After rethinking DZ 3 Eye-Fire, making him leadership qualified just doesn't cut it.
I'll instead go with an Eye-Fire who was only minimally programmed with a personality when the cons found him, and due to shoddy programming his Loyalty routines are a mess, which makes him practically uncontrollable by anyone who isn't strong enough to break him for insubordination.
He's also much more vicous and ruthless and insane than the current Eye-Fire, who may enjoy his job and takes pride in bieng able to kneecap a bot from any range, but DZ 3 Eye-Fire will most likely wear thier head as a hat after he's done with them.

While trying to figure out DZ-3 Dead End's pull-point and background to current events, we worked out what happened in 2005 in chat:
Dead End-3 was taken from Charr sometime after the defeated, demoralized Decepticons were driven there by the victorious Autobots and their decimation by Unicron. During the disasterous 2005 raid on Autobot City, Megatron was mortally wounded by dirty-fighting Optimus Prime. Megatron, in turn, severely damaged OP. O.P. was killed treacherously by the evil Hot Rod-3, who took the Matrix for himself and became Rodimus Prime-3.
On the way back, Starscream-3 was contacted by Unicron, who offered to revive their mortally-wounded and dead, if only they would use their renewed strength to attack Rodimus Prime and destroy him utterly. Loyal to Megatron to the end, and ignorant of Unicron's purposes, Starscream agreed to Unicron's bargain. Megatron was revived as Galvatron and took off with the other re-formatted Unicronians to deal with Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus.
Starscream-3 took the rest of the Decepticons home--and found out he'd made a deal with the devil when Unicron showed up and begain devouring the moons. Starscream rallied the Decepticons on Cybertron to fight Unicron, and led the futile, hopeless defense--and died valiantly. Rodimus Prime eventually got to the same position he did in the movie and destroyed Unicron--after all, it was *his* world to rule and he couldn't rule it if a planet-eating machine devoured it.
The Decepticons were decimated by Unicron, Galvatron and the Unicronians were lost in space, and they were no match for the mostly untouched Autobots, who drove their demoralized enemies off the planet. The Decepticons took refuge on Charr, nearly starving until the Unicronians returned with Galvatron. Unfortunately, the loss of his loyal right-hand Starscream, and the decimation of his people who had trusted him and the widespread destruction caused by Unicron weighed too heavily on Galvatron's mind; he sank into grief, apathy, and depression. Like King Theoden in "The Lord of the Rings", he has no hope and sees no future worth fighting for.
The Stunticons remain as Galvatron's loyal guard, but they are affected by the situation. They love their leader, and try their best to serve him, but like him, they are without hope and beset by sorrow. If only something or someone could lift Galvatron's mood, bring back his courage and determination!

Skyfire-3 is an Autobot treasure-hunter. He explores alien planets looking for resources and treasures that can be sold on the black market. He is fascinated by exploring distant places, meeting and and learning about new peoples, exploiting them for his own gain and robbing them of their most precious antiquities. Think of him as Belloc in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" as far as that goes.
Unlike Belloc, he doesn't have a core of decency and chivalry. Skyfire-3 cares nothing for the rest of the universe except insofar as there's something in it for him. He works with and channels some of his take to the Autobot leaders because he has to, and it's in his own best interests. Like the rest of the Golden Age Autobots, he's thoroughly decadent and self-centered.
In Skyfire-3's case, decadence manifests as a taste for young jet-formers, usually Decepticons. Autobot jets are few and recent and tend to have sponsors and protectors among the Autobot elite. Skyfire-3 is fairly fond of his "pets"; he pampers them and treats them as a dog-owner treats his favorite dogs. He does not tolerant rebellious or ungrateful pets, but that is usually easily fixed with a bit of re-programming to make them more cooperative. For more difficult pets, he's been known to enlist the help of Perceptor-3 in adjusting their attitudes.
Skyfire-3 is not a sadist; he does not torture or abuse or discipline excessively his "pets" (slaves). As mentioned before, they are pampered and cared for, and he is rather protective of his favorites and will not allow other Autobots to damage them. However, for all that, they are still just pets, and smart servant drones, to him, not people.
No changes in stats or configuration necessary.

