Okay, sooner or later, the Decepticons are going to do something that Skyfire will react badly to. What's that going to be, and what happens then?
Watching Starscream's play, I'm guessing that Skyfire will actually still be trusting Starscream, if worried about how far off the deep end he may be, when Starscream decides that Skyfire has seen too much/questioned too much and can no longer be used as a Decepticon tool. Starscream's player, am I correct?
Autobot players, it's going to make more than videos of other Decepticons doing something bad to come between Starscream and Skyfire. It'll make him question Starscream's choice of companions, perhaps.. and that could lead to problems all by himself. But seriously, would you believe compromising photos sent by your friend's avowed enemies, over your friend?
However, Skyfire is not stupid. He's quietly assimilating everything he perceives and analysing it, putting together a picture bit by bit. He doesn't like the picture he's getting, but the 'we've been at war for millions of years' thing excuses a lot of discrepancies. The Decepticons, by keeping Skyfire out of the loop, and not hiding very well the fact that they are doing so, are doing more to make Skyfire suspicious of what's going on than anything else so far.
Countering this, there are Decepticons Skyfire finds himself liking, such as Hook. You work with someone, talk with them, and over time, if they're not an utter jerk and you aren't either, you get to like them. People you like, you rationalize away the little oddities. They're going to have to hurt him or do something brutal to someone else in front of him to undo that.
Given all this, I suspect Skyfire's break with the Decepticons either starts with their mistreatment of a prisoner in front of him, or Starscream turning on Skyfire and trying to kill him. So, we'll have a badly-wounded Skyfire on the run, in desperate need of help--but if he doesn't yet have a reason to believe the Autobots are any better than the 'Cons, he's not likely to call them for help.
Room for much drama here. Thoughts on how the involved players would like things to go, what would be fun?
