Eye-Fire has received orders from Scourge to get into a good vantage point and look around.
Easy, but he's hoping he can also that he'll have a chance to do more than just act as a look out.
Sighting what appears to him to be a tall radio tower, Eye-Fire takes off at a run towards it, hopping into the air and transforming as he reachs the base of the tower. Finding a 'perch' at the top of the tower on a smallish platform that has a multitude of spikes and dishes protruding from it, Eye-Fire begins his vigilant watch.

A large black and chrome tanker truck with illegally dark red windows and prominent purple Decepticon symbols pulls up below the tower. Eye-fire likely could have seen him coming from miles away and could have seen that the tank truck must have floored it.
Scourge is just going to assume that Eye-fire is up where he said he was. He does not transform but instead pops open a door to his cab and calls up, "Eye-fire! Come down and get in. Fleetwind and Thundercracker have been engaged fighting a green aerial Minibot, but Skyfire has entered the fray. I'm going to transport you out there. Skyfire must be taken out."
For any number of reasons, starting with the fact that he could be full of Autobots. Luckily, Eye-fire can compact down and fit inside Scourge's cab. If he does, he'll find that Scourge actually has an array of nice, colour screens inside, where his dash should be.

Eye-Fire responds quickly and efficiently.
Without saying a word, he gravs down from the tower and into Scourge's cab.
"Am I to shoot to destroy, or do you want usable pieces afterwards?" He asks, being serious about this.

"Commander Shockwave himself is hauling out on this one. I would assume that means 'destroy'. The Minibot, however, is to be captured alive, if possible," Scourge replies. Shockwave can clarify later, if it's that important. Dead mechs tell tales, as long as their memory banks are salvageable.
He snaps his door shut and attempts to latch his seatbelts around Eye-fire. Scourge drives a bit recklessly at times, and he does not think Eye-fire would enjoy being thrown around Scourge's cab during transport. On one of the monitors in Scourge's cab, a map of the area pops up, with their current location indicated by a red star and their desired location, Fleetwind's coordinates, indicated by a green circle. Fleetwind seems to be located on the mountain range, below the treeline, beween the mining town and the coastal city. Looks like they'll be off-roading.

Its true, Eye-Fire would rather not be pinballed all over Scourges cab, and as such doesn't fight being strapped in.
"Any air support, or am I to hope I won't get strafed?"

Eye-fire seems to be sensible! Excellent. Scourge likes that. As soon as Eye-fire is properly secured, Scourge heads out. He is taking the quickest and more direct route. He is also not slowing down for the turns, except enough so that he doesn't tip over. Scourge isn't purposely taking the turns hard, but he is trying to be swift and efficient. If it makes the ride a bit harrowing, so be it.
Inside, the city, it's hard to get up to his top speed. It's only around 200mph, but it's better than Eye-fire would make flying on his own, and it gives Eye-fire the benefit of being inside what is essentially an armoured vehicle during transport and a slight amount of surprise. Who expects a sniper rifle to pop out of a tanker truck?
Scourge goes over the situation, "Checked with Commander Shockwave – you are go to shoot to destroy Skyfire. Thundercracker and Fleetwind are in the air, but Fleetwind is injured and may be out of the fight shortly. Commander Shockwave is also mobilising. Short of it? Expect air support to be patchy. However, I'll try to draw fire from you. It's amazing how people forget about the sniper trying to kill them when there's a big black truck and his combat base also trying to kill them."
Scourge's aim is not as good as Eye-fire's, but it's not abysmal, and Scourge is packing an awful lot of armament, most of it in that trailer of his. Scourge can do 'attention-getting', and he's betting that he can soak up a lot more damage and still keep fighting than Eye-fire can.

"Thanks for the info. One request, though. Try not to drive either of them down into the trees, they get cover and I'll have to leave mine to be able to get a clear shot." Eye-Fire responds, there's little more annoying to a sniper than to have his target driven into cover by some misguided fool shooting and not hitting.

Eye-fire's request is perfectly reasonable and logical. Scourge replies, "I will do my best. Of course, if they're down low enough to use the trees as cover, they're down low enough that I can engage them in melee, which I doubt they would enjoy. Anything else?"
If all of Eye-fire's suggestions and requests are so sensible, Scourge will be quite happy to entertain them.

"Nothing else sir. I'll try to respond as best as I can to any tactical orders you give me once we've engaged." He says, and then goes silent.

If Eye-fire has nothing more, Scourge has nothing more. In a way, Eye-fire reminds Scourge of his commandos - focused and obedient. Gnawingly, he wonders what weird sort of quirk Eye-fire has. He must have. No one is ever that good. Movor listened to heavy metal, for Sigma's sake. They leave the comfort of the roads for offroad roughness of the wilderness, and soon, they will be in range. OOC: To this thread.
