ooc: continued from Rescues & Reinforcements with a time break between that thread and now. Takes place one day after the other Crashdown threads.---------- After getting a quick visual lock upon the rather obvious crash site of Omega Supreme, Jetfire had quickly come to the realization that he would not be able to land anywhere near there. Not gracefully, at least. For one thing, he figured that the residents of the surrounding neighborhoods would take a dim view on a jet landing and taxiing down their street, and that was assuming that he could even fit down the street without clipping his wings. There had been a large open space some distance off, like a park or some gathering spot or something, but it hadn't looked quite large enough for him to make a full, safe landing without transforming, and since he'd still had passengers, well, that had required yet another brief detour toward the space port and a landing strip to accommodate him. Boy, but the ground crew had seemed pretty bloody surprised, though, when he'd transformed and stood up once Holi and Perceptor had disembarked! He'd had no idea what a bloodly "Lithonian" was, either, even after Perceptor had offered a brief explanation. Just chalk it up to "some other alien race what's robotic" and leave it at that, Jetfire had figured. Fortunately, other than that wide-spread shock as they had all transformed and casually started walking off the tarmac, there hadn't been anything else of note either from the landing or from their brisk walk across the city to the crash site. Some odd looks here and there, and a few scowls as they'd neared the actual area of damage, but given the debris that Jetfire can see as he hobbles toward the line of police tape cordoning the area off, he isn't sure he can really blame the locals for the glares. He'd be pretty put out, too, if some big bloke came crashing down into his hanger, too! "Watch your step, lads," he rumbles as he picks his way through the loiterers and hopeful scavengers still hanging about the area. "Looks like our mechs are just ahead, there." Now, question is, are there any cops still floating around who might try to intercept them as they head for that police tape, intending to cross over and join the other Autobots working through Omega's parts and neighborhood debris?

There are a few cops, though not as many as one might expect about, and most seem more interested in figuring out what they can get out of this 'investigation' than anything else, leaving the Autobots to protect the site from both the more blatant scavengers and, perhaps a bit, from the cops themsevles.
Long Haul has a court date! He's none too happy about this, but at least he's out 'on bail,' and as a result, he's here with the others. As one of the primary technicians present, he's been working hard, both seeing to the gathering and what repairs could be made to Omega Supreme (not nearly enough) and helping to fix the other Autobots (thankfully, they've not been so bad off).
He looks up, brightening as Jetfire shows up, and stands up from where he'd been soldering something within one of Omega Supreme's segments. "Hey! You guys made it!" he observes needlessly. "Boy, am I glad to see you folk!"

Elita-1 has been working at an almost feverish pace to help collect up what bits and pieces of Omega are scatter out and about from the main crash sight. The work helps keep her from dwelling on the missing, on what happened and how awful she feels. Elita knows that her first duty is to the group, but she so terribly wants to know what happened to her friends. They never did find Clipper in the rubble, and that...that makes no sense. Sentinel ran off and got into who knows what trouble, and she can't help but feel like she should have done more there, too.
She pauses and looks up when Jetfire and company approach. Seeing Holi just makes her feel even more guilty. Even if it isn't really her fault....
Elita shakes her head and heads back toward Omega. She needs to borrow some strength again.

Jetstorm has found himself awestruck ever since Omega Supreme came into view. It's a bit jarring, to say the least, to see such a titanic Autobot so damaged. Even moreso than when he had heard about Ultra Magnus being attacked. Ultra Magnus was closer to his size!
Still, he's been antsy since landing, and he starts to wave at Elita-1, but she wanders off. She doesn't look too happy, and the area seems to lack a certain air. If Sentinel Prime was here, he'd definitely be standing around, ordering others around...
Jetstorm looks to his brother, frowning slightly. "...I am having bad feeling, brother."

Springer also has a court date!
He's even less enthused about it than Long Haul is. Whether that has to do with him having an actual mouth to make expressions with is yet to be determined, though.
Springer's been busy carting parts around, getting theings to where they need to be so repairs on Omega Supreme might be expedited as much as possible. However, he sets the box down when the landing party shows up, and offers a tired grin.
"You guys have no glitchin' idea how glad I am to see you."

At the sounds and voices of the arriving Autobots, Skid-Z looks up briefly enough to recognise, a welcoming look which easily transfers into a colder sweep across the borders. He's fussing over a hoard of Omega miniparts amidst rubble, rinsing them from grime and dirt before putting them in crates.
Once in a while, he glances in a certain direction, and a hint of worry flashes over his features.

