Most of the tension goes out of Addison as Lynn accepts the flowers. He grins at both his date and his sister, obviously very pleased at the progress. Crossing over to the bar sink, he runs some water into a glass and pours it into the vase.
"I hope you like the menu Kara put together. She's can make such amazing things out of such ordinary ingredients, you know," Addison purses his lips together and frowns before continuing, "Oh but maybe you don't. I haven't taken you to Open Door yet, I don't think. Lynn's been there, though. Wonderful little establishment."
"Glad you think so," comes a female voice. The chef enters and sets a platter of blue cheese and bacon fries on the table along with a plate of Ahi tuna nachos drizzled with soy and dressed with shaved scallions. The chef disappears back into the kitchen.
Laughing, Addison selects an appropriate beer for the appetizers and then walks to the table, gesturing for Rodney and Lynn to join him.

A bouquet of snarling wolves would have been impractical.
Lynn waits for Rodney to take what he likes. He is the guest, after all, so he should make his choices first. Once he does so, she will take a plate for herself and try to pick out the remaining fries with the most bacon and the nachos with the most Ahi for herself, using the serving tongs.
She eyes the beer speculatively. Lynn's probably not allowed to drink around Rodney. Americans get uppity over that sort of thing.

Rodney lifts an eyebrow and can't help a faint smirk as Addison uses the phrase, 'such ordinary ingredients,' but he makes no comments. It's not really enough of a snub to be worth making an issue over (although... ahi tuna? Ordinary ingredients?).
While Rodney does make sure to get both bacon and tuna, he's not much more particular than that, so Lynn is probably left with plenty of both. He also clearly has absolutely no idea what sort of beer goes with what (he's more a cider man, anyway, something Kate gives him grief over), so he just grabs one. He really wouldn't be bothered by the idea of Lynn drinking, but he has no reason to realize that she's concerned about that.
"Naw, haven't been there," he answers, sitting down. "Looks great, though." He begins digging in. In truth, his priority would be trying to find a way to get Lynn to remember who she is, but... servants.
And seriously, Rodney'd have been happy with a pizza, although knowing Addison, the pizza would have gold-encrusted pepperoni or something.

Addison picked a beer that would work with either appetizer, so Rodney doesn't have to worry about that. The beer was also selected to hopefully appeal to Rodney's sweeter palate- at least when combined with the food.
Also, gold-encrusted pepperoni? Please, that would just be tacky. Addison's pizza would be artisanal, the dough made from a hundred year old starter, layered with the finest aged cheese, heirloom basil, and drizzled with one hundred and fifty year old balsamic.
He slides one of the beers toward Lynn. If Rodney doesn't like the girl drinking, he and Addison can have a lovely discussion about boundaries.
"I understand tomorrow's filming is supposed to be pretty spectacular from an effects standpoint," Addison says as he helps himself to some food, "Lynn, I was wondering if you might not want to come watch? Rodney might be able to show you some of the trade secrets, as it were."
The only servant in the hotel suite at the moment is the chef, and once she finishes the main course, she'll be heading out, leaving dessert ready to serve. Addison may or may not have given her the impression that dessert may come well after, well, dessert, at least for himself. So the group will be able to speak freely soon enough.

Lynn takes the beer. It will only be the one for her for the night. She is not thrilled by the sweetness, but she will make do.
She frowns when Addison asks her to come watch the shooting tomorrow. Lynn is not a huge fan of movies. There are a few that she likes, but she is pretty picky. In general, she would rather read an eBook on her HPad.
So this is clearly a veiled attempt to get her to bond with Rodney. Wouldn't that make a pretty picture for the paparazzi? They're both redheads.
Lynn decides that now would be a good time to negotiate and has the HPad say, "I was considering visiting the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History tomorrow."

Yes, but Rodney is a Pizza Hut man.
Rodney apparently has absolutely no problem with Lynn drinking. He snorts and mutters, "Every day is 'spectacular,'" then louder, "but yeah, tomorrow's going to be particularly... well, explosive. Though I, erm, wouldn't want to pull Lynn away from the museum." Rodney does need to get some time with Lynn, but the set might not be the best place for that.
There's a knock at the door. Rodney frowns and gives Addison, then Lynn, then Addison a puzzled look.
"Expecting someone else?"

