Starscream flies towards his destination in F-15 mode. It's possible Eye-Fire and Needlenose have joined him in some way, perhaps not.
Transforming mid-air, he lets his anti-gravs lower himself gently to the ground, barely disturbing the dust on the rocky terrain as he lands. He's so used to doing this that he doesn't even consider it to be the overstatement of the grandeur that it is.
Internally, he checks and double-checks his chronometer. The others should be arriving soon. But so should Rodimus. Interesting that Starscream is meeting this 'Rodimus Prime' for the first time, and he would have more to do with Starscream himself than the noble Autobots he's heard so much about.
Hmm. Another Prime. Another Matrix, even. Starscream hadn't even begun to consider that possibility. Before he knew it, he was smirking to himself as he imagined defeating a Prime not once, but twice, in the same day, and claiming both Matrices as his own.
But first, there had to be this uneasy alliance. But before then, they had to actually arrive. "What is keeping everyone?!"
OOC: No, noone's late. Starscream's just impatient.
Bots-3, if you could please wait for some of the Cons to post in, that'd be great.
Eye-Fire, Shockwave, ScourgeRiD and Needlenose have been ordered to arrive, and Synapse will be brought along as well. In other words, between these people and the seven in the Rodimus convoy, a lot of people are going to appear in this thread, before any other Decepticons decide to pop up with their characters.
To that end, I think this thread would be best used as a gateway thread which people can leave and start their own little Bots/Cons get-togethers, once everyone has arrived, at least. Sound good?

Scourge rolls up in truck mode. The idea of Autobots who actually have their heads on straight isn't a hard one for him to buy. After all, just look at Scourge – Autobot protoform, scanned Optimus Prime – and his hobbies are blowing up dams, attacking people with swords, and intimidating his inferiors. Fine specimen of a Decepticon, isn't he?
Of course, if these Auobots are anything like Scourge, they aren't trustworthy. Scourge doesn't trust himself farther than he can throw... well, he can throw a lot of things really far. That's a bad metaphor.
The tanker truck rumbles, "Scourge, transform," and he does. His trailer vanishes off somewhere. Perhaps its poker game with Rodimus Prime's trailer is now a three-player game.
Scourge greets, "Sir."

Needlenose does, indeed, join Starscream on the flight, but for all the Mayhem is something of a show off, he simply can't accomplish the same sort of moves on landing that Starscream does.
He does remind himself to take a look at the schematics for anti-gravs as soon as he has a chance, however.
Needlenose is quiet, and the tilt of his antennae and wings, the drawing of his brow-ridge, all imply a greater sense of watchfulness, a greater intensity than he normally displays. Spinister is missing, and these new arrivals have something to do with it. He'll keep himself under control, he'll behave, but he'll also be watching and listening carefully.
What the blazes is that helicopter up to?
OOC: Sounds reasonable, Starscream, and to that purpose, I'm marking Needlenose as skippable.

Eye-Fire moves to the meeting point at a flat run. Sure, he could probably get there faster if he used his gravitics, but he frankly preferred to move about on the ground. Not many Decepticons understood why, until they were suddenly stuck without cover in midair.
"Reporting sir." He says as he comes to a standstill. He's not entirely sure why Starscream wants him front and center with a group that is otherwise composed of high rankers, but he'll keep his vocal unit off.