"Hrmn?" Ramulus pops up from a digging-out-in-progress as a new vibration rocks the soil. Seeing the new mechs, he mouths off a greeting bleat, before -quite appalled at his own mistake- calls out the translated "Hello!"
The Maximal then promptly bumps a rock off the pile down to the earth, before chasing after it towards the newcomers "Happy to see that they've send us help!"
He knows the situation is grave... deep within he feels grave, but it is because of that that the other Autobots bring him much cheer. For this moment.

"Our apologies for the delay in our arrival," Perceptor offers as he strides up in Jetfire's wake. His optics are fixated upon the still-scattered, but slowly crowing collection, of Omega Supreme's components, and the shattered debris that had obviously been an inhabited building. "The Event Horizon is still some distance out, but we came as swiftly as possible."
"How much of Omega Supreme's structures have you managed to retain?" In other words, have they been able to thwart the scavengers, or have some pieces been carted off already? "Omega, are you aware?" he adds as he strides up and lays a gentle hand upon a larger portion of the rocket's fuselage.

"Good to see you too, lads," Jetfire replies to Long Haul and Springer. "Wish could be under better circumstances, though. Got here as quick as our thrusters would carry us. Got th' mess with the law sorted out yet?"
He gives a shudder across his whole structure, stretching out his arms and cracking his knuckles loudly. "Now, where do y' need me, lads?"

"Not yet," Long Haul admits, shaking his head. "We're out on bail, but we still got a court date," he adds, sadly. "And, uhm, I ain't got a lot of confidence in the outcome of a trial around here." He then gives a shrug of both shoulders. Not much else to be done, is there?

Holi isn't his typical chatty self as he surveys the scene, hanging back from the others to do so. Most of the work he could really have sunk his teeth into appears to already be done if all the crew here are doing is collecting Omega Supreme's scattered parts. He can and will happily assist with that, but it's still like an ill-fitting glove when he'd worked himself up expecting lots of search and rescue work. He's tried to put his worry for Clipper to the back of his mind – he has work to do, after all – and he tries it again as he looks over the buildings nearest Omega Supreme, sorting out which ones are likely to finish collapsing on their own, which ones could be easily set off, and which ones ought to hold a little longer.
He can't help noticing, though, that he doesn't see a little pink and white Micromaster aiding the other Autobots with recovery. The realisation makes him feel ill, like he has a tank full of bad fuel. He keeps quiet for now, deciding he'll walk the entire site before he starts a fuss. She might just be concealed behind some rubble, or sitting down for a rest.

Instead of completing her intent of borrowing from the Guardian again, Elita-1 turns and heads toward Long Haul.
"Um, Long Haul?" she asks, "Since we've got some relief here, and more on the way, would it be all right for some of us to...go looking for the missing?"
Yes, she is treating Long Haul as a superior. He's the resident expert on Omega, and as far as she's concerned that makes him defacto head of the salvage efforts.

Surveying the scene of the crash, Jetfire cannot help but share his twin's edginess. Turning slightly to Jetstorm, he says quietly, "Me too, brother. I am getting feeling of sinking."
Still, bad feelings or no, they are here on mission, and he plans to do his part! So, stepping boldly forward with a smile, he asks, "Tell please! What can we, too, be doing to help?"

Jetstorm's shoulders slump just slightly. "I am having it as well..." Sentinel Prime is out there, somewhere, either getting into trouble, or being in trouble...or being scared of all the organics.
Maybe all three.
Then Jetfire shows some motivation, and he's followed shortly by his brother, though directing his own energy at Elita-1's question. "We could being helpful by looking for missing from the air!" He grins as he says it, eager to assist - and despite flying all the way here, it was boring flying - he wants to do fancy recon flying!

Springer winces slightly at the mention of the appointment with the law. "Yeah... That's gonna be interesting, to say the least." Gonna be real fun explaining that one to Xaaron and Rodimus.
The Wrecker looks around, pondering the inquries from Jetfire, Perceptor, Elita-1, and...er, Jetfire. "Well, I believe we've got a majority of the bigger parts gathered..." Then Skid-Z and Ramulus appear, then disappear. "We've been working almost non-stop, as you can see, since the initial fervor calmed down. The rest is determining what we have, what's missing, and how to either hunt it down or replace it." A sigh. "And keep people posted around the area to make sure we don't have any more thieves or opportunists getting too close while we do that. Too bad we can't just kick up a shield or fence while we do that."
A brief moment of consideration follows. "I figure we can spare some to go hunting for our missing comrades - Sentinel Prime and Clipper." Springer frowns a bit, looking to the twins and Holi. "We looked as best we could at the time, but without any luck. Then we -had- to get started on getting Omega back together. I don't like it, but it had to be done."