When Lynn mentions the museum, Addison feels a slight twinge of... inadequacy. He is intelligent, yes, but he doesn't hold a candle to Lynn's brain. He would spend a day off at an art gallery, not a history museum.
"Of course I'll not interrupt your plans. I merely thought to make the offer," he says, "I-"
The knock at the door not only interrupts Addison's words, but makes the model frown outright. He rises as he says, "No. I am not. And I am most put out by the interruption."
Date Night is serious business, yo.
Addison checks the security feed next to the door and sighs before opening the door. "Hello, Fletcher. What brings you by?" he asks, stepping aside to let a very pale and delicate, androgynous looking individual enter, one who is pale of hair and light of eyes, and might certainly lend credence to Lynn's idea that Addison's line isn't quite human.

Clearly, the solution is to send Lynn off with Fletcher, so that Addison can continue Date Night without relatives being nuisances.
Lynn definitely recognizes Fletcher, and she asks him, "Did any of your grandparents ever talk about being related to the Fair Folk, Fletcher? I am thinking possibly a huldu." She grins mischievously.
Addison will understand where she's going with that, but it is something of a cruel joke to spring on poor Fletcher. That is what family is for.

"Ah, Addison," he says softly, then looks around, frowning faintly. "My apologies, I didn't realize I was interrupting anything." He glances nervously at Lynn and says solemnly, "Well, grandmother Beth used to make some rather unusual claims about grandfather Frank's side of the family," he answers her, "but she also swore that the birds were spying on her and reporting back to the clergy, so I'm not certain how much credence I'd give her theories, Lynn."
His gaze darts to Rodney, and then he looks back at Addison and rubs his chin. "Ah, well... it's a bit of a delicate situation, really."

Rodney's eyes widen in surprise as the lithe stranger walks in. He looks to Addison, as if trying to catch his eye.

"Lynn," Addison cautions in a long-suffering tone. He catches that odd look of Rodney's and turns toward Fletcher.
"Pay her no mind, Cousin," Addison says, emphasizing the relation slightly as he places a hand at the small of Fletcher's back and starts to guide the other man toward the bar. "Lynn recently discovered an anomaly in our family tree, and she delights in trying to link said anomaly to Faerie. If she wasn't so intelligent, I'd be worried she were serious." One corner of Addison's lips is turned up, making it obvious that he's teasing his sister.
He starts to mix a drink for Fletcher and asks lowly, "Now, I don't mind your stopping by at all, but a call ahead would have been nice. What is the problem?"

Anomalies in the family tree are a big deal when one's family tree is the reason one gets to look down on everyone else!
Lynn frowns about having her fun with Fletcher so thoroughly spoiled by Addison. C'mon, bro, she was messing with her cousin! That's a sacred right!
She almost thinks that she is obligated to go mess with Rodney instead. Lynn tries to grab Rodney by a sleeve to lead him off to the other side of the room and makes a low hissing noise, clearly wanting him to follow. Rodney may note that she's quite weak.

Fletcher allows himself to be guided towards the bar. He gives a faint, worried smile as Addison explains Lynn. "Ah. All right, then."
He pulls himself onto one of the bar stools and then tucks his feet neatly on the metal bar that serves as a foot rest. He leans forward as Addison asks his question and says softly, "Ah, my apologies. Time was... short."
He rubs the back of his neck and explains, "I... erm... as you know, my business involves, frequently, making... predictions in certain 'contests.' It would seem that the subject of one of those predictions takes... exception to what I expect the results of his next... 'contest' will be, and I need to be... difficult for him to find for a few days." He shakes his head quickly. "It won't be very long, I assure you. After the fight itself, I don't expect him to be in much condition to carry out his threats." Fletcher really is sure about the outcome of that thing.

Rodney grins, amused, as Lynn tugs on his sleeve, and he allows himself to be pulled along, though he does, indeed, notice that Lynn's not particularly strong. A bit odd, that, given who he suspects Lynn is. He's led to the other side of the room, his tuna nachos and blue cheese fries abandoned (though those had mostly been eaten, anyway).

Addison is distracted from Fletcher's story by the sight of Lynn pulling Rodney away from the table. The model's lips purse in a frown. Oh please, don't let her be asking Rodney what his intentions toward Addison are! Or any of a thousand mortifying things a sister can ask her brother's date.
He pushes the drink toward Fletcher. It should be to the pale gentleman's tastes; they've known each other most of their lives, after all, even if most of Addison's side of the family liked to pretend that Fletcher's side wasn't blood kin.
"I can take a room for you in the hotel, if you want privacy," Addison finally says, looking back over at Fletcher, "Or you can stay here and keep Lynn company." Addison pulls out his phone and appears to be checking a text message. Really, Addison is checking a phases of the moon app he downloaded after the Suddenly, Raptor! episode of last month.
"Should be safe enough for you. Do you..., " Addison pockets the phone and spreads his hands, "Is your current employment sufficent?" In other words, does Fletcher need some funds?
