Since getting noticed by Starscream really isn't in Professor Sharp's game plane, Mistwind's reaction couldn't be more useful. He bows forward, lifting off his hat as he does. "Only to happy to be of service!" he cheerfully proclaims, and then he quickly hurries off in the direction indicated, glancing up to make sure that the other two aren't looking in his direction. They appear to be focused on each other...

"Gyaaah!" Bluestreak flings his arms up to find Starscream off as the big Bayformer knocks him off his feet. He goes down on his back with the dull thud of a ton or so of metal landing in thick dirt, with several more tons of Starscream on top. Good thing the field isn't muddy, because getting back up is going to be... difficult as it is.
The buzzsaw comes down just past Bluestreak's face and splits one of his rocket launchers open, disabling it. Bluestreak grabs Starscream's other arm with his other hand and wrestles it away from his remaining rocket launcher--but he's still solidly pinned.
"Get off me, you Decepticreep!" What the slag is he going to do now?

Starscream isn't trying to kill Bluestreak. Not yet, anyway. He wants to have some fun first, and then maybe pump him for information.
The insolent little runt has grabbed his arm. The jetformer struggles to free it, but he's not having much success. Whatever else one might say about him, this Autobot seems to have a good grip. Fortunately for Starscream, he has two arms. The one that currently has a circular saw on the end moves toward Bluestreak's neck. Exposing some circuitry there ought to loosen his grip.
"I'm going to enjoy this," Starscream hisses.

Of course, Mistwind will probably scour databanks now for that familiar face. So Professor Sharp should keep an eye out for a little house-call at some point.
But for now, he waits. It looks like the fight will be short. Mistwind wonders if he still needs to hide.... but since he didn't get an order, he'll just stay where he is!

The fact that Professor Sharp wears goggles that obscure part of his face might well make database matching more difficult, though certainly not impossible; after all, he's an active "supervillain," and has successfully evaded capture so far.
Either way, he's currently scurrying away, heading for the nearest cover, and from there, he carefully makes his way back to his car.
OOC: Out of thread.

Bluestreak was trying to summon his rifle with his free hand, but suddenly he has a more urgent task for that hand. He grabs wildly at Starscream's saw arm, trying to grab it behind the whirling blade--
"Ow!" One of his fingertips goes flying--but does he manage to stop Starscream from giving him an unauthorized access port in his neck? Perhaps, just maybe, if he gets lucky, the Autobot can grab the whirly blade mount hard enough to bend it out of line and jam it... Is he lucky today?

We are treated to five minutes of toy commercials.
<We now return to The Transformers.>1
Bluestreak manages to get a hold of the blade mount for Starscream's saw, and is starting to bend it out of alignment when the Decepticon transforms it back into a hand, snarling. That transformation hurt. Impertinent Autobot. Spindly fingers lash out for Bluestreak's face, talons seeking to find purchase under a lip, in an eye socket, the seam where helmet meets face, anywhere, trying to pull.
"I bet you look just like us underneath once I get your pretty little face off," he hisses.
1 We are treated to more toy commercials, but with worse animation.

Transfixed, Mistwind follows the fight from his cover. His face is a grim, dark scowl of disapproval. He's not sure why but it bothers him that this Autobot, having come to his S.O.S. signal, is now being mauled for it.
Carelessness of the Autobot. He can file it away under that and feel better about it. (He won't )

Starscream's claws dig in and tear a gash open in Bluestreak's face, from one optic to his chin guard. The thin, flexible metal, designed to respond to the pseudo-muscles beneath and provide expressions to amuse the ancient Builders, tears like tinfoil; the much more solid chin guard does not. Damaged wiring sparks inside the horrid gash.
Bluestreak does not cry out, though from his damaged expression, he's in pain; he grabs at Starscream's re-transformed hand and tries to pull it away. "Decepticreep! It isn't your build that makes you ugly, Screamer!" he snarls back. "Your rottenness goes clear to the core!"

"Ugly? No, I simply have nothing to hide," Starscream growls back calmly, face twisting in what could charitably be called a smile. "Do all you Autobots just naturally spout the most cliched dialog you can think of, or does Optimus Prime have to train you?" he asks.
He allows the little Autobot to push his talons away from his delicate little paper-thin face. That's fine. He'll just put his hands under Bluestreak's shoulders and ignite his jets. This has the effect of dragging Bluestreak along the ground for a short way, digging a furrow and ruining a perfectly good crop of grain, before Starscream generates sufficient lift to get off the ground.
He flies straight up, face to face with Bluestreak as the wind whistles past them, the clouds approaching and the ground receding until the little grain field is a distant yellow square. Then he lets go of Bluestreak and kicks him in the torso, sending him sailing away as he deploys his wrist blades.
"It's been a while since I've had the opportunity to really enjoy myself," he all but purrs as he jets toward the plummeting carbot.

For the first time since Starscream ambushed him, Bluestreak is not grappling the powerful Decepticon. There is, in fact, quite a bit of air between them. Air that is blowing past Bluestreak at an alarming speed as he plummets, but enough airspace--
To fire his remaining shoulder missile straight at Starscream.
"'Fraid you're going to have to miss out on enjoying yourself again," Bluestreak taunts. He doesn't wait to see the results of his missile, but summons his rifle even as he taunts the Decepticon leader. There will be a follow-up shot.

Starscream is ready for the missile this time. He's not happy about it, but he's ready for it. He's seen it before and knows it splits into four smaller missiles. And this time he doesn't have to conserve enough fuel to make it from Mars to Earth.
He spins into an evasive maneuver, dodging and weaving as he loops downwards and then back up again, finishing behind and above the Autobot (relative to their previous orientations.) He fully intends to make those missiles work if they want to hit him. If one of them happens to hit Bluestreak in passing, that's good too.
He's not attacking the little pest (yet), focusing all his energy on evading attack. There'll be plenty of precious seconds to maul him later. And then, of course, he'll hit the ground.

Bluestreak twists in air, trying to follow Starscream's flight, incidentally avoiding his own missiles. This isn''t the most difficult shot he's ever taken (that one involved an exploding building underneath him and a Seeker weaving between skyscrapers full of civilians carrying a vital, highly unstable component of Megatron's Weapon of the Week) , but it's definitely up there. He fires the ion rifle straight at Starscream's mid-section, tracking him and pulling the trigger as fast as he can until--
The ground came up really fast and really, really hard.

Starscream's torso is peppered with ion rifle fire, blasting him full of sparking holes and sending lightning arcing over his superstructure as he howls in pain and rage. He dives, straight toward Bluestreak, his engines combining with the Earth's gravity to propel him downward, missiles hot on his tail.
His facial plates are set in a grimace as he accelerates toward the insolent Autobot pest. He looks over his shoulder to check the range on the missiles. The motion dislodges something that got loosened by the rifle blasts. An engine sputters and dies and Starscream is spiralling downward where before he was diving. A missile impacts, then another, then the Decepticon hits the ground at speed, all but on top of Bluestreak.
"You dropped these. Thought I'd return them," he hisses, optics flashing, as the final two missiles hit.

The ground was not soft at all, for all that it was spongy, damp soil. Bluestreak slammed into the ground with a force that cracked plating, sprung joints, and bent limbs. His gyros were still tumbled, his processors knocked off line and still waiting for the watchdog to reboot them when Starscream smashed down, nearly taking Bluestreak's already bent and twisted arm off.
The missiles were just icing on the cake; though they hit Starscream, they were far too close. The explosion blackened Bluestreak's front side and shattered optics already cracked by impact with the ground.
Bluestreak wasn't going anywhere on his own for a long, long time.
