OOC: Month 6, Week 2, Day 1. This is the Decepticon Spin-Off from "Under the Sea."
Starscream looks out the forward viewport of the Decepticon shuttle, squinting into the mostly-featureless blue darkness. This is a disgusting planet, really. Water is awful. It rusts ferric components, shorts electrical ones, sloshes around inside open spaces. Also, it makes it difficult to run a jet engine. And this planet is covered in it, and the life-forms here are made of it. Disgusting.
"What's our ETA? Can't you get any more power out of the engines?" he snaps at whoever is driving.

Ravage isn't the one driving. He's out in the murky depths, swimming further ahead of the ship, scouting. He doesn't particularly like the cold wet dark, but it bothers him but little. The cat comes up short and eyeballs the over-sized red squid that is hovering in the shuttle's path. A scan of data shows that the specimen shouldn't be nearly so larger as it is. Th great cat snorts. He can taste some sort of current in the water, something metallic. As he drifts closer to the squid, he notices that his joints aren't moving as smoothly. Backpeadling, the cat radios //Suggest shifting course {insert numbers here} left. Right now.//

Scourge is driving along the other under ocean, because driving under the ocean is something he does. He's many meters behind Ravage, and he's there to cover the shuttle from...
...what is with this Riftia pachyptila? It is projecting a flickering green holographic image of... more tube worms.
That's just weird.
Scourge drives around it, following Ravage's directions.
//Agreed.//

Clio doesn't bother looking up from the controls when Starscream addresses her. She has a shuttle to drive, after all.
"ETA: approximately one breem, Lord Starscream," she answers. "We are currently running at maximum efficiency. An increase in speed will result in a drop in fuel economy." Which isn't to say she won't speed up if he tells her to, she just wants to let him know what's what.

One breem? People actually still use Imperial Standard units? Ugh.
"Oh, very well," he snaps, about to turn away from the viewport and start pacing back and forth across the cabin just for something to do when he catches something out of the corner of his optic.
"Did that school of fish just teleport?" he asks, placing a hand on the back of the control chair and leaning forward to peer into the gloom.
//Scourge, Ravage, can you confirm a school of fish at [coordinates]?// He's pretty sure Earth life shouldn't be able to do that.

//Confirmed.// A few seconds later. //Gone.//
A short bit later, Ravage transmits a set of coordinates.
//Docking bay.//

//Yes. And the tube worms project holograms,// Scourge grunts.
He rolls off toward the coordinates Ravage has transmitted.

Commanding officers, Patra thinks to Clio with the impression of rolling her eyes. Can't live with them, can't shoot them in the back, hm?
Clio lets a small grin curl the corners of her mouth, as she alters course again to head for the aforementioned docking bay. You couldn't pay her to lead the Decepticons. She doesn't even like leading research teams when her subordinates aren't handpicked and obedient.

Having relayed the docking bay coordinates, Ravage continues in his role of scout, locating a human-sized decontamination chamber that leads from the bay into the lab. Upon entering, the water drains from the chamber and the decon cycle starts. Interesting, that at least some of this facilities systems are still online, a fact he relays to the others. Too bad the lighting is not one of those systems. Out of the chamber, he pads carefully down a hall. There's an odd sort of glowing fungi or coral creature growing on the walls, something Ravage saw in the docking bay as well. It provides some sort of light at least. Something that can live in water and out, cultivated in case of emergency, perhaps? The great cat draws up short at an intersection, head up and scenting the air. Two scents. One he knows. The other is human. It tickles at his olfactory sensors as if he should know it, but he has never encountered it before. Metal slides on metal and a familiar bulk slides out of the eerie dark. Ravage crouches and backs up, snarling. It is Hellbender and there is a human female seated daintily upon his back. "Hello Ravage," the female says. OOC: Posing of Hellbender with player permission
Also, I didn't skip Starscream. Posting order was different before the thread got split.

Starscream runs a quick weapons diagnostic as the shuttle approaches the human facility. No telling what to expect there, with all the weirdness around here.
Then Ravage makes a radio transmission.
Starscream runs another weapon diagnostic, because now he does know what to expect, and it has really thick armor.

Hellbender... and a human woman.
Hmm.
Scourge hopes she doesn't have teal hair and violet eyes.
He drives into the docking bay and transforms. With a heavy tread, he catches up until he's just in sight of Ravage's spiky tail, and there he waits.

Clio guides the shuttle into the docking bay after Ravage, not quite managing to keep it from scraping along one of the walls with a moan of metal. Really, she has enough piloting skills to convince a ship to get her from planet to planet, but she's no expert. Still, she manages to set the shuttle down gently after that mishap, but it's going to be a little cramped getting out of the ship.
Then she puzzles over the bay doors. "You can leave now, Lord Starscream, if you don't mind getting things a little wet." They can always vent the water out of the shuttle, as annoying as losing their atmosphere would be.
She's not quite as quick on the draw as Rodimus Prime when it comes to figuring out human systems.

Ravage is confused, and when the cat becomes confused or frustrated, he tends to fall back on the more feral of his thought processes. Every cable and line in his body nearly vibrates from tension, so much does he want to leap and rend this interloping human limb from limb. It is merely Hellbender's bulk that keeps Ravage in place.
For now.
He continues to snarl and backs a few more paces away from the woman. Air currents bring Scourge's scent to Ravage, but the cat does not turn.
The woman slides off Hellbender's back. As she does so, the worm transforms. The woman does not have teal hair, though she does have violet eyes. Her hair is instead a deep purple that is almost black, striking against her very pale skin. She is tall, much taller than the average human female, and is currently dressed in a well-tailored pantsuit covered by an equally well- tailored lab coat. Those who follow the human news and technologies might recognize the woman as the CEO of Kao-Nic Technologies.
Her head tilts slightly to one side as she spies the glow from Scourge's optics.
"Let us wait until the rest of the party catches up before we discuss business, shall we?"
The woman's voice has a cadence, accent, and timbre that might be disturbingly familiar to some, though it is certainly a female voice.

Starscream exits the shuttle, scanning his surroundings with a trained eye. Enclosed space, little room to move around, surrounded by water. Hardly his ideal battlefield. At least there's plenty of cover, if it comes to it.
He stalks up behind Scourge, peering around the big tanker.
//What are we waiting for?// he transmits over a tight beam to the other Decepticon.

Scourge stopped when he could see Ravage's tail, so he stopped a fair way down the depths of the hallway.
Despite this precaution, he hears the woman speaking, albeit only faintly. Perhaps Hellbender warned her?
//Mm. I wanted surprise, but I don't think we'll get it. Thrash Hellbender first, ask questions later?//
He draws the Sword of Fury (which is actually a replica - Ultra Magnus has the original) and stalks off toward the woman.
