Well, Holi brought the drinks for the very reason of having them taken up by others, so he hasn't a problem with Mirage lightening the load a little. Mirage seems just a bit distracted by Pee-Dee, though… sort of like Jan whenever Illumina's around. Maybe. But the two of them are having a good time of things, while Long Haul just seems down. It's about Omega Supreme, isn't it?
"Long Haul, sir," says the Micromaster in a conspiratorial fashion, leaning up on tiptoes to more discreetly address the Constructibot, "I was thinking of saving some for Omega Supreme and taking it to him a little later. Do you think he'd like that?" Holi's hoping he will.
And with all this visit-plotting and tray-toting, Holi nearly misses Emirate Xaaron's speech! That just wouldn't have done at all. And a toast is in order now, of course; Holi sort of juggles his tray around a bit so he can avail himself of a glass – maybe he shouldn't have emptied his own already – and take a drink. He has to double-check that toasts work that way, but he carries it off without a hitch. Sometimes things can work out just right for him, after all.

"Why can't everyone come?" Pee-Dee tilts her face towards Long Haul. "I thought we picked a roof so everyone could come. It's even the right size for Omega to come visit if he feels like it. That'd be fun, too! Ask him to come, Long Haul?"
Poor Constructibot. There is a cheery Junkion chattering at him in the rapid-fire, topic-shifting way that suggests commercials coming one after the other before the episode comes back on.
And then the episode does come back on as Mirage resumes his flirting. It's likely fascinating to watch her switch from bright cheer directed towards Long Haul to a dimmer, but more heated attitude towards Mirage. "It really isn't any fun if they aren't a little aggressive back, though."
When the Bat-Xaaron snaps his fingers for attention, Pee-Dee whirls around to face him, her heels clicking together. She listens intently to his speech, a smile spreading on her face the whole time. Her toast is also enthusiastic - she downs one of the glasses of fizzy in one long drink.

"Well, Omega can be here, yeah, though that means leavin' the Zoo unwatched." This is significant. You never know when a new person will pop up. What if it's an enemy? "I'll give him a call, but I think he's been kinda tired. Problem is, what's extra drink for folks our size ain't nowhere near enough for him."
His optic band brightens at Holi. "'Course, even if he can't make it, I think a visit afterwards would be a great idea, Holi. I'm sure he'd like it. I'll join ya', too, if that's all right."
He glances briefly at the other two, but turns his attention to Emirate Xaaron when the Emirate snaps his fingers, and listens to the speech. It sounds... nice. When the Emirate makes his toast, Long Haul raises his own cup, then sips down most of his cup. His optic band flashes once more, and he chuckles lightly.
"Still, overall... this thing's looking to be a pretty pleasant little party, I think."

One toast, two toast, three toast...ugh, this mix is just too sweet to be knocking back like this. It becomes almost cloying, this much this quickly, and Mirage absentmindedly puts the now-empty glass back on Holi's tray.
"Not bad for light sipping, but not suited for drinking in earnest. And since someone seems to have declared this Toasting Season, I would much prefer a drink with a smoother finish." Mirage reaches over an plucks Swerve's almost empty glass out of his hand, placing it next to it's twin on the tray; Mirage had noted that the constable did not seem overly fond of the mix, either. "I'll be right back, with something you might find more appealing."
Not missing a beat, Mirage gives Pee-Dee a naughty little smile and a bow, "If you will excuse me, my dear. I shall return in just a moment. I do hope you will remain, that we might continue this quite fascinating discussion."
And with that, Mirage makes his way toward the refreshment table.
OOC: Mirage is not leaving thread, just making a beer run. Skip him on the next round, then he'll post back in the round after. Stealing of Swerve's booze done with player permission.

Somebody said party. Party. That was the best word ever. Word of parties can carry miles and nobody was there to spread it. It's how the best raves are spread, you know. And word has it that a little red car is sneakin' up in hopes of joining this party.
Parties need DJs, don't they? Ooh somebody's got wonderful music for all sorts of situations. Firebolt pops up from off to the side of where the group of bots are on the roof (having climbed up from a nearby building, figuring this was the only way) and stares. Man. What a boring party. They're all just standing around talking.
"Aloha oi~" She declares as she waltzes up, acting as if she hasn't been away for who knows how long and hiding in her little forest hideout (probably sleeping). "Now why wasn't I sent an RSVP to this party, why is there no music, and c'mon, can I DJ?"

