is it, ladles and jellyspoons. A wave of energy washes across the world and near-space, turning things not-of-Earth into things-of-Earth, attempting to subvert the invaders and trying to 'fit them in' so that they don't remember they're invaders. It doesn't always work, and it doesn't always work perfectly, as has been detailed on the OOC board. Humanization is go.
You guys are free to do a final reactionary post, but everyone who's getting humanized is getting 'poofed' away in the flash, so you won't be human in the middle of the base (many other characters will also be 'teleported' into their new lives).

Hellbender has a screaming hellcat trying to claw off his head, and that's right distracting. He also has an uncanny large red sword through his shoulder, and it hurts like hell--and one arm is immobilized. He brings the other arm up to protect his optics from Ravage, trusting his armor cowl to keep the hellcat out of his cranial case.
"Ah ain't doing nothin' on the floor with you and your sword pinning me down," Hellbender growls as he tries to push Scourge away. He turns his head toward Lady Victoria. "Need orders from Lord Shockwave--does he confir---"
And then the white light hits him.
--- Hellbender has gone poofy

OOC: Because Ravage and Starscream demanded that I go now.
Scourge hates Hellbender. That pompous windbag can't even follow a direct order to save his own life!
A fuzzy thought hits him. Shockwave? The purple-haired woman?
Then the light takes Scourge, and he is gone.

Suddenly there's a flash and Starscream is the only Transformer in the room.1 He hovers on his jets for a few moments, scanning the chamber with his guns just to make sure Rodimus Prime isn't going to reappear. Satisfied that the combat is indeed over, he lands in front of the little human, dropping into a predatory crouch so his face is at her eye-level. The posture is meant to demonstrate how much bigger he is than her.
"I seem to have found myself with time to listen to your explanations, human."
1. Unless Ravage didn't poof. I'm not entirely clear on this.

Victoria arches an eyebrow at Starscream as he invades her personal space. "Curious. You were not affected. I wonder if the Well's ability was overtaxed."
She is wrong about that conjecture, very wrong, but she does not know that yet.
"A boon for you indeed, Starscream, for you have within your grasp that for which you've often wished," a slight smile, "though there are still obstacles."
She steps away from the jet, apparently as unconcerned over the danger he presents as she was over Scourge's attack. Bending at the knee, she squats down and picks up a scrawny black cat that was not previously in the room. The cat snuggles up against her chin and stares at Starscream with too-knowing purple eyes.
She waves a hand to indicate the mostly empty room. "They have all most likely been turned human, unless the Well decided they fit a better mold, as it seems to have done with Ravage. But that is what it did to me when I first came here."
"You do realize who I am now, surely? The Prime was correct."

A housecat? Not a panther? Okay, sure. To Starscream the difference between the two is about as meaningul as the difference between a cockroach and a flea.
"And what obstacles would those be? I'm sure you have a logical plan to surmount them. Just as you must have a logical reason for me not to kill you and the sole witness to your death right now. Some mechanisms might call yourself an obstacle to me, Shockwave."
Starscream straightens up. "Speaking of logical, why did you summon us here and then not contact us?"

Victoria levels a cool look at Starscream, "Hellbender is bound by his very code as my creature, and even he did not immediately accept me in this form. I am not so foolish as to think that I can lead my people like this. Ever has the strongest prevailed in that position, and while my mind is as it ever was, my body is not."
"Yet you are still mine, and so I provide what I can. You have found some of the energon deposits already, I know."
She smiles slightly, "While I certainly am an obstacle to you in the long term, at the moment I am more an asset. Or have I misjudged and you are so insecure in your abilities that you would fear a human supplanting your leadership?"

"I hardly fear you supplanting me as you are now. But you're clever enough to find a way out of that sack of meat long before it expires. At any rate, I'd rather you be in command than Scourge if I'm not to be," Starscream responds, slowly reaching down a hand, palm open.
"Unless you've further mysterious business here, we'd best return to base."

Victoria gives the proffered hand an appraising glance before stepping into the open palm. Is it to be trust between them?
Hardly.
"No. My purpose in coming was to try and stop you all from becoming trapped as well, and perhaps to allow the Autobots to be so. With the Prime out of the way, they would be less a threat."
"Let us go."
OOC: fade thread, or do you want some more back and forth?
