Home reality: Perceptor
Pull-point timestamp: {Point from just before "Grimlock's New Brain"}
Alternate form: Tank
Known history and notes: Ironfire's from my reality, or one enough like mine, and was part of one of the teams they'd sometimes send off-planet to chase down 'Cons what were causing trouble on other worlds while Optimus Prime and his bunch were snoozing away on Earth. As a result, she's got a decent amount of planetary experience under her belt for someone her age. Some have less, some have more, and some, like me, have a lot more. Eventually, she got called back and assigned to Autobot City on Earth, and that's pretty much where she stayed. Kind of fell in love with the Terran culture, too, particularly that racket they call 'music.' If you ask me, it's called 'rock' because you've gotta have rocks in your processors to enjoy it. She's also pretty well obsessed with Terran sci-fi, to the extent that it has been known to affect both her judgment and performance - something I'll get into more later.
Otherwise, she's mostly another friendly, outgoing, fairly mellow 'Bot. Been known to worry a bit more than she should over accidentally blasting an ally, but I suppose that's better than not worrying enough about it.
Oh, and for those of you from realities with a more... limited array of gender selections, yes, Ironfire is female. What makes her female? She associates more strongly with the female gender and calls herself 'she'. What else do you need?
Skills, abilities, talents: Ironfire is heavy artillery for use at a distance, and good at it. Deals out a lot of punishment, and can soak up a fair amount in return. Aim's decent, but nothing extraordinary - she's more for covering an area than any kind of pinpoint attacks. I suppose you could say she's kind of a partial triple-changer, of sorts, but she really just goes from robot mode to tank to siege platform. Siege platform's immobile and got a slower rate of fire, but she can hit a lot harder in it. Beyond that, her most notable skills are her extensive knowledge of human sci-fi and goldfish, and I'm not sure how particularly useful those are.
Weaknesses: She's slow, she burns energon quickly, she's a bit of a klutz, and not much for holding her own if someone gets close. Sure, an enemy in melee's gotta put enough force behind their blows to get through that tough tank-armor, and even then she can take a lot, but if they've got that, she's in serious trouble. Also there's her immobility in siege mode, and she takes longer to transform between regular tank (assault mode) and siege mode than she does between robot mode and tank mode. Her obsession with Terran sci-fi is overwhelming enough that she tends to assess the world in terms of common sci-fi tropes, which can lead her picking sub-optimal courses of action because, hey, it works in the movies. And finally, she's terrified of Terran goldfish. No, I don't understand why, either, and good luck trying to get her to explain.
