OOC: Day 8, Event Horizon. Open.
Long Haul had really wanted to give Omega his tour before now, but then he got caught up in that whole business at the overpass, and then he had to get repaired. As a result, he's a bit late in heading towards Omega's room (Omega's room! What a strange concept!), but he's finally here.
He walks up to the door of the room that Omega Supreme shares with Jazz and Nightbeat and knocks it. He's late, sure, but he's here now!

Omega Supreme has found himself faced with the realisation that he really has no idea what to do with a room of his own. Before the war, sure, he had a kind of chair thing that he sat on when he was resting. On Earth, Optimus Prime usually just left him on a grassy hillside. Here, he's usually been in base mode near the base on Gillanan III or stuck in the Event Horizon's hanger. Lying down for a recharge nap is a foreign concept for him. His roomies, both perspicacious sorts, who may or may not be here right now, may have noticed that Omega Supreme hasn't actually touched his bunk yet. When he needs some time shut down, he naps sitting in a chair.
At the knock, he checks who is at the door and then opens it. He looks a bit sheepishly deflated at the sight of Long Haul. He wasn't there when Long Haul needed him - he was still tripping over his own feet, but that is no excuse, to Omega Supreme's singularly resolute mind. At least he's not a menace to the walls around him anymore, no longer apt to fall through bulkheads.

When Long Haul sees Omega, he immediately brightens. "Hey, Omega!" he greets cheerfully. Then he sees Omega slump, and he tilts his head and takes a step forward, lifting his right hand slightly. "Hey, what's wrong, pal? Something seems to got you down!"

Omega Supreme looks off to the side and rubs his claw hand along the barrel on the back of his head. How does he want to put this? Omega Supreme finally settles on, "Duty: failed."
He wasn't there for Long Haul when Long Haul could have used the help, right after he promised Long Haul that he'd be there when Long Haul needs him!

Nightbeat stirs in his bunk. He's facedown, or would be if he was wearing his head at the moment, with one hand dangling off the berth onto the floor. Muzzle's reclining on another, smaller berth at the top of the Autobot's. They appear to both be asleep. The Nebulan groans and rolls out of bed, rubbing sleep from his eyes and walking over to his tiny locker, pulling out a towel, a glass, and a box of little tablets that fizz when you put them in water. He weaves his way out of the room through Omega's and Long Haul's legs, asking vaguely after the whereabouts of the Mayhem that worked him over last night, and muttering dire imprecations against Haywire if he's stolen his toothpaste again because he knows the little punk has been despite what he insists to the contrary, goddamn kids, probably only has to shave every other day, etc.
//Good morning,// transmits Nightbeat over the shortband, still headless. //Never get binary-bonded, you two. Hangovers are no fun.//

"What? Nonsense," Long Haul answers cheerfully, still note quite getting what Omega Supreme is even referring to. "Anyway, up for your tour of the ship?" He moves his leg to make sure it's out of Muzzle's way, and peers around Omega as he hears Nightbeat's radio message.
"Erm, wasn't planning on it, but thanks for the heads up."

This is not the Omega Supreme from the fanfic wherein the Constructicons built him a Headmaster unit to decapitate him and binary bond to him in an effort to make Omega Supreme a Decepticon and a friend to the Constructicons again. This is also not Zeta Supreme, who was bonded to Impactor Major. This is also not Energon Omega Supreme, whose head happens to be a little guy.
He is, however, from a time period wherein everyone else had gone off to get their heads or guns to turn into little men, so Nightbeat doesn't weird him out or bother him.
In fact, the only thing that really has Omega Supreme worried is the idea that the other Constructicons might combiner link with Long Haul in an attempt to turn the Constructibot into a Constructicon.
Omega Supreme mutters back, "Advice, appreciated," and his head spins around, letting him track where Muzzle is, so he doesn't accidentally step on him. Most robots can do 360 degree turns with their heads, but Omega Supreme's a lot freer about doing it than most of them are.
Omega Supreme's head swivels around, and he scowls at Long Haul when Long Haul insists that Omega Supreme's failure is 'nonsense'. Omega Supreme takes these things very seriously! However, he does reply, "Status: ready," because he is good to go.

