Hellbender frowns at Scourge, and the third eye of his shoulder-mounted heavy laser's fire control winks at Scourge and Starscream. He raises one open hand. "Now, that's enough right there! Y'all might oughta give Lady Victoria the courtesy of speakin' her piece, seein' as she's awaitin' politely for y'all to get here in person and hear it. 'Cause if you and me start tusslin'," Hellbender looks straight at Scourge, "we're like to wreck the whole base, which would be really, really bad for reasons you don't know yet, and you couldn't hear Lady Victoria over the racket nohow."
There's something subtly different about the way Hellbender stands, like there was something different about the way he transformed. Pieces slid over each other in a slightly different pattern than they did before, and did Ravage perhaps get a glimpse of turbofans as Hellbender's legs slid into place?

Clio is going hang back for the moment and make sure the shuttle is prepped and ready to leave when they need it. If they decide to engage in further exploration - or someone insists - she'll join them, but really, if the two Decepticon commanders and a bladey death-cat can't deal with one soldier and a human, then she'd rather not get involved with that fight. And probably wouldn't make much of a different either.
So unadventurous, sweetheart, Patra sighs.
It keeps one alive, Clio responds. And her little Nebulon too.

One corner of the woman's lips twitch up slightly as Hellbender speaks up. He is, has always been, her most loyal, her most concerned.
She is human, frail, so fragile, and she should show some worry at the advance of two formidable mechanisms, worry that she will not survive this experience. She shows none.
Victoria Raines pitches her voice so that it should carry to all the Decepticons present. "Come now, are we to be so typical of our faction that we will fight among ourselves when there are Autobots closer to the prize then you? Though it is much less a prize than you think, I assure you."
Her eyes fix on the sword in Scourge's hands. "Tell me, did you ever reclaim it, or is that still a mere facsimile?" she asks as the tanker stalks closer.
Ravage tenses.

Something is very off here.
//I would advise caution, Lord Scourge,// Starscream transmits back, assuming his most servile tone and posture, much as it galls him to kow-tow to the young tanker. //Hellbender is right, we could bring this whole place down.//
"I'm less interested in hearing what the cryptic little human has to say, and more interested in hearing an explanation for your desertion, Hellbender. We'd be well within our rights to execute you immediately," he says, stepping out to stand next to Scourge- or as close as he can get in the narrow corridors.

Starscream's reaction, Scourge reflects bitterly, is not unpredictable. After Shockwave left, Hellbender became Starscream's creature. Of course Starscream would want to preserve his creature. By the same coin, however, Scourge ought to call for Hellbender's immediate extermination.
He says simply, "I do not follow the orders of those who abase themselves by following humans," and he springs into a powerful lunge, fully intending to nail Hellbender to the wall with the Sword of Fury clear through him.
Scourge can operate underwater, remember? He's not afraid of getting wet. He doesn't care if Hellbender looks different or if the human is acting strangely, saying things that she should not know. Hellbender needs to die now, because Starscream tried to protect him. Everything else can wait for later.
//Kill, Ravage.//

Hellbender moves in front of Lady Victoria--he recognizes that crouch of Ravage's. The hellcat is poised to attack, and Victoria is all too vulnerable to the assassin's deadly speed and savagery. "Not hardly. Ah'm acting on orders from higher up," Hellbender growls at Starscream. A thread of water trickles down the hall, but the sullen rumble of too many engines in confined space hides the quiet babble of the new brook. The big worm-former tenses, ready for combat-- Scourge's lunge still takes him by surprise. He expected them to at least listen to him before attacking--at least to learn of dangers here, or what powers are behind them. Hellbender got too used to a Decepticon who always acts logically and does not know the meaning of 'impulsive'. His mistake--wasn't this why he preferred Starscream, because Scourge was far too impulsive and inexperienced to lead? The Sword of Fury catches on Hellbender's right shoulder-cop and stabs in, deeply, driving to the hilt through the worm-former's body as Scourge bodyslams into Hellbender. Inertia takes over, and Hellbender crashes into the wall with all of Scourge's power behind him--a wall intended to keep water out in the event of the adjacent section being flooded. It was never built to keep rampaging monsters in. Ravage, heeding Scourge's order, lunges for Victoria--only to be brought up short as Hellbender desperately grabs his tail on the way past. He scrabbles at the decking, claws leaving long scars in the tiles as he is dragged headlong. Hellbender crashes through the wall, the narrow accessway beyond, and through the next wall into the central chamber, landing with a splash on the flooded floor-- Not very far from Seaspinner. ----- Please join us over here Ravage and Scourge posed with permission.
