Between Blackout giving him a place to stand and Holi's help up, Wheelie is soon out of the hole and safe.
"When it comes to nearly going splat, Wheelie wishes he could say "I meant to do that." But the fact of the matter is truly this... you both saved Wheelie from going SQUISH!"
He tries a smile and gives Blackout a friendly wave. Maybe these guys weren't so bad after all.

Holi appreciates the help, really he does – it's a very good sign – but there's a mutinous little impulse that tells him to inform them all that he's quite capable of pulling Wheelie up all on his own. He's small, yes, but the Micromaster is not weak.
These just aren't the thoughts of a proper captain, though, so while he focuses on extricating Wheelie from this predicament first, he turns a grateful smile on the others once his friend is back on solid floor. Teamwork is something to be appreciated and commended; he can do no less as an Autobot officer. So he checks Wheelie over one last time, then– Then he has to haul Tiny back from the hole because she insists on peering over at her boogly would-be new acquaintance where he clings to that support beneath the floor. Only after Holi has the mecha-dragon in line again does he look up again at the others.
"Thank you," he says sincerely. He blinks, then – with a very tight hold on Tiny's leash – he looks down into the hole. "And thank you, too." If his smile seems just a little strained when his gaze falls on Cannonball as he turns back and Bumblebee mentions the failed infiltration, well, it isn't this Cannonball's fault. Unless this Cannonball is really the bad Cannonball and he's just put on yet another new paint job and he's pretending to be a good Cannonball, which is something Holi is dead sure the bad Cannonball would do. So long as Cannonball doesn't reach for him, there shouldn't be any problems.

Cannonball doesn't think the Micromaster's weak, he's just eager to help, just like the younger captain. It's a captain thing, really.
However, at Bumblebee's information, he scowls. "So...me alternate is a lyin' deceiver, eh?" He grumbles, shaking his head.
Finally, Wheelie's out of the hole, and Holi's thanking the lot of them. He raises his hand, acknowledging the thanks. "Ye be quite welcome, lad. Anything t' 'elp." His tone is sincere. Scratch his paint if you want, you won't find black metal underneath, honest.

"So the orange fella is okay?" Midnight growled from in back, though there was a tone of relief to that growl.
"Blackie, looks Scorp's got a new friend." Midnight chuckled.
"Well, Cannonball, if'n the Boss's Alternate is a sneaky schemer like Ah hear, stands to reason an upstanding fella like yourself would be a real piece of work. Think maybe your Alternate is a 'scurvy scallawag'?" Midnight asked Cannonball with a friendly smirk.
The big dark Seeker turned his head suddenly. "Ah heard something." His head twitched from side to side, then he frowned. "Can't get a fix on it. Soundwave Ah ain't. Gonna go check it out."
He strode briskly out the nearest exit and was gone.

Blackout doesn't consider anyone with the courage to stand and fight to be weak. One does not seek help because one is weak; one seeks help to remain strong.
He gives Wheelie a nod in response to the wave, lacking a recognizable mouth to return the smile. Well, he has a mouth, but with his facial structure, it's hard to tell.
The big chopper raises a brow ridge at Bumblebee's info. "Then my alternate is not so different." The notion is oddly more disturbing than it would be to find out that the other one is a sneaky back-stabber or something equally opposite. It brings up thoughts of how Lord Megatron may be different in this Bumblebee's world.
Scorponok, meanwhile, climbs up out of the hole, keeping to the opposite side of Tiny. His claws spin slowly, plainly wanting to play, but waiting for permission from Blackout and Holi first.

Bumblebee is merely giving Cannonball what he asked for. He nods approvingly at the inter-factional teamwork. Holi might have been in charge of the situation, but it's good to see that they'll work together.
//i sincerely hope there are differences. he was also a violent destructive sadist.//
//from what i know about my own counterpart, he's also quite violent. i have not met any alternate for wheelie or holi yet.//

OOC: Skipping Wheelie due to time-out.
"He's a kidnapper, too," Holi says quietly in Cannonball's direction before giving Wheelie a careful once-over and, Minibot willing, guiding him a little further away from the weak section of the floor just to be safe. Tiny follows, not that she has much choice in the matter, and plops next to Holi once he stops moving so she can sulk properly. Holi, meanwhile, starts to join the conversation only to pause and watch Midnight leave. The Seeker must have very sensitive receptors; Holi hasn't heard anything out of the ordinary. Hum.
He rouses from his thoughts to give the eager Scorponok a cheery smile that's only just tainted with nervousness and a small wave. He then nudges Tiny, because didn't she want to make friends? But she's apparently decided she has put up a sufficiently dramatic fuss just so her caretaker is made quite clear she is unhappy with all his vexing delays. Holi looks at her, and again, then heaves a sigh.
"All right, all right," he tells her. He glances to Scorponok and adds, "A little while longer." Then, a still miffed Tiny in tow, he excuses himself to finish his sweep of the smaller-audience deck. It's a nice way to keep himself from trying to figure out what his evil alternate might be like.
OOC: Please consider Holi skippable until/unless addressed, etc.

Cannonball quirks a brow at Midnight's suggestion. In an alternate world, a captain in the glorious Decepticon Navy is instead a lowly pirate?
Naaaaaah...
Then his optic band flares in surprise at what comes out of Holi's mouth. "A kidnapper...?" he repeats, then his posture slumps a bit, hand moving to his head in frustration with his alternate self. "That's 'orrible."

Scorponok sads as Holi and Tiny move away. Then, with another look back at Blackout, the bug dives back through the hole in the floor, checking from the bottom for more weak spots.
Blackout, meanwhile, boggles at the information about their alternates. A sadist? A kidnapper? This world truly is backwards. "From what I know of our Wheelie, he is a savage. I haven't encountered our Holi yet."
OOC: Methinks we're approaching a fade-out, unless anyone has any ideas?

Bumblebee approaches Cannonball and attempts to put a consoling hand on his shoulder.
Sadly, his advice doesn't come with a particularly comforting tone. Or any tone at all, for that matter. //if it is any consolation, i have learned first hand how deplorable the actions of other versions of ones self can be. our own rodimus prime is nothing like yours. you cannot let their actions impact you--you are not them.//
