"Roger." Long Range replies, and begins re aiming himself.
Of course Long Range couldn't fault Sky-Byte for his line of reasoning of blasting things, his shots weren't quite so limited. It was also frankly more energy efficient to break down something by hand For Long Range.

Well, Sky-Byte has his days where just blasting doesn't do it. What do you think the giant long-handled net is for?
The thunderous blast and roar that fills the air is hard to miss Sky-Byte immediately whirls around in an attempt to find out 'Just What is Happening?!'. Up is the last place to look, with that direction, the sight of that huge mech-Omega Supreme-blasting off.
"Blast him! Blast him!" Sky-Byte's practically jigging in place. But Omega Supreme is likely way to far away to hit now and Sky-Byte doesn't want to be blamed for any collateral damage if Long Range's shells come down on some inconveniently placed individuals.
Oh blasted.

"Unable to strike him at this range. We'll get him the next time we see him." Long Range replied.

Sky-Byte glares into the sky, scowl plain on his face. "Next time we see him, hrmph! I'd rather we not see him at all."
"Let us set our eyes on a farther prize then," Sky-Byte not-quite-wheels around and eyes the distant orange metal maze that is the Zoo. "The next coordinates are <within the Zoo>!"

Long Range would normally have queried Sky-Byte if he'd checked that they weren't about to drop shells on friendlies, but he doubts that Sky-Byte is that uncaring for others and that stupid. He does after all have a large artillery former right behind him that will take issue, and will start pulling Sky-Byte apart if he is.
Again, he swivels himself and angles his barrels, taking aim. After a few seconds he begins firing again.

Of course Sky-Byte's going to make sure that no friendlies get hurt. First off, it's his responsibility as a commander. Second off, more than just Long Range would take him apart if he does--and Sky-Byte really appreciates staying in one piece. Well, good thing he's making these announcement of bombing coordinates over the allied broadband, right?
"Alright, Long Range, that's enough for now," Sky-Byte climbs higher into the air and frowns. "Is it just me or are the number of Autobots starting to go down around this place?" That and they're starting to run out of suitable targets to aim at.

"They've been out gunned, out numbered and out fought. Its not that amazing that they'd choose to run for the hills." Long Range as he stopped firing.
A couple of moments later he began the slow process of transforming back into his robot mode. He shut off the music as he did so.
"Its unlikely, but keep any slaggers who want to collapse a building on top of me away, and then rip out their fuel lines."

"Hmph, cowards," Sky-Byte mutters while idly rubbing at one of the many dusty patches on his armor. It's just like the Autobots to run away, whether they're 'running for the hills' or vanishing in those infernal space-bridges. Predacon's don't run away, they make carefully planned exits.
"You keep an optic out for Autobots as well. We're heading out, time to stake out a different spot if they need us," Sky-Byte glances up at Long Range and nods before hovering off, staying slow enough for the large Decepticon to keep up.
OOC: And we can end this thread after your post?

There's a rumble of jet engines and a certain dark blue and purple Seeker rolled and transformed, dropping out of the sky with just a touch of awkwardness as he landed in front of Sky-Byte.
Duskwing saluted sloppily and said, "Uh, Duskwing reporting, sir. We chased dem Autobots underground, 'cept for dose we blew up. You got some orders for me, boss?"

"Got it Sky-Byte" Long Range says as he finishes his transformation, and starts walking behind the aerial shark. And then Duskwing shows up.
"Duskwing.... I'd advise you make yourself scarce. Maybe find someone big to stand behind when you talk to Starscream."

"I think I'm the one giving orders here," growls Sky-Byte, turning back to Long Range with a narrow stare. Touchy, touchy shark, especially when it comes to obedient subordinates. It comes from too many years of snide backtalk and constant questioning of his commands. This jaunt on Gillanan is well on its way to spoiling him.
Duskwing, on the other hand, is received with a pleased 'hmmm' as Sky-Byte halts to size up the Decepticon flier. "No, it looks like we've accomplished what we came here to do." That is blow up some bots and show them who's boss in Sky-Byte's mind. Pity they ran away. "If you see any stragglers, see if you can capture them. Other than that, keep an optic out for those other Autobots."
They give Sky-Byte the willies, but he's not saying that.

Duskwing shifted his weight uncomfortably from foot to foot. "Uh, about dem other Bots, boss... I kinda have trouble tellin' 'em from the ones we're s'posed to shoot. They look 'zactly the same. Might have been a few mistakes, see?"

A Dassault Mirage 2000 flies quickly overhead, then circles back around. In fact, it circles the area one, two, three times before diving lazily. On the dive, it transforms, folding out into the Decepticon, Needlenose, who joyfully takes advantage of his new antigravs by finishing the landing with them.
"Hello, hello, gentlemechs and... shark," he greets, nodding his head low enough that it almost borders on a bow. "Wonderful day we're having here, isn't it? Wonderful day and wonderful victory!" Then he turns towards Duskwing. "Ah, Duskwing, just the mechanoid I was looking for!"

"Just giving him some advice Sky-Byte. Just giving him advice...." He says, his voice trailing off at the end as he see's the mayhem comming into land.
//You have been paying attention to the broadband right? Duskwing is in slag for firing on one of our Auto allies. Needlenose might be here to execute him for all we know.// He transmits to Sky-Byte privately.
After Needlenose greets them, Long Range takes a few steps forward to greet Needlenose in return. He also 'happens' to step slightly in front of Duskwing, instinctively shielding him from Needlenose.
"Greetings Needlenose. I trust you have a few notches to place into your sword hilt?" He says placing his hands on his side, his one arm further obscuring Duskwing.

"So I've heard..." mutters Sky-Byte, pleased smile wiped off his face as he recalls the various calls over Decepticon broadband concerning Duskwing's confusion. The disgruntled look only furrows into a frown as another flier loops in for a landing. Okay, not just any flier.
A proper 'terrorize!' later, Sky-Byte returns Needlenose's nod with a short one of his own. The Mayhem. Here. Duskwing gets another sharp look this time. This cannot be good. '...I'm not going to get in trouble for this? Am I?'
//I doubt that they are going to be executing anyone at the moment. Especially with troops in such short order,// grumbles Sky-Byte. //He shot at our allies, knowingly or not, he'll have to pay some sort of price. If only to teach him not to do it again. I would have shot at you back then when you were making your ridiculous jokes about bombarding the Autobots.//
And then Long Range has to go and look like he's interfering with the Mayhem. Baaaad idea. No, Sky-Byte does not want more of his troops getting dragged off to be disciplined. Think of the ideas that that'll give the other commanders about him? Well, if Long Range feels a few sharp jabs on whatever part Sky-Byte's elbows can reach, that would signify the message 'Commander will take care of this, NOW. MOVE, please!'
"Ah yes, very pleasing day...and what might bring us the pleasure of a visit from you, Needlenose?"
