About disappearing!? Where have I been, you may have been thinking? Well, maybe not. Either way, I have been in the hospital! It wasn't because of anxiety, which is good. I just had a very severe bloody nose that kept on bleeding even after they cauterized it for the first time so they had to do something or another to stop the bleeding. I'm not sure exactly what, I had to get put under the gas for a little bit.
But I'm semi-ok now!

Yeah, I'd say full-okay is better than semi-okay. Be well.

Hey, look, if you remember me, I'm alive again. Well. Sort of. Remember the bad nosebleeds? Well, while I was in the hospital they were like, "Why is she so tired?" and then it was found out I HAD MONO. What the hell, man, I thought you got that from kissing people. I haven't kissed anybody, like. Ever. So I think I've slept enough in the past while for a lifetime. Guh.
And then, well. Something not good happened in the family. One of my birds, Freddy, my bird that I have had since I was 8, passed away. So I got all overworked and crying for his sake.
But I hope to be back... If that's ok with everybody.

Hey, I was worried about you! Sorry to hear about the illness and the death of a family pet.
Being back is fine. If you need any help catching up, just ask.

Good to have you back. Just as a side note, I looked into mono a bit, and apparently it can be passed on b y coughing.

Eye-fire's right. Mono isn't limited to kissing.
And welcome back. As Xaaron said, if you need help getting caught up, feel free to ask.

I had mono twice when I was in high-school. It is not fun stuff. It is passed on the same way flu or colds are--only it puts you down worse than the flu. Kills your white blood cells, among other things. And the doctor insisted on doing blood tests, because mono can have liver complications, and they have to watch out for that. Nasty stuff.
It's normally a once-in-a-lifetime thing, because you develop immunity to it like chicken pox or the measles or whatever. I have a slack-ass immune system that sometimes has to be kicked in the nuts twice to get to work.
