The Crimson Cavalier is on patrol tonight!
Part of him feels he should come up with a better name than 'Crimson Cavalier,' but part of him is just pleased that it has 'Cavalier' in it, so he'll probably just stick with the name.
Currently, he's over the city proper, a red streak of light in the night sky, and he's not yet noticed a suspiciously familiar car leaving Belle Isle, but his patrol will take him in that direction soon enough.
OOC: BTW, Hotaru is out of thread.

The car makes it to Detroit proper in approximately no time flat. Its route just happens to take it towards the man in the super suit.

Crouched on a building ledge slightly above the city streets, a woman waits, eyes scanning the area. She is very impractically dressed in three inch red and black heels, fishnet stockings, and black, pleated leather skirt that teases the reader with the idea of some fanservice without actually delivering. The ensemble is topped off with a black mesh off-the shoulder top over a barely-there red spaghetti strap tank. One half of the woman's face is painted with white face paint, and her red lips stand out stark against her face.
Nightshade can barely contain her excitement. Sable said to wait here and she'd bring her a present!
She looks up at the red streak overhead Oh, there's the new member of the spandex brigade. Doesn't he know, real men wear metal- and are women?

Well, it looks like he won't have to chase the car down, at least. It's headed his way, and were he a little more experienced, he'd know that when things look easy like this, it spells trouble. He's too thrilled at this opportunity landing in his lap to mind all that, however, and he watches the car to get a gauge of its speed. He just has to time it (and hope he isn't spotted at the last second so the driver can try to steer around him) and he should be able to land on the car even from this height.
Despite the surety that he can manage this, the lines of his suit take on a more yellowy tinge as he makes his leap at an angle that should have his descent arc end on the hood of the car.

The driver is not used to driving really fast cars or cars at all (trucks, yes).
So the jumper should easily make that leap to the hood.
Mordred's eyes widen under the mask at the suited person on the hood. A few miles go by as Mordred tries to formulate a plan. Mordred needs this car intact.
Mordred makes a sharp left turn through a red.

And now he spots the car, and... wait, no, that can't be...?
It isn't, it's going too slow to be him.
But 'slow' is relative (light, of course, is not relative, a fact that Blurr ignores), and it's fast enough that he won't be able to do a strict chase. However, from where he is, he can angle his flight to try and cut the thing off, at least.
Of course, if it gets caught by an off-duty cop in a power suit, he'll probably have to change his flight plans...

He makes the target and… finds himself staring at Mordred. If he wore a normal mask, he'd be goggle-eyed right now. Hollister stays silent and thanks the designer of his suit – whoever it may be – that the helmet is a blank-faced thing. He crouches low on the hood for balance only to scramble for a handhold when the car abruptly turns. The gripping surfaces on the soles of his feet leave little scuffs on the car's finish.
Now to stop this before it can get much further. But how? He could try just putting himself in front of it and pushing… but can the suit do that? How badly will he get hurt if it can't? It can take a bullet, he knows that, but it still hurts. Well, if he can live through it, Hollister decides, he'll manage. He shuffles backwards so he can shove his feet to the pavement, intent on making himself into a brake.

Mordred is displeased by what the suited man is doing to this car's finish. It is a gift.
He's also trying to... stop the car? Wha~?
Mordred puts the car into reverse.

And it's that reversal that lets Crimson Cavalier catch up. And there's... already another cape fighting him?
That car looks very much like Blurr. Up close, it becomes even clearer.
The Cavalier positions himself behind the vehicle in an attempt to box it in. His protective aura was already in place when he arrived. He's not sure who did what wrong, but he also doesn't want anyone to leave until he finds out. Which prompts his demand of, "All right, just what the blazes is going on here?"
It should be painfully obvious to any Transformer observer who remember themselves just who this person really is. When he's powered up like this, he can't really hide the Matrix.

The car suddenly reverses and Hollister has to scramble to avoid being dragged on his face or losing the car altogether. He grabs frantically for something like a bumper, but the car doesn't have anything as such – neither does the Autobot it's built to resemble, so that makes sense – and his gloves don't grip well enough for him to keep hold on it. Momentum sends him tumbling forward; rather than brace for the fall, he tucks his shoulder under and rolls back to his feet.
He stops right there, staring at the Cavalier. No, there's no mistaking this man.
"Rodimus Prime, sir!" he blurts out. The helmet stifles his cry, however. it rings in his ears without reaching beyond the aluminosilicate surface. He forgot about that. He initiates a search for the audio commands and leaves it to run while he keeps his attention on the action.

If Mordred could hear Hollister's words, there are such things she would do. They're lucky she can't. As it is, the man in red is rather blatantly obvious. She back the car just a bit more and parks it off to the side. Really, she should take advantage and just run now.
Mordred just can't help herself. Her sword thirsts for the spine of a Prime. One of the doors flies open, and she exits the Blurr-like car. Mordred purrs, "Ah, a fanboy of one of those aliens." That's a provocative statement, isn't it?
"What's going on is that..." she summons her blazing sword and taking a flying leap, intending to put the blade through that pretty blue globe on the Cavalier's chest, "...you're bleeding out and dying."

Sable told Nightshade to wait in a particular spot for her present.
Nightshade has never been good at waiting for her pleasures.
The femme fatale leaps from the shadows of a ledge and lands on Rodney's back. This may or may not result in Rodney getting scratched badly by the razors extended from her fingers.
"Can't a guy get his girl a present without the local spandex brigade interfering?" she purrs.
She doesn't plan on staying on Rodney's back long, because Mordred is getting out of the car- the lovely, lovely car!- and drawing her sword. Edgeplay is fine, but Nightshade likes a different kind of swordplay.
The problem is that almost as soon as she touched him, that buried third in Nightshade and Tasha's shared mind snapped into control with almost perfect focus- and immediately froze.
Pouncing with permission.

Cavalier, also, can't make out Hollister's words under the muffled mask, though his gaze briefly darts towards the other. But in the next moment, he has some distractions to deal with.
When Mordred calls him a 'fanboy of the aliens,' Cavalier smirks. He's not displayed the Matrix since coming to Earth. No human would know to recognize it. But besides... the sword... the dark armor. "You give yourself away, Scourge," he answers lowly.
And then Scourge - erm, Mordred - is charging at him, and someone lands on his back. The claws don't scratch through - his protective aura manages that much - and as she freezes, he takes action, twisting to the right (a move made even easier with the advantage flight gives him - Kup will give him hell about this, but he'll kind of miss it when he's back to normal) and, in the same motion, tosses the person on his back towards Mordred.
OOC: Throwing of Nightshade with permission.

He should help. They're ganging up on Rodimus Prime. But Hollister doesn't have the brass to think he can tackle Mordred. He isn't even sure he can get in close without making himself a liability.
A taxicab oncoming from the left puts him into motion again and he leaps aside by a good three or four meters, leaving cracks in the blacktop where he pushes off. He lands, rolls, then circles the brawl to see if he can find a good opportunity to strike.

Mordred halts her charge, stows her blade, and holds her arms out to catch Nightshade, as any knight would carry her lady. She snaps, "Get to the car and get away. I can handle these two clowns. Rodimus Prime, is the other one of yours or is that a native? I just want to know how much it's going to hurt you if I kill it first."
