Shortround nods to Spinister's suggestion and tries to focus a bit more on shooting the targets. This results in a slight improvement, and now Shortround can barely hear the annoying sounds, if he listens really hard. Unfortunently, then two cars just happen to explode.
"Smelting pit!" he swore, looking at the holographic wreckage, before saying "... I didn't know it could do that. That's pretty neat"
Shortround turns back to the targets, firing in a direction that roughly correlates to them. His bullets sometimes hit the targets, but quickly misses soon afterwards, leaving him stuck on the one level and giving a fairly accurate reading of his accuracy. He's just happy he hasn't hit anyone else's targets, yet.

Eye-Fire smiles, well, mentally, from the show that Dead End put up for them. It was good shooting.
It gives him ideas though. The targets he's currently going through are too boring and predictable. Even those dragon fly like targets are relativly easy to get if you take some time to aim and be careful.
"Simulation, Generic Autobot, 700 metres range. provide moderate cover. Movement, running left to right, erratic. utilise cover. Begin on my mark." He says, taking a step back and transforming into his full sized rifle mode, which is far too big for anybody else here to use. A gestalt could concievably wield him.
"Mark."
The target visualizes down range. Its pretty hard to see the autobot, as it spends most of its time behind cover, ducking out only briefly to dash for the next bit of cover. Eye-Fire holds his fire.
The bot gets to the secound to last piece of cover before Eye-fire does anything, he clicks back the bolt on his side, and then goes silent agian.
As the Autobot breaks for cover, Eye-Fire loses a purple blast, which strikes the rock in front of it, showering it with rock shards and causing it to recoil in an effort to get back into cover. This doesn't happen, as the secound shot Eye-Fire loses strikes in in the left kneecap, cleanly blowling its lower leg off and casuing it to go down with a howl of pain. It doesn't last long, as the next blast divorces its head from its shoulders.

Fleetwind ignores the jab at 'you fliers'. The Seeker, personally, has never encountered those two, and it's not as though he has a reputation to defend, anyway.
Besides, Dead End's performance is an example of the very types of distractions that one has to learn to tune out on the battlefield.
He fires a bit longer at a skill level slightly below his actual one, not pushing, missing just often to make it seem realistic, then frowns. "I appear to have leveled out," Fleetwind states.

Spinister nods in greeting to Skystrike. It seems that this particular blue jet understands silence, a trait he can admire.
Noticing that Jetstorm is paying more attention to the other people than he is to the purpose of this exercise, Spinister verbally nudges Jetstorm, "Try some ground-based targets. Most of the smaller Autobots seem to be so."
Dead End's show-boating draws a quirked optical ridge from Spinister for a bare moment. He is clearly addressed Thundercracker and perhaps by extension all the Seekers and blue jet sin attendance, but Spinister himself happens to he a flier. People always forget helicopters when they mention fliers, and Primus help those so unfortunate to transform into blimps or zeppelins. Why, Spinister once heard of a Decepticon whose alternate form was the Hindenburg disaster. The poor fellow tended to spontaneously burst into flames.
Spinister notes, "As a car, you may have a better idea of how to handle cars."
Dumping extra shots into a dead opponent is wasteful, but at least it has Dead End doing something and not moping. Battle seems to be good for the Stunticon.
To be fair, Shortround also doesn't have any hands. No amount of training can fix structural deficiencies, and Shortround is meant as a cargo carrier, not as a primary combatant. Still, Shortround doest least need to be able to defend himself, and... well, maybe he could scare enemies away. Maybe. If he flailed in an intimidating way.
To Eye-Fire, Spinister suggests, "Try Mirage, cloaked, at 2500 meters." Perhaps Eye-Fire doesn't have the sensors for it, but if he does, it's an interesting exercise. Some Autobots, mostly important, powerful Autobots from Spinister's reality, are programmed into the holo room's databanks. Kup (who would look the wrong colour to G1 cartoon characters), Powermaster Optimus Prime, and Fortress Maximus (who is rather shorter than might be expected) are included, among others.
Fleetwind's comment draws a sharp look from Spinister. Spinister snaps, "You have the mods for scouting. Use them."
Overall, Spinister is fairly pleased by what he's seeing. There are those with excellent aim, such as Eye-Fire, there are quite a few who are average or slightly above, and there are not many who genuinely have problems.

Although she was not oblivious to Dead End’s display (really, it was rather hard to be), Skystrike still manages not to get too distracted. She continues to fire off a few shots before finally looking up; really, she’d been expecting this. You can’t put a group of Decepticons with guns into a room without expecting things to not blow up. She does give the Porsche a mildly appreciative look despite the comment about fliers. She’d never personally faced the lambo twins after all, so she didn’t know what all the fuss is about. Sure, there’d been the rare few really stupid Autobots that pulled off brilliant stunts of the so called ‘jet judo’, but they all ended up as little more than smears on some abandoned high rise.
Skystrike tilts her head silently, almost inquisitively for a moment before she shrugs and turns back to shooting.

But people watching is so much more fun! Jetstorm sighs as he waves his hand and mutters about changing the targets to 'smaller, ground based targets' like he was ordered to. He resumes firing, getting a little better at hitting them this time, but is still so very distracted by the others.
Oooh there's drama. His horns perk up a little bit as he listens carefully to the snippets of conversation between shots. This is interesting... But alas, the gunshots are loud enough that they make it hard to hear. He huffs and then resumes his shooting.
"I am owed one bit of gossip now, fates, do you hear me?"