It takes Shockwave a bit longer to arrive at the coordinates; robot-mode flight is only so fast, after all. The minibot Synapse is cradled carefully in his arms. After repairs were completed, and Scourge's pets let loose, Shockwave had decided it was bettter to keep the scout offline until necessary. Synapse had reacted rather badly to the idea of being returned to his master and Shockwave was really not in the mood to listen to the minibot's whining or deal with his struggles.
Shockwave had repaired Synapse to a more or less functional point, though he had not bothered with the cosmetic damages. The only exceptions were the nodes. Shockwave had left most of the wireless feeds cut; the scout still had full tactile sensor feed from both, but their cameras and ability to move independently were offline. One those were restored, Synapse might have some trouble with his right node, as Shockwave had kept that small interior panel for further study. It's removal won't stop proper functions. Just make them less smooth. The scout's optics and radio, are of course, still cut.
Shockwave lands near Starscream. He tilts his head down indicating the unconscious prisoner, "Would you like me to bring him online now, or leave that privilege for his Prime? He was...rather vocal, if you recall. "
OOC: Repairs done and not done to Synapse-3 were agreed upon before hand w/ his player, including Shockwave keeping the node's circuitry panel. Synapse-3's player also agreed to the placement of Scourge the Smaller's wee beasties.

Starscream snaps out of his little daydream as people start greeting him. He turns and nods in acknowledgement to Scourge and Eye-Fire.
Starscream paused, and considered Shockwave's question. His answer is prefaced as a smirk spreads over his face. "We will activate him ourselves as the exchange begins. I want him to know what is happening to him, and that all parties are aware. It will ensure that Rodimus knows we truly are alike.
"Eye-Fire, you are here for goodwill. It is not wise to have my chief spies and snipers hidden from sight. Near as we can tell, they have equivalent versions of ourselves. If they see you here, they know you're not pointing at them from afar."
And then, he faces one of his beloved Mayhems. "Needlenose. You know I trust you to act professional, but I do not hold the same with your little friends." It's possible Starscream is confusing his Nebulans here. They all look the same to him. "Please, stress to them the importance of this meeting," his voice takes a darker tone, "and the repercussions, should they embarrass us in front of our new ally."
Thanks guys, that's great. Autobots, come on down whenever you want!

Scourge takes up a posture of quiet, restrained menace. He isn't actively doing anything malevolent, but the potential is there, ready to be used at any time, should he need it.
There is Needlenose, lacking the salt shaker to his pepper. A curious occurence, that. Scourge heard Spinister's cryptic last message. Change comes fast here.
He glances over at Eye-Fire, who appears to be repaired. Good. If Scourge has to dump Eye-Fire in a tub of sulphur to keep the animals from attacking him, Scourge just might.
He watches Shockwave arrive with some curiousity. It is so quite a shame that he could not stay and watch longer.
Finally, Scourge listens to Starscream. Clever. So this one does not lead simply because he cannot die.

"Y'know, we can understand Cyber-" Zigzag starts, then cuts himself off when Sunbeam hits him on the upper arm. "Hey!"
"Both of you!" Needlenose snaps at his partners. "Holsters!"
"Aw, man," Sunbeam moans, glaring at Zigzag. "Now see what you did?" Then the both of them leap up and transform. Needlenose catches them in either hand and magnetically holsters them at his hips.
"They'll be quiet, Lord Starscream," Needlenose says.
OOC: Skippable. Again.

"Understood sir. I will, as always, stand by to carry out your orders." Eye-Fire says as he stands at attention, his hands folded behind his back.
Now he just has to hope everything goes well. He doesn't think he'll be one to walk out of a fight at this close range with any powerful Autobots that may come.

Rodimus Prime drives at the head of his convoy, and though he is often both reckless and impatient, it is not out of these things that he takes his position. It is out of arrogance. The Prime believes there is nothing the Decepticons can do that he can't handle, and he wants the Decepticons to know how certain he is.
The Prime pulls up across from the Decepticons, and the rear door opens, the back, slanted panel laying down flat, like a ramp, to let his passengers out. Once they've disembarked, he transforms and pulls himself slowly to his full height. Those who know a different Rodimus, or even a Hot Rod, will find him instantly recognizable, despite his Marvel colors. One difference, however, between this Rodimus and any Hot Rod or Rodimus any of the present Decepticons have seen before are his burning red optics.
His gaze sweeps those gathered, the barest hint of a smirk resting just below the surface of the right side of his mouth. That expression, that smirk that isn't quite there, the slight tilt of his head to the left, the faint slant of his shoulders, they all seem to say one thing. You are all my subjects, they say. I rule you. You just don't realize it yet.
He walks slowly towards the Decepticons, the deep tone of his silver-and-red feet clanging against the metal road giving evidence of his considerable mass. Then he stops, directly in front of Starscream, not so close that personal space is threatened, but close enough to say, 'I don't fear you,' and dips his head faintly in a nod.
"Starscream. Greetings."

