//Not sure if you've had the opportunity to notice, but Sentinel Prime's a manipulative little glitch.//
Not that Emirate Xaaron knows anyone like that.
//I briefly entertained the idea of giving him command of Jetstorm and Jetfire again to keep him busy enough with responsibilities that he doesn't get up to anything.//

//Oh, yeah, I noticed that about him.// Their initial meeting, back when Sentinel thought that Rodimus might be his Rodimus, was particularly enlightening as far as that went.
//Hmm. Actually, yeah, you are crazy, but that might work. I'm a little concerned about how he might influence them, although I suppose he's already been in charge of those two before. We'd still have to keep an eye on that, though.//

//On the other hand, he is a manipulative glitch, and this would simply be giving him what he wants. Perhaps not the wisest move.//
//We are going to have to keep an eye on him anyway, however.//

//Being a manipulative glitch is not... well, okay, it's not exactly noble, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its place. Something I suspect you might know something about.//
//For some reason.//
//It's a question of making sure that he's an Autobot-serving manipulative glitch rather than a self-serving manipulative glitch.//

//That is the trick, isn't it? I suppose we can't just drop him next to an exploding reactor and see if he throws himself in it to stop the explosion.//
That's what Emirate Xaaron would do!

//Not unless you happen to have an exploding reactor handy.//
//And I don't think causing one would be a good idea.//

Oh, phoo. No one ever lets Emirate Xaaron blow up anything.
//What say we corral Jetfire and Jetstorm and see what they think of it? They get a little more autonomy out of it, though they'd still answer to Kup and Springer, of course, and perhaps they'll agree to watch Sentinel Prime for us.//

//Sounds like a plan! You want I should do the corralling, or should we double up for this one?//

//Well, if that frighten them, we've got no business putting Sentinel in charge of them, so sure.//

Concurrent with The Taunting Lampposts
//Oracle said she thinks Twin Twist is from my reality, but she also mentioned that Twin Twist said his Rodimus Prime was sobbing on his knees. Is that... something you do? Because there isn't really a Rodimus Prime in my reality aside from when you time travel into it.//

//... I. Uhm. Sobbing? Not that I can recall. Generally if I'm on my knees, it's because I've been knocked down and am pushing myself back up.//
He was shouting from his knees after the last time he had to take his body back from Unicron. That... wasn't a good time for him. But even then, he was on his knees because he had crashed to the ground.

//Glad to hear that.//
//He has a brain module. Seems to not have a spark. Talked about Arcee getting her hood redone and thought Prowl was a woman for some reason. I'm hoping he's from an entirely new reality set.//

Rodimus is really getting a bad feeling about this.
//So do I, but so far, our reality is the only one that has brain modules but not sparks, and the thing about Arcee's hood...//
Although Rodimus and Xaaron are from different reality threads, it's still more or less the same 'core' reality.

//Oracle says that Twin Twist says that he's from the year 2510, which is strange. This actually makes him from a farther point in the future than the Maximals, which may explain why he seems to be in the middle of fighting a Wrecker Technobot Civil War as opposed to an Autobot Decepticon Civil War. Says he doesn't seem to know what an Allspark is.//
