"You're not hurting anyone, Scourge," Rodney snaps back, not answering the other's question. Really, as far as the Cavalier knows, that's a human, but it doesn't matter. He has no intention of letting Scourge kill anyone, no matter who they are.
(And their deaths would all hurt the Cavalier, either way, though some more so than others.)
He swings his hands in front of him and attempts to blast the Decepticons-in-flesh, making sure his angle is such that he won't risk the kid in the suit if there's a miss (the car, maybe).

He still can't seem to find the vocal output commands. Hollister grumbles a curse and decides he'll tackle it later, when he doesn't have to worry about not getting killed. He has a goal now, at least – stop them from stealing the prototype. He can't issue any dramatic challenges of his own, but his body language is challenge enough. The illuminated lines on his suit shift from a yellowy green to a bright red-violet as he plots his path to intercept Nightshade.
Then he takes off, getting a running start before bolting up onto a building façade. He makes sure to give Mordred a wide berth – and himself time to react in case Mordred strikes at him.

By the time Nightshade is secure in Mordred's arms, it really is Nightshade back again. She's obviously shaken, however, and clings to Mordred for just a few seconds more than is prudent before slipping away and heading for the car.
Except there's someone in the way. "My aren't you just the cutest thing?" she purrs, "Let's play."
She flexes the razor nails extended from her fingertips.

Mordred steps in to try to take the hit for the both of them. She grunts in pain. Yes, she's going to be feeling this tomorrow. Mordred hisses out, "You haven't answered my question. Nightshade, make him scream."
The Mordred surges forward, trying to hit the Crimson Cavalier with an overhead chop of her burning blade.

OOC: Looks like I'm skipping Rodney due to time-out?
Hollister… has no idea if this suit includes any weaponry. Not like it comes with a manual or anything, and all his menu surfing hasn't turned up anything. (Yet, he hopes.) He stares at Nightshade through the one-way faceplate and the HUD flashing readouts at him, and he just squares himself up. The gesture should be clear even without a vocal declaration to back it up.
You're not getting past me.

"That would be because I don't answer to you, Scourge," Cavalier snaps back, attempting to twist out of the way of the chop. It manages to just snag the edge of his left arm, slicing through his costume, and a trail of blood is left as it slices down his arm. He cries out in pain, but chooses to leave it unhealed for now; he may need the energy.
As he twists, he moves forward and reaches up, attempting to make a grab for Mordred's arm and trap her in place. He can't spare more than a glance towards Nightshade - Nightshade? - and the fellow in armor; he only hopes whoever it is can take care of him or herself.

OOC: Skipping Nightshade due to timeout.
Mordred's arm is grabbed but only so that she can attempt to whirl around, drag the Cavalier into the air, and fling him into the nearest wall.
Darkly, Mordred observes, "What a thing it would be, if you did answer to me. I think my spider would like that very much."

"Honey, I'll make him sing," Nightshade replies to Mordred. She cocks her head at her opponent and smirks. "I like the suit, though it's a little dated in style, don'tcha think?" Though given that Nightshade looks like an eighties comics character come to life, she probably shouldn't be ragging on someone's fashion choices. Nightshade leaps at Hollister, knocking him over and tumbling them both into an alley and into another thread. They may possibly tumble back into this one at a later point. Cross-posted. Tumbling w/ permission

OOC: Skipping Holi due to time-out and being unsure if he's still in the thread.
Cavalier is flung towards a wall, but between his flight and the aura itself, he manages to cushion the blow considerably. He smirks at Mordred. "Why? Not keeping her satisfied on your own?" He twists, pointing himself towards his opponent and as though he were "standing" on the wall, crouching, and then he pushes away, using the movement to augment his own flight and springing again towards the Decepticon, flying low and aiming towards the legs, aura blazing a bit brighter, arms spread out to widen the area of any leg-sweep.

"Because it is obvious you were meant to serve, Autobot," Mordred snaps. She's knocked off her feet by the Cavalier but spits, "Knock me down if you can. Doesn't change the fact that you're the one meant to be on your knees."
She slams a hand down on the ground and a red circle starts to glow around her.

OOC: Hollister totally went tumbling out of thread back there and his player just missed the cue is all.

"It's not really an 'if I can' thing," Cavalier grins, gesturing to the fact that Mordred has, indeed, just been knocked down. "Besides, what makes you such a great judge on what I was "made" for?" His grin widens. "Does it have to do with why the Decepticons made you?"
He frowns at the circle on the ground, and the symbols, and steps forward, reaching towards it to get a 'feel' for that energy... and see if there's something he can do about it.

To be honest, just tackling Mordred would be more effective. It would break her concentration and ruin her set-up.
However, the Crimson Cavalier hasn't read Mordred's tech spec because Hasbro hasn't made her toy yet.
He can take the energy into him, but it's the sheer destructive energy needed to level a building.
How does he like the equivalent of a number of demolition charges going off inside him?

Cavalier realizes too late just how destructive that energy is... certainly too late to interrupt his concentration some other way. He does the only thing he can do - he absorbs the energy, the equivalent of several demolition charges, enough sheer destructive energy to level a building.
He screams and collapses.
His skin is red, swollen, and blistered, burned from the inside out. It would have killed almost anyone else. He still lives, and eventually, he'll be able to use his own excess life-force to heal himself.
But in the meanwhile, he's completely vulnerable, and Scourge is right there.

Mordred is confused. That shouldn't have happened! Still, her foe does not look well, and she'll figure out what happened later.
With her left hand, Mordred grabs the Cavaliar by whatever hair he might have left after that internal immolation to yank his head up, hard, and give her a good look at that neck of his. Right handed, she holds out her burning blade. Voice like black velvet, Mordred says, "Now you're just as crimson as your name, Cavalier. You shouldn't have meddled but I'll give you a death befitting of your station, Prime."
Beheaded, by a sword. Mordred starts to move her sword arm out.
OOC: Hair yanking done with permission.
