Skype name 'mechanova.king'
I wanting to run a live RPG campaign on vital table top via roll20.net Kind of like Dungeons and Dragons but with energon [planned to go for maybe 5-8 games, mic required]
I've been trying to get a game together for a while. But it's hard to find transformer fans amongst a DnD crowd.
As a default it's be set in classic G1 cartoon's world, with your own characters. I have two idea for game set and planned.
But I'd would like to talk to any who are interested; if they'd rather play another Transformers' setting. Anything from Beast Wars to Prime. Or perhaps a new setting in WW2, or Victoria Britain, or what/when ever! And which side they like to be on, Autobots? Decepticons? Unicron? Quintesson? StarSeekers? Predacon? Maximal? Or your only side?
The system is home brew which my friend and I have been working on for 3 years. It's alot better than most homebrews I've seen, and I feel it fits the setting very well. It uses the old G1 toy tech spec as a bases for the stats. One roll to decide most actions in the game. A very large selection of weapons, powers, team abilities, skills, and alternate modes (What you change into). And you'd be hard pressed to find anything not in this.
So...who want's to "ROLL OUT" a character?

I'm going to go ahead and ask this here, since I know there are a few others who've shown interest and they might want to know, too.
So anyway, just how randomized is the character creation process?

It could be, I have charts of powers and weapons. I could easily make it random. In fat 5 days ago i randomly rolled up a Autobot who turned into a lighting repair. But you'll be able to make your character how you want right from the get go.

No...i tell a lie.
I have no point buy system. The base stats of the game (str, int, spd, End, Rank, courage, firepower, skill). You need to roll 8 10-sided dice (or use a program).
And take those numbers and slot them into the stats/tech-specs
I normally like rolling down the line and see what i get.

Naw, you didn't say it was random, which is why I asked, "How randomized?" From your initial post, it could have been point buy, semi-random, completely random, or something else entirely.

HAZA! People have started to message me and contact me in various ways about my game. Through PMs on this page, on skype and on this campaign page (http://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/28298/transformers)
Someone asked if I could do a WWII setting. That'd be different, but cool. If anyone around these parts still wants in or wants to ask questions. Send me a message to somehow. XD
