Rodimus has a desk this time! No, actually, he has one slab of metal set across two metal boxes, and is sitting on a third metal box. Well, it's kind of like a desk.
"I've been noticing that there are a few patterns repeated regularly across many realities. One of the more common ones is the fact that Earth, a little organic planet circling a rather ordinary star, appears almost destined to play a significant role in our war. Xaaron and Kup already went over how it became involved in their realities, and my own. For me and Xaaron, Optimus Prime left Cybertron to clear our planet's way through an asteroid field, Megatron followed, attacked the Ark, boarded it, and during the battle the ship crashed into Earth and knocked many prominent members of both factions off-line for four million years. In Kup's case, Optimus Prime left to search for energy, Megatron followed, and the end results are the same. I'm not certain how the war was brought to Earth for Reality Wedge, Reality Bumblebee, or Reality Holi, but that it plays a significant role is undeniable.
"The following information applies to the Earth of my reality, but looking over the books and music added to our database, it looks like there are a lot of similarities between realities.
"Earth, or Terra, is, as stated, an organic world. For those who have never been on an organic world... look around. The humans weren't as technically advanced as the Gillanans, and the specific animals are different, but plants, animals, a reliance on water and soil... these are all common qualities. Airazor and Rattrap both take alternate modes that appear to be larger-than-normal versions of Terran animals. As for the humans themselves, well... they resemble our robot modes. Faces similar to our most common facial design, two arms, hands with five digits, one of them opposable, two legs. They're a lot smaller than most of us - again, Rattrap and Airazor, in robot mode, are in the same general ballpark as humanity so far as scale is concerned. Holi's a bit larger than them, though not much.
"Good and evil, intelligent and foolish, kind a cruel... human personalities run the full gamut of possibilities. Sometimes all at once. We have, in general, found some very good and steadfast allies among their number, and while a few have tried to use us to their benefit, such as the terrorist organization known as Cobra, most conflicts between Autobots and humans have been due to misunderstanding. Early on, the humans had difficulty distinguishing between Autobot and Decepticon, and simply assumed all Transformers to be enemies. The Decepticons did what they could to exacerbate this situation, doing things like attacking human settlements and proclaiming they were doing so in the name of Optimus Prime, or setting two Dinobots who had been reduced to animalistic mindsets to battling each other in the middle of a human town.
"Despite their best efforts, however, we eventually gained the trust of the Terrans. Some, such as the Witwicky family and Blackrock, were close allies from almost the beginning. Others came around more slowly. But still, eventually we were able to prove our good intentions. We treated with their government, and were granted land sufficient to build Autobot City. We also have a reasonably close working relationship with G.I. Joe, their special anti-terrorism strike force, and the Neo-Knights, a team put together by Blackrock specifically to deal with Transformer threats to human interests. Unlike their predecessors, the Rapid Anti-robot Assault Team, or RAAT, the Neo-Knights were trained to distinguish between Autobot and Decepticon and to combat only the Decepticons." Rodimus smirks slightly and taps his 'desktop' lightly with his right forefinger. "Considering Blackrock eventually even managed to get Circuit Breaker to only attack the bad guys, you'll hear no complaints from me about them.
"Speaking of Circuit Breaker and the Neo-Knights, be aware when dealing with humans that not all of them are as weak or helpless as they appear. Though very rare, special abilities, or 'super powers' do exist among them. Except for Circuit Breaker, whose powers are derived from technology, all of the Neo-Knights have abilities that seem to come from some in-born potential. The Autobots have, on occasion, had dealings with other powered individuals as well. One such is Spider-Man, who worked with Gears very early during our time on Earth. We were never able to learn much about him, however, beyond the fact that the editor-in-chief of one of the major New York newspapers seems to really hate him, so we don't know whether his abilities are in-born, derived from technology, or something else."
Yes. That's right. Rodimus Prime is now talking about Spider-Man as though he's a real person.
"Now, if we do fail to stop the Decepticons here, if we discover that this universe has an Earth and that they are, as yet, uninvolved in any Transformer war, it is my hope to keep it that way. However, their planet is very rich in energy resources, and the Decepticons of several realities are already used to thinking of them as targets, so the possibility of involvement has to at least be considered.
"So, why am I talking about a planet halfway across the galaxy that I don't want involved in what's going on, anyway? Because one look at our database will tell demonstrate that they've made a significant cultural impact on us. The Junkions tend to speak mostly in English, a prominent human language, or to switch back and forth between that and Cybertronian. Bumblebee communicates largely using Terran music. In fact, I want everyone arriving who doesn't already know English to install a language patch. There is also, of course, what I've mentioned previously. I don't want Earth involved, but it has a cross-reality history of becoming involved, anyway. Not only does understanding how it became involved in our wars offer us better planning to avoid that here, but understanding the planet and people itself will prove important should the pattern continue to repeat itself."