After a short while, Muzzle wanders back through the forest of legs, "Comin' through," and to his locker. He's wearing a fresh jumpsuit and his hair is wet. The Nebulan proceeds to don his armor, then transforms. Nightbeat picks up his head and attaches it, then rubs his temples.
"Can't always carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, Omega. Speaking of, you two mind if I tag along with whatever it is you're doing? I've got a free shift until late today." Also a headache too massive to want to go planetside.
I can't let you off my neck for one night? Seriously, what'd you drink?
. . . It was in a yellow bottle.

"Naw, I don't mind," Long Haul asks cheerfully. "The more the merrier." Long Haul is pretty socially inept at times, largely due to long hours spent on his own transporting materials. This same thing is what makes him glad of company when he can get it.
"Anyway, just giving Omega a proper tour of the Event Horizon, 'cos, uhm, he can actually fit places where he can see things and stuff." Long Haul looks towards Omega and shrugs. "I mean, sure, there's the maps on the 'puter and all, but I figured Omega might appreciate something a bit more personal, y'know?"

Omega Supreme was never strong enough to lift planets, but thanks for reminding him that he's weaker now, Nightbeat. He glares over at the detective, not explaining what his glare is about, and he crosses his arms.
However, Omega Supreme doesn't mind if Nightbeat tags along the tour, so he also does not voice any dissent. It doesn't occur to Omega Supreme, but Nightbeat has probably found all the interesting air ducts on the Event Horizon, anyway.
He calls up his map, overlaying it on his mental display, but he really does need this tour. Omega Supreme's small (to him) spatial placement skills are a bit lacking. He's not really used to being inside structures, unless they are very large structures. Omega Supreme agrees, "Tour: appreciated."

"Sounds like a plan," Nightbeat responds. He's not really sure what to say. He doubts Omega Supreme is ever going to really be 'one of the guys,' but maybe being the same size as everyone else will get him to come out of his shell a little?
"The mess hall would be a good first stop, unless you've got other ideas." Being a logistics expert and all, Long Haul might have a route planned out already. "I could go for a cube."

Long Haul shrugs. "Sure, that works," he agrees. "I figure, mess hall, lounge, sim room, bridge, training room, medical, then Botanica's bio-thingy." She he does already have things planned out - but it still works with mess hall first.
Or he just mentally re-arranged things on the fly.
"I'm sure we could all use a cube, anyway. Know I could," he adds, waving down p-way towards the mess hall. "Anyway, this way?"
OOC: Skip to mess hall?

OOC: Sure!
Omega Supreme's used to being hungry, so hungry it hurts, almost all the time. The fact that he can be full and not break the bank is weird. The fact that he really can go for a recreational cube with the guys is even weirder.
He does point out to Nightbeat, "Hangover: unwanted. Caution: advised." The guy gives his head grief over getting plastered and then goes for a cube? What kind of robot/Nebulan double standard is this?

OOC: I'm okay with a skip.
"Hey, unlike some Nebulans, I didn't go on a drinking binge last night and I could stand to refuel. Muzzle and I may share a lot of things, but a fuel tank isn't one of them," Nightbeat comments.
"Off we go, then," he says with a shrug, falling into step with Long Haul and Omega.

"Eh, it's a little early in the morning to be drinking-for-overcharge, anyway," Long Haul shrugs, leading them towards the mess hall. Not that Long Haul doesn't mind a good overcharge early in the morning, but he's got deep enough tanks that that doesn't happen too often.
At the messhall...
Long Haul plods in and gestures around. "Here it is. Not much to it. Orange walls, terminal and screen built into a couple of them, dispenser over there," he points. "Didn't have much time for more than the basics before we left."