Thundercracker gives Dead End a glare that reads "bite my thrusters" but doesn't bother replying. Of course he found the twins entertaining -- he had those fraggin' force fields to hide behind. But pointing that out will probably just get his wings twisted into a new shape, so he goes back to firing.
"Gossip, Jetstorm?" he says to the smaller jet in between shots. "Can't help you out there. Never been much of a gossip hound. But hey, keep your audials tuned. You never know."
He ponders a moment, watching Eye-Fire at his simulation, then gets an idea. "Simulation: white Harrier AV-8 with red and blue markings and Autobot sigils on wings and nosecone. Forward range 200 meters, upward range 500 meters, diving at me at my mark." He arms his incidenary rifle. "Mark!"
The Slingshot clone screams downward, and with a grin he opens fire. Blazing flames lick across both wings, then the canopy, and the jet jukes from side to side as if out of control. Thundercracker toys with the Aerialbot a bit, then administers the killing blow with a drone rocket.
His smile is nearly as bright as the blazing fireball. "Target practice AND stress relief. We should do this more often."

Dead End did not miss the significance of Thundercracker's choice of target. The Aerialbot Slingshot, one of the Stunticons' old enemies now on planet. He transformed back to robot mode, gave Thundercracker a brief bow, and in a drily amused tone said, "Touche. I agree, it's quite... relaxing."
Back to vehicle mode. Dead End began to rack up targets with his car-mounted blasters until once again, he'd leveled off.

Shortround gets an idea, while firing at the targets. "Hmmm... I wonder... Does this thing have a Terran 2030 anti-air half-track tank in blue? There's this Autobot called Scattorshot from my reality, pessimistic game designer or computer guy or something"
Shortround then thinks and sighs. "Oh, right, timestamps". He returns to attempting to stop missing, which doesn't work out too well.

"Mirage? Sadly, I don't have accurate enough sensors.I could possibly try to spot minor distortions brought about by his cloaking... What the srcap. Simulation, Autobot Mirage at 2500 meters. Cloaked. Random terrain. Begin on my mark." HE says, still in his oversized gun form.

The pastel Seeker of seekerness frowns faintly, but that is all. Though he had leveled off below his actual skill level, it wasn't so much so that he hadn't already been employing his long distance mods. Still, he doesn't argue or protest, as doing so would not only draw more attention to him and is likely to get him snapped at, it may get him backhanded or shot. He still doesn't know Spinister all that well yet, after all.
Fleetwind's shooting does improve, a little at least, but it quickly levels off once more. He does not order his targets adjusted to Autobots or anything similar - if he's fighting Autobots, he's in the air himself, anyway.

Spinister does wonder what Skystrike is thinking of all this, but she's being quiet, so it's hard to tell. She's doing what she's supposed to, though, so Spinister quickly flicks his attention to...
...Jetstorm. The little jet appears to be very easily distracted. Spinister points out, "There is a time for the gathering of unverified intelligence, and there is a time for practicing your shooting. If you'd like to get taken out by return fire, because your first hits didn't land, because you were more interested in what colour the new recruits was painted, by all means, be my guest."
Thundercracker seems to be trying vainly to be a good influence on Jetstorm. Thundercracker also seems to be delighted by the idea of using the holo room more often. Success! The holo room: educational and fun.
Dead End seems to be able to knuckle under and accomplish things when handed a task. Spinister ponders what situations, exactly, bring out his personality flaw an make it a cripplign weakness. Not this one, he sees.
Spinister has to shakes his head for Shortround, but he does offer, "If you have a good enough model of him and can describe his abilities, I can code in a crude facsimile later." Heck, knowing Shortround, he probably has a plastic model of the fellow.
He snaps his gaze over to Eye-Fire. Spinister really wants to see how that'll go.
Fleetwind has somesome improvement. For a moment, Spinister debates if that improvement was too quick. It is possible that Fleetwind was holding something back. Then again, everything suggests that Fleetwind is unremarkable. Perhaps unremarkable on purpose.

Skystrike was actually not thinking too much about anything other than ‘aim’ and ‘shoot’ despite the distraction. She’d really rather not think about anything for a while just stare at the lights and watch the targets explode and disappear somewhere. It was almost comforting, a welcome and familiar lull, but she didn’t let herself let her guard down. For all the seeker knew, there could be a simulated car wreck coming her way with the way things were going.
If that were the case then, she’d probably be putting all her concentration into giving someone a glower and maybe some revenge.

The general rolls his optics and holds his hand out and makes it look like it's talking. "Blah blah blah. Listen to me because I think I'm important." He glares at the shooting range. "Show me somethin' and I'm gonna shoot it!" He ordered. "Somethin... Heh. Somethin a bit pink. Like a pinkish motorcycle or helicopter." He muttered.
"Now this is stress relief," he says as he begins shooting.

Thundercracker chuckles and turns briefly toward Dead End to return the bow. Then he goes back to firing at targets. The song increases in volume as he goes, and he now notices random flashes at the edges of his field of vision. Distractions, he thinks, and does his best to keep his optics focused on the oncoming targets.
After awhile, he reaches the level-out point, hitting enough targets to keep from falling behind but missing enough to not progress any farther. "Now what?"
