Perceptor reaches over and places a comforting hand on Springer's shoulder, his expression sympathetic. "Priorities," he agrees gently. "We must assume that Sentinel Prime and Clipper are in some manner able to see to their own well being, as Omega Supreme most certainly is not capable of such a thing at the moment."
Of course, Perceptor isn't entirely aware of the exact circumstances of their disappearances, either, and he's significantly more fond of Omega than either Clipper or Sentinel. Sentinel, well, he's a jerk who seems to enjoy jerking everyone's chain, and Clipper... Perceptor is still reserving judgement on her, but only because Holi quite obviously likes her. The scientist doesn't like the way the young, female Micromaster jerks Holi's chain. Constantly.
Even sweet, innocent little Perceptor can be a bit of a judgemental aft, himself, after all.
"Priorities," he repeats, giving Springer's shoulder a squeeze.
"Holi, I assume that you will wish to lead a party in search of Clipper?" he asks, tilting a look down at the young Micromaster as he steps back away from Springer once again. Holi going to look for her is a given, of course, as it looks like any "rescue" efforts here have been completed. That Holi will lead such a party is also a given in Perceptor's mind; Holi had been the Captain of his own Patrol, after all, and he does have the most vested interest in the outcome. Despite Rattrap's commentary as they had disembarked, Perceptor has the utmost faith in Holi.
"Jetfire, Jetstorm - err.. Jetfire-the-younger, I mean," he explains with a little grin of embarassment. "You will also, likewise, wish to search for Sentinel Prime? Elita-1, I assume you wish to assist in that search." That's as much a given as Holi looking for Clipper. Except...
"Where is Optimus Prime? Has he already gone in search of Sentinel?" That puts a crimp in things. Perceptor had hoped that Optimus might lead the party searching for Sentinel. He might be a bit younger an Optimus than Perceptor is used to, however this Optimus is, nevertheless, quite responsible. He looks around at those still remaining with a slight frown; there really aren't enough bodies left to send off with the search parties if they wish to also maintain security at Omega's scene.
"If possible, perhaps you three might rendezvous with Optimus during your search. For now, unless there is a pressing reason for anyone else to join you, do you three feel that you can handle the search without additional searchers?"
Another speculating glance over those still remaining, until Perceptor's optics alight upon Rammulus. Ah, perfect. Rammulus has a cynical edge to counter Holi's youth and optimism, as well as a smililar size scale to assist in the search party remaining cohesive.
"Rammulus!" he calls, waving the Maximal over. "Would you have any objections to assisting Holi in his search for Clipper?"
"Springer," he continues, glancing back at the Wrecker, "if possible, I would prefer to retain you here to see to our security. Long Haul is most familiar with Omega's construction, and I will be assisting he and Makeshift with the repairs, which will leave both of us vulnerable." Because Perceptor is all too aware that he tends to lose focus on anything but what he is working on, and Long Haul is rather... naive still. Plus he's probably worried for his friend. "I feel confident that between yourself, the elder Jetfire, and Skid-Z, we will be in safe hands."
Officious Perceptor is officious! Now, is that everyone?
ooc: just for the record, just because Perceptor has an idea how he wants things run now, doesn't mean that anyone has to listen to him. He's operating on incomplete intel, and his assumption of the most efficient division of labor. He's also in full blown "medic" mode, which makes him a bit bossy. Folks should feel free to utterly blow off/contradict his "orders" as they so choose.