He nods at Starscream, "As you like." Shockwave shifts Synapse's position a bit in preparation for the wait, then turns his attention down the road.
And it is not a long wait. Shockwave's headfins tilt back ever so slightly as he studies the Prime, Rodimus' passengers of little concern at the moment. This then, is what his own Hot Rod might become, though not exactly this, of course. How very...interesting.
Interesting, he thinks as the Prime stops before Starscream, and...unsettling.

A rusty-looking motorcycle with bands of lurid red along the back rolls up, jouncing over the ground in a way that ought to wreak merry havoc on her suspension. If she even has one. At the high-point of one particular jounce, she transforms and lands nimbly at Prime's left hand.
She peers out from underneath her cap-brim at them, red eyes taking in everyone. Starscream, Scourge, Needlenose, Eye-fire, Shockwave... Heavy hitters all of them, and if they were acting like Autobots...
Her eyes settle on Needlenose. He's a copper where she comes from, but nothing like her. Did that mean this Needlenose does play by her rules?
"Just as every cop's a criminal, and all the sinners saints,"1 she sing-songs quietly.

The 2008 Concept Camaro appeared behind Rodimus Prime, transforming as he does. His battle visor drops down, but that is not as impersonal when faced with not one but two people that completely lack a face. At least he doesn't have his weapon automatically at the ready.
Bumblebee lets Rodimus advance on the Decepticons and introduce himself. He settles for standing in front of the general gathered Autobot masses.
Some might consider this to show he's protecting them.
The reality is that, should pleasantries deteriorate, he wants to engage them first.

Starscream tends to ignore the smaller details, but that's only because he's not paying attention. The first meeting of a malevolent and sinister bearer of the matrix tends to ensure he's aware of what is going on. Starscream notes everything Rodimus is telling him without words.
Of course, countless years of hiding his motives ensure that his own contempt at Rodimus is hidden.
"And likewise, 'Rodimus' Prime." Starscream says, doing his best to be sincere. "I have to admit, this is a most... unexpectedly pleasant alliance we have forged, much more palatable than other truces we've been forced to endure with Autobots."
Starscream tilts his head, casually regarding Rodimus' companions. Of the lot of them, the only one he knows of is Perceptor. He gestures to Shockwave. "As you can see, Shockwave, my second, has repaired our, err, guest to full capacity."

Near the back of the gathering stands a rather innocuous - to these Decepticons, at any rate - looking red mechanism, one hand resting warningly against the base of those freshly reconstructed, and very tender at this point, wings of Duskwing's. The smile that graces Perceptor's features as he stares across the space at the opposing side lacks any vestige of warmth his counterpart may be known for, and for any close enough, that flicker in those azure depths can only be called one of avarice as he glances at their wayward minibot.
Perceptor is very much looking forward to their prisoner exchange. Very much. He has such wonderful plans for Synapse.
That he cannot wait to see if these Decepticon's talented engineers are capable of finding all of his neat little gifts he'd been kind enough to grace this Decepticon subject with is also a significant factor in his eagerness. For the most part, he remains neutral, the occassional tic of a glance in Synapse's direction the only clue to his inner sadistic glee.
ooc: if Duskwing requires edits to Perc-3's posing and posing of him, please let me know. I missed being able to ask to double-check for permission, but I did not wish to hold up this thread or get left out of it now that rotation has flipped back around to the beginning again without Perc-3 getting posted in. Apologies if this causes any difficulties; edits will be graciously made to any portion of this post on request.
