Emirate Xaaron's hand around hers triggers something in Pee-Dee. It partially grounds her so that she stops letting her charm flash colors, but it also makes her yearn for even more physical contact with someone. She hadn't realized how much she missed just curling against someone while they watched a movie during all these weeks without any teevee at all.
She wraps herself around him, still maintaining the contact at their hands. Her other arm goes around his shoulders, her chin rests against the back of his opposite shoulder, and she manages to arrange this in such a way that he doesn't get clonked in the face by either of the wheel-halves hanging off of her shoulder.
"I'd like that."

Emirate Xaaron pauses for a moment, trying to figure out how confining Nightbeat to his room would be punishment at all. He mutters verbally, "Oh, I suppose Grimlock might try to hug him. Carry on."
In that pause, a Junkion wraps herself around Emirate Xaaron. My, but she's nimble, isn't she? He attempts to guide her away from the main crowd and toward the ladder or stairs or lift or however it is that they got to the rooftops. Softly, he offers, "Is there anything else you'd like? I could get you some more high-grade," remember, he paid attention to what she was drinking, "before we leave."

Rodimus Prime could confine Nightbeat to Slag's room instead?
Oh, wait. Slag isn't here yet. He arrives tomorrow. Darned temporal distortions. They're the bane of Rodimus's existence. Well, them and Galvatron. And Unicron, of course.
The Prime nods his head and picks up Nightbeat, tossing him across the shoulder, though avoiding the spoiler. "All right." He grins at Emirate Xaaron. "Enjoy your evening, sir."
As Rodimus carries the detective off, he considers. He's long believed that his position precluded personal relationships. Some troops might perceive such attention as favoritism, after all, and it tends to paint a target on the object of affections - has, in fact. But on the other hand, if even the great Emirate Xaaron can mack on a babe, can he do less?
Certainly something to ponder, at any rate.
OOC: Out of thread with Nightbeat.

"Drinks with teevee are always good," Pee-Dee assures the Emirate. "We should definitely get some."

Emirate Xaaron is a bad role model for Rodimus Prime without even trying. That takes skill,
Once closer, Emirate Xaaron head-tilts at the punch table. The high grade punch seems to be mostly gone, and there are splatters and paw-prints suspiciously surrounding the punch bowl. He turns and hollers, "Long Haul, what did I tell you about letting Tiny eat things without a Decepticon symbol?"
How else is she supposed to learn that Decepticons are food, not friends?
He sighs and, much quieter, excuses, "I am so very sorry. Normal grade?" Looks like that hasn't been dragon-dunked. He grabs for a cup with his free hand.

"I haven't had any of the really hard stuff yet," Pee-Dee comments as she disentangles an arm from the Emirate long enough to get herself a cube of that.
"Are you ready, Eddy?"1

Emirate Xaaron only has Rodimus Prime's advice to go on, so his readiness is debatable. Still, he'll give this a shot, and he smiles, agreeing, "Let's go."

Pee-Dee somehow manages to walk with an arm around him, leaning on him to keep as much bodily contact as possible, with a cube in her other hand, and while in her standard high-heeled boots.
The girl has skill.