Very belatedly, peering at his suspiciously drained glass – hadn't he been sipping? – Swerve wonders if perhaps he could've gotten away with skipping one of those toasts. He isn't so badly off just yet that he'd consider issuing himself a citation for operating while over-charged, but he's starting to feel a little more warm than he usually finds comfortable. Something in the energon, after all? But Holi and Mirage and Pee-Dee have all been drinking the same mix and seem fine. It's just Swerve, then. Processing that fizzy mess must be what's causing the problem, so he has no complaints when his glass is abruptly plucked from his hand. He does, however, have a complaint for the offer of a different drink.
"I'd really rather you didn't, if it's all the…." Blast, Mirage is already gone. "…Same." Swerve slumps, noticeably in fact, only to snap tense again at the sudden appearance of Firebolt. She's as bad as Pee-Dee, Swerve recalls, and twice as unpredictable.
No, wait, he admonishes himself. Different reality, different people.
"Er… I'm afraid I don't quite know, Firebolt," he says tentatively. "But it's good to see you made it."

Holi grins enough of a grin for himself and Long Haul.
"Of course it's alright, sir!" he bubbles happily at the Constructibot. "The more the merrier! Oh, and I could carry a little more of the energon along if I transform and you load it in my boot! Well, if you want to help get me loaded up, that is. You don't have to if you don't want to." Looks like the fizzy stuff makes Holi even more effusive than usual. It's probably a good thing, then, that he sort of misses the other two toasts. Well, he takes another quick drink when he sees others around the rooftop raising their glasses.
Speaking of others, he should probably get to circulating like he planned. Wheelie's around here somewhere, too. But just as Holi turns to leave, another friendly face pops up and the Micromaster cracks yet another wide grin.
"Firebolt!" he cheers. He can't quite give her a hug with a tray on one arm. "You made it after all! Here, here," and he pauses to hand her a glass of the wobblypop, "you missed the big toasts already, but I think it'll be okay. And I guess there's no music because… well… nobody thought of it?" That's really the best he's got. "I'm really sorry, but I have to go take these around in case anyone else needs one," he explains. Here's hoping Firebolt took that glass, because Holi's already underway. "I'll come back later!" he calls over his shoulder.
Now, where to next…?
OOC: Exit the tyke.

Lots of speeches! Pee-Dee goes through her other glass of fizzy at Rodimus's, then has to snag a glass from Holi's tray when Botanica gives hers. Then Skyfire steps up to say something!
Unfortunately, Holi has already wandered off with the drinks. Fortunately, however, the rich young mech who was quite firmly not Bruce 'Mirage' Wayne had gone off to get them more drinks. Probably the harder stuff, too.
The Junkion gives everyone in the vicinity an effervescent smile. "It's a good party. Casual. Drinks. Just needs a little of what the little red miss said."

By the time the forth toast is done with, Long Haul's drink is gone. The Constructibot gazes down sadly at his empty cup, then looks curiously at Firebolt. "Are-Ess-Vee-Pee?" he asks, confused. Then he shrugs. "I s'pose, far as musics go... y'might want to make sure the boss-folks are done yackin'. But if they are..." Long Haul tilts his head and looks faintly upwards, towards the sky. "Well, I really ain't in a position to say one way or another, really." He waves after Holi as the Micromaster hurries off, then looks down again at his drink.
"Hnh. I s'pose I ought to get a refill."
And he wasn't drinking the fizzy-sweet stuff.

Maybe… maybe Swerve should excuse himself and take his leave before Mirage comes back and tries to hand him another drink. Yes, he probably should. He should go join Emirate Xaaron, maybe. At least step away, take a moment to clear his head and cool down a little.
"If you'll please pardon me," he murmurs apologetically, awkwardly, to Long Haul and Pee-Dee, already moving away. "And… give Mirage my apologies?" He's sure his erstwhile guard means well by the gestures – just trying to be friendly, supposes the constable, to include Swerve and make him feel a little more welcome – but all the same…. Maybe the party wasn't the best of ideas, after all.
Swerve stops and stares, however, when Grimlock takes his tumble. That can't be normal, can it?

