OOC: Skipping Carolyn due to time-out.
Cavalier continues to do whatever she needs to in order to duck the blonde, taking advantage of his energy field as necessary, but Stella's words catch his attention.
"What's syk? Who's Impactor?" he asks innocently. Of course, he knows the answer to this, but he wants Stella to actually think about what she just said.

"What is wrong?" Carolyn says icily, "What is wrong is that you stopped me from following Slaughter. If it were up to me I'd just beat the hell out of you and be done, but Control wants to see you."
Carolyn starts toward Rodney, but is fails to reach him, partially due to evasive maneuvers and and partially due to Stella's outburst. The sniper turns her cold glance toward Stella.
"What. The. <Firetruck> are you babbling about?"

"Syk's probably what you're on," Stella snaps back at the Cavalier, "Maybe a king-hit of engex. And slag - who doesn't know who Impactor is? Were you both built yesterday? Because I've said my piece on him in court, and I'm not gonna say it again."
She aims and fires her experimental weapon at one of the Cavalier's knees, which might knock him off balance enough for Carolyn to take him in.

"There was a roof falling on your head!" Cavalier exclaims, exasperated. Not that it matters since, from the sounds of things, they fully intended to bring him in, anyway. 'Control wants to see you,' hmm? And then worry about manufacturing the justification later, he supposes. Cavalier feels faintly ill at imagining Arcee as part of such an organization, but on the positive side, the more... emotional the situation, the more someone might slip, and more important, some other part of someone might slip through.
As the 'Stella' is nicely demonstrating.
It's difficult to dodge wind - and the shot does knock him off balance, although not entirely down, as he 'cheats' and uses his ability to fly to keep himself from falling completely.
"What's your name, Wrecker!" he demands of Stella, tone of voice suddenly crisp and commanding.
Rodimus Prime asked you a question, soldier.

Carolyn puts a hand to her forehead. Stella is saying things that are digging hard at the deeper recesses of her mind, and now is not the time to have a mental break. There is never a time to have a mental break when you're one of Control's puppets.
The crack of Rodney's voice, that note of command she recognizes so well might well have been meant for Stella, but for a moment, it cuts through Carolyn's defenses as well. She looks up at the Cavalier, confused.
"Roddy?"
The moment is gone in an instant, however, as her hand moves from her forehead to her ear, response to a screech of code and static that Stella may also be receiving. "Carolyn's" back in force now, and she snaps.
"Leave him, Stella! We can find him later. New orders. Need to collect Arlen and gate out!" She starts to move toward an exit, keeping one wary eye on Rodney.
OOC: Obviously, Stella following is entirely up to her player.

"Springer, sir," Springer grumbles, "and I can explain about Rack'n'Ruin and the fuel depot..."
But Stella follows Carolyn.
And is going to be wondering about what she just said when she has the spare time.

They're leaving.
So close! They both almost remembered, and they're leaving!
Cavalier steps after them, calling, "Wait!" Which is probably kind of foolish, because if the moment is passed, they probably just want to beat him up again.
But they're also closer to the door, and the authorities (the ones from someone besides highly shady agencies) are on their way, and Cavalier is unlikely to be able to stop them on their way out.
OOC: Wrap?
