Yeah, this is mostly silly. I don't expect us to make any changes anytime soon. Me? I prefer posting in present tense, because it makes handling things that will happen easier to write. I can just say, "this and that most likely will happen" instead of worrying about whether or not it should be "will have happened" or something like that. But that's just a personal preference.
So should we attempt some sort of standardization, or would that be oppressin' your tensin'?

I've voted for past, but that is more of a preference. No real big, and keeping it as is will be fine too.

I've gotten so used to posting in present tense. For me, it works better in RP than posting in past tense. (Though now I keep catching myself slipping when I go to work on fic and I start writing in present tense. Eh-heh.)
With the Autobots and the Decepticons mostly in their own isolated threads, and each group sticking to their own loose uniformity, the matter of tenses doesn't seem too much an issue at the moment and I haven't much of a preference toward standardisation either way, but if/when the groups start encountering and posting in the same threads, I think it'd be a good idea for everyone to agree on a tense. Otherwise, something like "Kup fires his acid laser musket at Skystrike; Skystrike banked to avoid" could get mighty confusing.

I...am an idiot and never really think about it, so I'm sure to a more strict roleplayer, a lot of my posts are probably grammatical abortions...v___v;
