Pz-zazz is a multi-cultural planet inhabited by a large number of races. Some of these are native; more are visitors or transplants. A large number of these races are various iterations of robotic, cyborg, or technorganic.
What this means is that unless a character is already known to be a member of a particular faction- either through previous in-game interaction, interaction pre-pull point, or archived history files- players should not assume that a clothed individual that happens to be a robot is also of the opposing faction. If you’re unsure if a character’s sigil is visible despite their clothing, we encourage you to ask that character’s player if it is visible or not. Please don’t automatically assume a faction; some characters don’t even have sigils in one or another of their modes and don’t follow standard Cybertronian builds, such as some of the BW and BM bots.
It is reasonable to conjecture that a character you’ve never seen before might be a Cybertronian, or even that he or she might be of an opposing faction based on things like similar build, attitude, interactions with others, etc. However, simply walking into a room full of both PC’s and NPC’s and immediately pegging another PC as Autobot or Decepticon when your character has never met them before and the other PC either doesn’t have sigils or their sigils are covered is very, very close to god-moding.
Along those lines, please, please, please pay attention to previous posts when posting into open threads. Not just to the visibility-or lack thereof- of a character’s sigils, but to things like scene set up and NPC presence and attitude. In character actions equals in character consequences, and that applies to actions that affect or run in opposition to NPC’s.
Thank you,