One of Megatron's elite soldiers, Thundercracker-3 is nonetheless beset by doubts regarding the cause he fights for. Though he will protect his Emperor when called upon, deep in his processor he wonders if the Autobots aren't right after all... if Decepticons really are nothing but savage monsters, and the Autobots' modus operandi wasn't somehow warranted. And while an exceptional flier himself, he takes pity on those who cannot experience for themselves the thrill and beauty of flight, including Autobots.
Despite his doubts, Thundercracker-3 is an effective soldier when given cause to be. He respects Starscream-3 highly as a commander and does his best to support him. And his friend, Skywarp-3, can usually draw him out of his funk of doubt and remind him of the cause he fights for.
At the opening of the DZ-3 plot, Thundercracker-3 is Skyfire-3's captive. Unlike some of Skyfire-3's pets, Thundercracker-3 needs remarkably little reprogramming -- he has led himself to believe that as a "monster Decepticon," he deserves the role he has been given.
TC-3's stats remain the same, and he is Kill-OK

Hmm, given the above history, it would make sense for Dead End-3 to have appointed himself Starscream-3's bodyguard. He's a Stunticon, part of Megatron, then Galvatron's personal guard, and Starscream-3 was Megatron-3's most loyal right hand. In Dead Zone-3, DE-3 would see Starscream-3 as not only the legitimate leader, but the rightful "heir to the throne", also inheriting the services of such Imperial guards as are around, like Dead End-3.

Instead of the cautious nature of her counterpart, Oracle-3 is very much the thrill seeker, looking for the next high. Facing prejudice and distrust because of her Seeker-type build, she is perhaps a bit overly quick with her blades, but for the most part her minor precognition abilities combined with her melee combat skills as an assassin keep her out of trouble, since she doesn’t attempt to hide either of them. On the other hand, having been an Autobot since fairly early in the Third War, she does know how to bend to a superior force. Getting killed would put an end to her fun after all.
Stats are the same as the DZ version.
Edit: I gave into temptation and will be playing Oracle-3. She is not kill_ok.

*EDIT* Ok, fourth and final rewrite. This one sticks come hell or high water.
Eye-Fire was originally set to be the prototype for a hunter killer drone that the Autobots were planning to use on the Decepticons. But one of the scientists working on him got greedy, and decided to steal the prototype and flee Cybertron, where he would then sell the prototype to the highest bidder.
Unfortunately for his plans, the lab were they were working on him got raided by the Decepticons after they got tipped off. Things didn't go as smoothly as planned.
During their attack on the lab, and after they'd recognized that Eye-Fire could be converted to be fully sentient, things went wrong. Before they could disconnect Eye-Fire's body safely from the various machines he was hooked up to, one of the scientists, in a panicked attempt to escape, activated Eye-Fire with large parts of his programming still incomplete. He had just about enough to know to start shooting things. As he was still mostly drone, he couldn't be reasoned with and had to be disabled forceably by the cons doing the raid.
As a result of these actions, his core programming became corrupted. While the cons were able to fix everything that would be fatal to him, there are still lots of errors in his coding, some small like those that deal with speech, others more dangerous such as he has difficulty sometimes in his target selection.
He means well, he really does. He doesn't try to unnecessarily extend the pain of someone whom he has to kill, and he'd much more want to disable than kill if at all possible. Its just so hard to think clearly sometimes when all those alarms go off for no reason, or he finds his aim wandering...
To keep him operational, he needs frequent attention from someone who can fix his code, as it slowly starts to corrupt itself if he's left alone for too long.

Huh, it looks like I never posted Skystrike-3's profile. Anyhow, here it is.
Skystrike-3 is a proud although sometimes not very noble Decepticon warrior. His roles during the wars ranged anything from humble to disgusting but he is relatively loyal to cause and unwavering in his beliefs despite his difficult life.
Outside of battles he is friendly, if rather smart-mouthed and loud to the point of annoyance, often unintentionally slipping up and insulting someone somehow. Skystrike is, unlike his counterpart, far more willing to socialize although his obnoxiously talkative and sometimes overconfident nature tends to drive people in the opposite direction of his presence. Good intentions he may have, but a socialite he is not.
He often makes up for these flaws by being almost zealously protective of comrades and close friends in face of the Autobots, to the point that he’s willing to stoop down to the same level as them to protect the people he values. This most certainly is a cause of a lot of problems, especially when one takes into account that a lone seeker cannot protect everyone.
Skystrike-3's stats remain the same.