Firebolt can post back into the rotation whenever she feels like it, and that will be her new place in the post-order.
Pee-Dee steps after Swerve as the constable tries to make his leave, catching up with him as he stops to stare at Grimlock. She doesn't touch him, doesn't lean down to whisper to him or any such thing. She simply stands behind him and speaks in a low voice. "I don't think you're supposed to be wandering off on your own, Swerve. It'd be awful unfriendly to wander off while Mirage is gone."
Dinobot antics or no, Pee-Dee is still quite aware of the rules in place.

Long Haul is just about to head back for a refill when Swerve starts to wander off, a fact that he thinks nothing of until Pee-Dee speaks softly to him. His optic band blinks. Does it make that much difference, so long as someone's keeping an eye on him? After all, that other Xaaron isn't that near Arcee. Or wait, is he the one getting hugged? No, that's their own Xaaron.
He does say, "I s'pose things would be fine, s'long as Mirage knows where he is." Then Long Haul looks around for Mirage. "'Course, that means that he does have to know where he is, for that to work."

After shifting through her thousands of songs, Firebolt eventually chooses some random good ambient techno music and plays it through her internal speakers. She stretches her arms out and then notices who looks like Swerve moving away.
"OI when'd you get to be all like... Nonthreatening," Firebolt declares as she walks up, prodding him in the arm. "I thought you swore more than a sailor at the break of dawn, but erm... A non Earther sailor."

Even as Long Haul is searching, Mirage is making his way back toward the group and his charge. He seems to move effortlessly through the small crowd, smiling and murmuring greetings as he does. The former socialite is for a moment back in his element, and Mirage has relaxed considerably. He is carefully balancing five cups of the more potent of the blends available; five, not because Mirage somehow sensed Firebolt's presence or intended to get Holi sloshed, but five because you never know who might join you. And besides, having spare booze never hurts.
"I return as promised, and with much finer fare than our previous. I must remember to give my compliments to Perceptor, later." Mirage offers cups to the ladies first, of course, and then to Long Haul. Provided they take them (and if they don't Mirage will find a conveniently located plot-device/crate to place them on), Mirage will offer the last to Swerve, with the encouragement of, "It really is quite nice, and if you go slowly, it shouldn't upset your systems too much. I know what high grade can do to a racer's engine."
And with that Mirage takes a long draught from his own cup, completely contradicting his advice. But then, he is more used to the finer things than Swerve, most likely.

Swerve grimaces and while what he does can't really be called flinching, he tenses visibly and very suddenly at the sound of Pee-Dee's voice. She has a point, of course, but he hadn't meant to slink off for the purpose of evading Mirage; he just wants to avoid having more high-grade pushed his way. And why is Mirage going so far out of his way to make these gestures of hospitality, anyway? It's starting to become slightly unnerving… though there's a chance that's the heat talking.
"I didn't mean…" Swerve starts to say, then trails off as Long Haul speaks up for him. Sort of. The grateful look he sends the Constructibot's way is lost, however, somewhere under the blank, flabbergasted stare Swerve fixes on Firebolt while he backs away from her before she can poke him again. "I – I'm sorry… what?" he asks anxiously, fighting to keep the stress out of his voice. Swerve? Swearing? Well, a millenium or so ago, yes, but…. Or is she confusing him with whatever counterpart he has in this reality? Of course, of course, that must be it.
Small wonder, then, that the constable seems to throw off most of the Autobots he meets here; the Swerve they all know, his double, must be much more like what he once was than what he is now. What a horrid thought.
"I'm sorry, Firebolt," he repeats much more calmly, voice raised just enough so he can hear himself talk over the music, "but I'll hazard the guess that you have me confused with the Swerve of this reality. I'm… I'm not him." And he'll leave it at that and try to look inconspicuous instead with Mirage on his way back, drinks in hand. A tactic naturally, hopelessly doomed to failure when he's flanked by a Junkion, a bright red female playing music, and a Constructibot. His discontented look this time is much more clear even as he takes the glass rather than leave Mirage hanging. "Thank you," he says very stiffly, "but all the same, I don't think I'll have any more tonight." And he breaks off to turn and set the glass down somewhere someone more interested in the contents can pick it up if they like.
