Lynn types something on her HPad and just holds it up for Rodney to read, because she doesn't want her nosy brother overhearing. It reads:
Addison really, really likes you. He said of you that, 'We are uniquely suited to each other,' when I asked him about you. I hope that you also like him and that you are happy together. About visiting set tomorrow, movie-making is a part of your life and a part of Addison's life, as well, so perhaps I ought to go watch to be supportive.
She attempts a smile and looks way up at the tall man.

"I think I'd prefer to be around people," Fletcher says, taking a sip of the drink. "If that wouldn't be too much of a imposition." It's a bit too easy to disappear without notice when one is by oneself. "And, erm, yes, yes it is. In fact, I should be able to pay you back, if you'd like?" In addition to the pay from the job itself, which is not inconsiderable, there's also the fact that if he does choose to place a bet himself (which is rare), it usually pays off.

Rodney reads the HPad. His eyes widen faintly in surprise, and then he blushes, smiling faintly in embarrassment.
Of course, 'uniquely suited' is an interesting bit of double-speak, and Rodney suspects he has a better idea what Addison meant than even Lynn does. But the situation is awkward on a number of levels. Addison is... incredibly attractive. If anything, he's even more attractive as a human than as a robot, but at the end of the day, he's not human. Neither of them are. And as much as Rodney cares for Addison, there are others who take priority for him, and of course, his duty takes priority over all. He could be called to order any one of them into danger, or to sacrifice them all. He keeps all of this off his face, however, as he kneels next to the girl.
"Well, I do really like him, too," he says quietly, "and although there's no telling what the future holds," hopefully a lot more robots than the present, "I hope we can both be happy, too. There's a lot that needs to be worked out before we can make any long term plans, though." Like robots. Robots need to be worked out. "He understands that."
"I'd love to have you on the set, but with the job, I'm not sure how much I can spend with you." He looks embarrassed again, and the smile fades into an apologetic frown. "I'm, erm, sorry about that, though I'll be there as much as I can if you decide to come."

Addison waves off the offer to pay him back. "Don't worry about it."
"There's a bedroom we're not using in the suite, so you don't have to sleep on the couch, at least, and you're welcome to my wardrobe while you stay. Or, if you prefer, you can pick up what you'd like in the attached shopping center and have it charged to me, to help keep your electronic footprint small."
"I shall be but a moment. I need to see if Kara can accommodate another for dinner, and get you a place setting."
It may be assumed that place setting is fetched so that Fletcher can join them for dinner, if we would like to get everyone back to the table.

Lynn gives Rodney a hopeful look, eyes wide. He is using cagey grown-up words, but he seems nice enough.
Then she remembers that she had fries and nachos she was eating, and she scampers over to finish those off before they vanish. Her appetite is quite tremendous.
The metabolic costs of shapeshifting are prodigious.
She declares, "I shall go see the set tomorrow, then."

"Thank you, Addison," Fletcher says softly, brushing a stray lock of hair from his bangs out of his eyes again. He slips out of the bar stool and lightly pads towards the table, where his place setting will soon be placed. "That is... most appreciated." Of course, despite how polite he is, Fletcher really is bad folks. He's unlikely to abuse Addison's hospitality, but only because he might have need of it again in the future.
He slips daintily into his seat and looks over towards Rodney, who is now returning to the table. They hadn't actually been introduced, but Fletcher is a bright man who pays attention to the news, especially the news connected to the family. He reaches a hand over, a faint smile touching his features. "Hello... Rodney Pryor, isn't it? I'm Fletcher Payne, Addison's cousin." The red head already heard that part, but still, it seems polite.

Rodney reaches over to shake Fletcher's hand before returning to his seat. Addison's cousin is... strange. First off, of course, he's a Transformer, that much Rodney is sure about, even if Rodney isn't quite positive what gender the other is. But there's something about the other man that's abnormally... likable.
He smiles. "Yeah, that's right. Pleased to meet you." He settles into his seat.
He turns a grin towards Lynn. "Really? That's great." Especially if it gives him a chance to speak with her in private, with no "outsiders" around. See if there isn't some way to get her to remember who she really is.

The main course also fetched along with Fletcher's place setting. Addison actually helps the chef bring out three platters of what appear to be burgers. One platter has lamb burgers with a cumin sauce, another has beef burgers topped with Gruyere cheese and caramelized red onion. The third has beef as well, but topped with truffle and foie gras. There is also a pile of freshly-made sweet potato chips and dish of bacon macaroni and cheese.
It's a rather high fat, high protein meal, but aside from the fact that from what Addison has seen, Rodney likes those types of foods, Lynn is a very big meat eater. Addison used to wonder at that, but recent developments have made the why of her dietary requirements clearer. After making a general motion indicating that they should all serve themselves, Addison takes his seat.
Addison fairly beams at Lynn's proclamation. "Wonderful! I'm sure you will enjoy it." He reaches over and tries to touch her hand, "Thank you," he says softly.
He snags one of the truffled burgers and then reaches for the mac. "Oh, Cousin Fletcher will be staying with us for a few days, Lynn. Maybe you can persuade him to visit the museum with you at a later time?"
There is also a new round of beers on the table, for those who wish one.

Lynn goes for the truffled burger, too. Mushrooms are sort of meaty, and foie gras is awesome melty goodness. Then she goes for the macaroni, also, because bacon and cheese are their own justification.
Eyes wide and innocent, she asks, "Would you, Cousin Fletcher?"

Fletcher picks up one of the lamb burgers and takes some sweet potato fries to go along with it. He smiles faintly and nods as Addison states that he'll be saying a few days, and that smile gets a little wider when Lynn asks her question.
"Certainly," he says softly. He doesn't add 'provided the place is busy and it's during the day,' though he thinks that. He imagines that will be the case, anyway.

Rodney grabs the Gruyere cheese burger because, well, cheese and onion. He has no reason to realize that there's anything special about the kind of cheese. He also grabs both fries and bacon cheese mac, because they all look great. He takes a tentative bite, perhaps concerned over the fanciness of the whole affair (that burgers and fries have even been made into a meal this fancy is somewhat mind boggling), but apparently decides that it's good, because he quickly takes a larger bite.
"Wow, this is really great, Addison. Could you tell Kara she did a great job, Addison?" Not that a food compliment from Rodney means much, given how... unrefined his tastes are, but he likes the food, so it only seems proper to say something.
OOC: Any particular topics we want these guys to chat about, or shall we fade out on generic eating?

Kara walks into the dining room in time to catch Rodney's compliment, and smiles, "Thanks. Hope dessert suits just as well." She slips into her coat and stops next Addison's chair. "It's all ready to bring out. See you next Friday," she says, giving the model a knowing smile, "I'll see myself out." Of course, Addison still gets up and walks her to the door. Upon returning to the table, he takes a sip of his beer and commences making small talk. OOC: My brain is failing on small talk, so I am good w/ a fade, unless someone else can come up w/ another topic. Admittedly, if we wrap now, no one gets to dessert.

OOC: Timeskip to dessert?
Lynn goes for one of the Gruyere burgers, her first one done. She has quite the appetite for so little a girl. Anyway, everyone knows that anyone who is anyone sneaks into museums after dark. She is a bit surprised by Rodney wanting to thank the help.
