Concurrent with Crashdown, starting shortly after Omega crashed. Any Decepticon is welcome to be present at start, or to wander in during.
Having two communications experts on board is quite the handy thing. It is especially so when one of those has the alternate mode of a satellite array. This means that when a very large transport crashes on the planet one is getting ready to scout, one gets to hear all about it on the local radio and vid channels.
Shockwave pauses in the door way to the main lounge. His optic scans across those present.
"It seems that the Autobots' star maps of this sector are similar enough to our own that they picked the same planet to scout. I have ordered those on navigation duty to move us into orbit for deployment. I would like scouts deployed to keep watch for the Autobot transport."
Shockwave crosses over to a terminal and calls up a grainy black and white video still of the crashed Omega Supreme. He taps the screen as he moves aside.
"After all, we would be fools to ignore such an advantage as fortune has provided, now, would we not?"
Fallen Guardian bits would make a fine catch indeed.

Needlenose is in the main lounge playing video games.
At least, he was in the main lounge playing video games.
Then Shockwave hijacked his terminal to show everyone pictures of Omega Supreme.
"HEY!" he exclaims, flattening his antennae against his head and narrowing his optics. Then he realizes that it's the boss man who did it and just slouches, grumbling a little.
That is until he gets a good look at what's on the screen. His white optics flare and he leans forward, peering.
"Hey... is that Pz-Zazz?" he asks.

"Hey!" Duskwing snarls as his game of solitaire is interrupted. "I was winnin' for once. Turn it back on!"
He leans back and rudely kicks the console. "Bosses always gotta bust in and give orders just when you finally get moment to yourself. Slag 'em sideways with a scraplet-riddled borer, the bastards, an...." Duskwing's curses trail off and he stares fixedly at the console for long moments.
"Hey! Dey broke Omega Supreme! Who done it?"

Shrapnel has been in the main lounge doing whatever it is that is likely to make Hook chase him screaming through the halls again. Basically, gnawing on the walls. They are yummy, if his mutterings are anything to go by.
"A new planet, planet? Does it have trees?"

Mistwind wouldn't be here if there were other bots around, and he's quite warily keeping track on whoever enters. Other than that, he's doing absolutely nothing else but having been watching Needlenose play a game; being in the presence of two jets gives this one a feeling of safety. He'd watch Duskwing, but solitaire couldn't entice him as much, so somewhere he wandered off to the other screen that went bleep-blip-boom.
Mistwind freezes when Shockwave steals the terminal and begins to explain what looks like a briefing in the making, "A- A big one crashed?! HAH! I hope he liked that!"
It might take him a moment, c'mon, guardian robot lying in shambles down there! but then he carefully studies Shockwave's posture, and how he moved into the room. "Master Shockwave, you are planning....?" He tries to draw out elaborations.

Oil Slick peeks up from a datapad at the unfolding events, pausing in his file-perusing of the local databanks at Shockwave's display. He also may or may not have been subtly people-watching.
Curious - they refer to that pile of scrapped rocket as Omega Supreme? Rather different from the one of Oil Slick's reality. Granted, Oil Slick hasn't seen him in robot mode.
He does wish he was down there, though - it's the absolute perfect setup for an ambush.

Jetstorm leans on the edge of the window, staring out at the planet below. He turns, and looks over at the video feed.
"Mm, looks like a great planet to crash on. Reminds me of how dark and dingy home is," he darts over, hovering near Mistwind, almost instinctively seeking out the smaller Cons because they're less likely to try and attack him.
He crosses his arms and then looks up at Shockwave, before back to the screen. He has to be planning what he's implying, doesn't he?

One headfin twitches slightly at Duskwing's grousing, but Shockwave does not comment. The Seeker is so dull-witted, Shockwave is sure that even having his error pointed out in a painful way would make no impression.
"The media traffic only that indicates Omega crashed. There is no indication that this was due to an attack upon the Guardian. Perhaps a malfunction of some sort."
"We need to restock supplies. And I am sure that many of you would enjoy the chance to wander streets instead of this ships corridors. So we will be deploying groups planetside. This was planned even before this image came across my desk."
"Now we have the added chance of permanently removing one of the Autobots biggest assets from play."
Shockwave shifts his position slightly, "Needlenose, you are familiar with this planet? What do you know of it, and how unwelcome it our presence likely to be? How conspicuous?"

"Familiar? I had one mission on it once," Needlenose answers, kicking back his heels and looking up at Shockwave, then around at the others. "We were there to dig ourselves in as the new kids gang, the Robot Mafia... but we were still the newcomers, and we ditched it pretty quick when we got the Autobots."
"The most significant feature of Pz-Zazz are its laws, or rather, the lack of it. It's pretty much run by any number of criminal cartels. There's some sort of official ruling body, but just about everyone in it works for one of the cartels and gets paid to look the other way. The few who don't, uhm, 'sign up' pretty quickly or vanish just as fast, typically."
He glances over at Shrapnel. "Trees? Yeah, a few. Seemed like there was more of them after Nightbeat stuck that stupid bird statue back in place, though."

Duskwing would object if he knew Shockwave's thoughts on the matter. He can learn. To date, he has learned not to assault artists, and to avoid officers as much as possible. Unfortunately, his impulsiveness often overrides what he knows.
The dark blue Seeker smirks and smacks one fist against the other hand. "Yeah, get off this barge for a bit and bust some Autobot headcases! Sounds good to me!"
He would say a lot more, but Duskwing doesn't think that fast, so he doesn't say what comes to mind until somewhat later...

Mistwind narrows his optics remorsefull, eyeing Jetstorm, "Home..." His turbines droop ever so slightly. "I miss home" He mutters softly, more so to voice his feelings to himself than anyone else.
But then they're back up! See! Mistwind is being happy and joyous, because Shockwave tells them that they're "Going on a field trip!! Yay!!!". For Mistwind, being off ship is totally a holiday with no freight to haul!

Oil Slick soon puts his datapad away, and interlaces his fingerclaws, a thoughtful look on his face.
"Hmn. Lucky us, I suppose. Too bad the Omegas back home couldn't just up and break like that."

"Ooh does this mean we get to mingle with the locals? Take in some of the culture and some of their things?" Jetstorm jokes a bit, snorting softly. He looks over at Mistwind, feeling a bit bad for him, before leaning back in the air, waving his hand a bit.
"I'll be glad to do some looting, if you wish. Either way, I will be getting of Ship for a break and getting into to the air," he trails off.

"One mission is more than most-if not all- here, Needlenose. Whatever information you might provide is useful, no matter how little." Shockwave crosses his arms under his chest. "From the sound of things then, we should have no problems, provided that we avoid brawling with the locals. I would prefer not to spend any longer than necessary on planet; no need to get distracted from our goal." "However," one hand comes up to rub the bottom of his optic casing, "Allies, however mercurial, are always welcome." His gaze sweeps over the room once more. "Omega Supreme crashed in a populated area. We have the opportunity to present ourselves in the more positive light- if we can provoke the Autobots on board Omega to attack us first. The illusion may not last for long, but perhaps long enough to cripple our foes." "When you go below, do not be the instigators of trouble. Flyovers. Warnings. Defend yourself if attacked. Avoid collateral damage." "I will have the details and personnel worked out by the time Shipis in position."* *By this, I mean that most any people who want to be on the initial strike can be. Except Bonecrusher. It is assumed that the Cons have a couple of TF sized shuttles to get troops to ground. Ship will not be landing. I think we can start posting into Crashdown now, but please, be prepared to make spin off threads ASAP for ease of RP.
